New Perspective Senior Living

After our tour we are super impressed with the facility and it's staff. The welcome from everyone, including residents, was amazing. The rooms are clean and spacious. The multiple activities that can be enjoyed are many and include live music, bible studies,, shopping, and special outings. They have a theater, library, and bistro to share time with others, including happy hour! They also have a barber/beautician, podiatrist, and therapists on sight. I am glad we found this new HOME for our father!

I have been an "Assisted Living" resident since January 2021, Having never lived in a facility, I had no idea what it would be like. From the beginning, I can only say, I feel like part of a family! After the first "mask" life eased and the dining room opened, it was an opportunity to appreciate everyone and everything. The Care Givers are so helpful. The staff work hard to keep things going smoothly. Our spiritual lives are important also with a variety of opportunity for both Catholics and Non-Denominations meetings. Medical/Therapy help is available too, so our personal needs are taken care of. No matter the age or needs, New Perspective should be considered first. From Vivian L Von Bergen

My grandmother has lived in the same area for 89 years. Moving across several states was not going to be without its struggles but New Perspectives was flexible and allowed us to set the space up a few days before Grandma would arrive. She walked into a new space but it was filled with all of her familiar belongings. The nursing and dining staff are personable and fun. New Perspectives was the right place for us and for Grandma.

Our family had a virtual tour and it was quite effective, they had great communication. However it came down to money and if our loved one ran out of money while living here they would of had to leave.

This is a delightful place and I would recommend you look into the community for your loved one. The friendliness, the fact they allow pets, and the community is clean all stand out to me. My friend is not happy with all the meals due to allergy restrictions. The enjoyed the chicken tenders and sweet potatoes fries meal they received one night for a meal. The community is currently not doing activities due to the pandemic.

We had a great tour experience with New Perspective. The building did look a little run down and needed some work.

We had a good tour experience with Sunrise. The facility just needed some TLC and was not the right fit for my loved one.

Our tour at Sunrise of Roseville was fine. It was a little bit of an older setting, although I don't think it was all that much older than other places we looked at. We had a good tour experience with [name removed]. Ultimately, our decision came down to location.

The community is very clean, the staff members are wonderful they have a 5+ and the meals and dining service is great. When we do have activities I really enjoy them, and overall it is just a very nice community with nice apartments.

New Perspectives is a beautiful brand new big facility. They have a big outdoor space in the middle where residents are able to hang out as long as the weather is nice. All of the rooms and common areas were large and spacious. The staff members were wonderful and very straight forward with us. Unfortunately they just did not have the capacity to handle my dad and what his needs were at the time, but it was a great place.

The tour was great and the facility was beautiful

Our family had an in person tour and it seemed pretty good they did a great job showing us around. However at the time we thought our loved one was fast approaching hospice and at that point they would of moved her into a room with an elderly waiver and the room was like the size of a big closet. Enough for a bed and a bathroom and that was it.

We have been very happy with our experience so far, the staff members take care of anything and everything. Anytime we have questions or concerns they are addressed immediately. The staff are outstanding, and our loved one is doing really well there.

Wanted to share our experience with people thinking of both Independent and Assisted Living options. We wanted to be proactive making a living arrangement that would work if one spouse needs Independent Living and the other, with a Neurological condition requiring first Independent then Assisted, with increasing hours until a Memory Care then Hospice may be needed, but all in the same building. We also wanted to live in the same apartment as long as possible. At New Perspective we found that place. Big enough for a wide range of care, therapies and Activities in and out of the building. Small enough to have that Family feeling. Staff is so friendly and caring. They are cross-trained in many positions so they are flexible meeting whatever needs come up. Come join us here, you won't regret it! In fact, it's also a wonderful place to work and, like other places, can always use more hands to fine tune our great organization.

Our tour with The Waters was great. This was the facility that we wanted to go with, but they had no availability when we needed it.

My mother has had a wonderful experience at New Perspective. After a fall breaking her leg at home she needed a place with rehab and could accommodate her living needs. I am thankful to say that after several months she is ready to go home and travel again. She can't say enough about the staff and residents making many new friends. The therapy was way more beneficial than the other place. She said if she ever needs any care later in life not to look anywhere else, NPSL is where she is going! Their apartment is very nice. The food is heavy on carbohydrates. I do think that they could improve on the cleanliness of residents rooms. The staff here are very friendly, if there are any changes that need to be done they seem adhere to that.

Sunrise was definitely our second choice, it was a beautiful facility. We really liked all of the staff members here, everyone was so friendly to us. It is a highly rated facility.

We chose The Waters because the staff were super friendly and the residents seemed happy when we visited. The amount of on site facilities they have is amazing, they really do offer a lot. My mom has been the happiest she has ever been since being here, it was a great choice. I would highly recommend them.

The community has been wonderful so far, it is always kept very clean and the staff members are so friendly. Our loved one only eats the evening meals and she has been very satisfied. It is taking our loved one awhile to fully adjust so she isn't participate in all the activities but what they have to offer are great. Her speech therapist and occupational therapist are really encouraging her to get out and enjoy the exercise classes, the happy hour and get to know new people.
