New Perspective Senior Living

Our family was able to do an in person tour and we really liked this community. We liked it because it seemed to be family owned. The staff members who we spoke with were talking about their meals and how the food is home cooked which stood out to us.

We had never heard of respite care until we became the primary caregivers for my mother and longed for a vacation. We reviewed and met with several facilities and chose Sunrise of Roseville. Mom absolutely loved this place and said she would definitely go back again. She raved about the food and her caregiver. Her suite was clean, modern, and lovely. She adored having a large picture window and a view of flowering trees, ducks, and birds. The staff was responsive to any question or adjustment we needed. I highly recommend Sunrise of Roseville. We will use them again for respite care and if/when she ever needs full-time care this would be top on our list. She has lived in two other facilities in the past and this is the only one she says she really loved.

I thank God for the day we decided to place my mom and dad at Sunrise of Roseville. You are experts at tailoring care to those you are responsible for, including extended family. In a year of extra hardship, you have not abandoned basic compassion and personal interest in each resident.

We toured the community and the tour was very positive and very comprehensive. The staff was very engaging and friendly. we based our decision on price, location, and the care offered.

It was a weird time due to Covid. But we were very happy there. One thing that I really liked was when my loved one passed, the people there were really lovely to me. Our family came to the room and sang Amazing Grace, and his two main caregivers came and sang with us. And the whole staff was lined up downstairs and waiting as we took him out, and said their goodbyes to us. It was especially meaningful and lovely at a time when funeral services were not allowed. I'll carry that memory with me forever. It was very touching.

From senior staff to daily caregivers to food preparers and servers, this community exceeds expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Arboria.

The staff is outstanding. The layout is very good. Everything is very convenient. You're a block and half from the hospital, so you're close to medical services. It's waterfront, so you have a great view. It's very interactive with the activities they have for the residents. It's also a secured facility with an attendant during office hours and locked doors after hours.

We love the community. The staff makes it special and have been wonderful. The food is awesome. My mom has been really happy. She went in with uneasiness and the staff have been patient, kind, helpful, and accommodating. The staff gets to know about the family members. This move has been the best thing for her. She has events to go to, The community is protective of the residents and don't allow anyone in. However, the staff are good at keeping families updated with communication. We get a monthly newsletter that includes pictures of residents, calendar of events, and things that have been going on in the community. The activities department during the pandemic made sure to visit each resident to participate in activities. Sunrise loves feedback from the residents on how to improve. The building is very uplifting and bright. They have white cabinets in the kitchen.

They are all really friendly and the community is a very place.

My mother recently passed away at the age of 95. Sunrise took great care for mother in every possible way for the years she lived there. The staff is patient, caring, efficient, and often made my mom laugh because of their good nature. The food at Sunrise is spectacular, and when possible, we would dine with my mom. Their communication with us was top notch and we would be immediately notified if there was a problem, and they conducted regular family meetings to keep everyone updated. Sunrise went above and beyond when they allowed us to use one of their dining rooms for a private dinner which mom loved. Mom was in the memory care unit, and we are so thankful we moved her out of her former community home and made the transition to Sunrise. Thank you, Sunrise!

The food is good and the staff is going out of the way to make him feel comfortable. it is expensive but he is getting the care that needs and we appreciate that. Communication is very good and we know what is going on in the community.

We chose this facility becuase of the location and they offered elderly waiver. My dad is in a studio and I feel like it is perfect for what he needs. I they have memory care and assisted living, so it is a low functioning community. There is not a whole lot of chatter and talk and get together, I think if they added independent that it would be more vibrant. Overall, I would absolutely recommend the community.

The staff is very friendly and always prompt to help. The community is as nice as you can get. The food that I tried was very good and they had a good variety. I would recommend this community to others.

The community is good. The flexibility of what is available for residents to do is something that stands out to me. The food is ok for me. The meals are currently being delivered due to the pandemic. I prefer to eat in the dining room.

We chose New Perspective Senior Living because of the activities provided and they had a memory care unit which is what we needed for our loved one. The room sizes are great, very spacious. I have eaten here and have no complaints about the food. It is in a location that has easy access and the nurses are great. If there is any issue, they address it right away. I would recommend.

My ratings are based on my experience prior to COVID. My loved one seems to be happy and well cared for at Sunrise of Golden Valley. We were able to visit once a week outside. The memory care rooms are great and my loved one has their own bedroom, bathroom and living room. This makes it feel like a little apartment. I like this for my loved one.

If you want peace of mind to know that your loved one is safe and well cared for, rest assured, Arboria is the right assisted living community for your beloved. My mother has been a resident there for 5 months and she already feels like it's her "home." I describe it as a "Boutique" facility (small, but large in quality), where EVERY resident is important and you are certainly not just a number. All the staff from the Executive Director, to the Nursing Team & care-givers are extremely friendly, compassionate, rapid to respond to her (& her call button - which she pushes often) and offer great communication. I think it is important to mention that my mother has had hardly any issues since she moved in, but when one did arise, it was rectified immediately. The daily activities are always different and the Activities Team constantly make it fun for the residents to be involved. The facility also often conducts livestreams on social media where you can watch your loved one live and in action! Overall, my mother and I have been met with nothing but positive experiences in this assisted living community. If researching facilities in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, I highly recommend you check out Arboria.

My wife [name removed] was an assisted-living resident of Arboria of Long Grove from the beginning of June until her passing in [date removed]. Both she and I greatly appreciated the staff and the wonderful facility at Arboria. Everyone went out of his or her way to make [name removed] as safe, comfortable and happy as possible. If you are looking for a place for your loved one for assisted-living or memory care, I would strongly recommend that you consider Arboria. It would be hard to do better.

The care services at Arboria community are excellent, and due to COVID they have had to stop all of the activities. The people at this community are so friendly and they really seem to care for the residents who are staying there.

The staff members really stood out to us in the beginning, and the rooms this community provides are pretty good sizes. The food would be a three out of five, and we would recommend this community to a family or friend.
