New Perspective Senior Living

First impressions are very good. We will definitely be considering this community.

My husband does not want to participate in activities so I can't rate them. My only complaint has been with the housekeeping services and I gather that they have had a personnel problem in that area.

My family member resides in the West Fargo Betty's Harbor memory care and has been there for approximately one year. We have had a very positive experience with NPSL and the staff! They are very welcoming and helpful when we visit as well as attentive to our family member! They incorporate the memory care residents with the assisted living & independent living activities as much as possible and have the belief they are all one family! Music, crafts, cooking/baking, decorating have all been enjoyed by our family member! We would love to see the big dance floor used and have scheduled dances for the residents, like many residents used to do. We are hoping that will be happening soon! Our family member STILL loves to dance! Thank you NPSL/West Fargo and your entire staff!

We found the management and staff at New Perspective to be very helpful, available and always friendly. The facility itself rates a 5 star on appearance and comfort. The meals and activities were excellent.

New Perspectives is a nice facility. The employees are very nice. Food was above average. Hardly any activities, however. My mom became very bored. She went there for rehab on her leg. The PT dept. was excellent. But, the day to day nursing care was not very good. Lazy. Slow response to answering lights. Sometimes 45 minute waits. The room was not handicap ready. Housekeeping was not very good. I would not recommend New Perspectives for rehab. You won't find much for residents to do either.

We enjoyed this location the best so far and believe it has the best options for my best comparatively. Unfortunately, they do not have availability in the CBRF portion of the facility, and we agreed my dad would not be a suitable candidate for assisted living. We are hoping something opens up here, as we would be inclined to move forward with this facility.

really nice, hit all points on our checklist and both parents would like it there. I would like there to be one staff to every 6 people both day and night and the on call nurse to live not more than 10 miles away - that's what I want in ALL Alzheimer/Dementia care places.

I checked out many places for seniors sixty plus years to live before I discovered New Perspective. It is such a beautiful facility, less than two years old near shopping areas and within walking distance. New Perspective has lovely living quarters for most senior needs such as cleaning services, exercise, swimming, meal services etc. Some rooms are furnished with kitchen and washing appliances at no extra charge. I especially enjoy the no cost special trips to shop and go to doctor appointments and the no cost entertainment brought in to keep us from becoming bored throughout the day and evening hours. [Removed], very pleasant. Smaller rooms compared to what we have seen but larger 1 bedroom floor plan will work. Didn't see many residents out and about. Close to Dr. [Removed] office and CC if and when Dr. needs to be changed. Van is accessible anytime when available to visit [Removed]. Mom and Dad would schedule. No gym or work out area. Can give own meds; they provide housekeeping and linen changes; can pay extra for laundry. If higher level of care is needed in the future; there is no need to have to move; Nursing care comes to them. Dr.[Removed] is PCP on staff, but van takes patients to Dr. Waters. Satellite TV a concern; not cable. Offers Aging in Place

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Aunt. The reason why we did not pick this community is that they had a large initial community fee that is nonrefundable. The marketing director was very helpful and informative. They answered all of our questions and gave us clear answers. It’s a very nice facility and the staff was friendly too. I would recommend it to other families.

Dad is doing great since moving here.He is doing the activities and keeping busy. He likes socializing with the other residents. The community is just the right size not too big and not too small. The staffing seems to be very nice and friendly. They have always been kind and accommodating to me anytime I've been there. Dad loves the food I've eaten there a few times and I must say it is very good.

My mother is doing very well with her move to this community. Everything is going well, and I'am very satisfied with all they have done for us. She is very safe, and in great hands. The staff is taking great care of her, and her needs. I know she is receiving good care. The experience is very well, and I have already recommended this community to my friends. It is a very nice facility.

Both of my parents have recently made the move into this community and so far I am pleased with how things are going for them. The staff where helpful with the transition and they have settled into there new living environment. They are enjoying there new apartment and think its the perfect amount of space they needed. They are looking forward to enjoying some of the activities at the activity center with the other residents in the future.

I toured the New Perspective Senior Living. The lady showed me around the property and showed me the room that my loved one would have if he was to move there. It was a very nice, gorgeous community. They never called us back, we tried calling them several times. It ended up okay because ended up needing a facility that would be able to take a couple and we found the perfect fit.

She loves the food and activities. She enjoys the staff. They are friendly.

I like my apartment and the community and the people here. I don't like the rate changes.

This looked like a beautiful community when we visited. The people we met at this community were nice and friendly. This community was our first choice, however the cost is a little out of our price range.

I have resided here just 2 weeks but it feels like a good fit for me. I am young (60 years old) but recent medical issues made it necessary to move out of the family home to a place that would be easier for me to navigate. Living alone since my husband died, my children were concerned about my physical well-being continuing to live alone. I wanted to remain in my community for a number of reasons. New Perspectives meets my needs and knowing some people who work here makes me feel more comfortable in a new place. I plan to be here a long time

They are able to provide dad with his special dietary needs, Dad seems to be doing better since moving into this community. The staff are helpful, attentive and answer my questions. The community is clean and well maintained. I wanted to thank A Place for Mom for their help as they saved me time and money in my search.
