New Perspective Senior Living

I have been very pleased with our experience at Salida Woods. A big concern of mine going into it was hoping that my husband would get good care and he is receiving that here. The food is very good and the price is reasonable. I would highly recommend Salida Woods to others.

I have been dealing with Senior Living Facility's for over 2 decades. For various family members, friends and people I care for. I have pretty much gotten used to the system. Which I have to say, hasn't really impressed me overall. As I am very involved with the people I care for. I have a level or a bench mark that I haven't seen yet or come across. However, I have to say, where I have said to myself, "well, this IS different." Everything about the facility, THE TEAM, the STAFF, the nurses and aides have impressed me from beginning to end. The person I care for, his family members and I feel it has been a God Send and an absolute blessing. I JUST hope none of the Staff leave as I feel they have a very good chemistry and working environment that might be hard to replicate. I haven't seen it before.

I would tell others that are looking into Aberdeen Crossing that the staff here were extremely accommodating. They provided furniture and just bent over backwards for our family in our time of need. It was a positive experience and we would definitely recommend them.

I have recommended it already. It is a locked memory unit. This facility is 3 floors and the memory care is located on the first floor. The staff communicate on email with any questions and concerns for my loved one. Billing is setup with automatic payments.

Great place but we wanted a location in Wisconsin.

The staff are very helpful and nice but a lot of the residents do not want to talk. This is a very clean and well organized community and they pay great attention to the residents. They have activities like Bingo, painting, coloring and more for the residents to do to stay busy in the community. They also have an exercise program for the residents to do daily.

Great place and wonderful staff. We had to make a quick decision on placing our mom there. Tim Emmer was so helpful and went way out of his way to get things done and help us during a difficult time. The rest of the staff has had a lot of patience with my mom during the transition .

this was a good tour and community, it just did not fit into my budget.

After our tour we are super impressed with the facility and it's staff. The welcome from everyone, including residents, was amazing. The rooms are clean and spacious. The multiple activities that can be enjoyed are many and include live music, bible studies,, shopping, and special outings. They have a theater, library, and bistro to share time with others, including happy hour! They also have a barber/beautician, podiatrist, and therapists on sight. I am glad we found this new HOME for our father!

I have been an "Assisted Living" resident since January 2021, Having never lived in a facility, I had no idea what it would be like. From the beginning, I can only say, I feel like part of a family! After the first "mask" life eased and the dining room opened, it was an opportunity to appreciate everyone and everything. The Care Givers are so helpful. The staff work hard to keep things going smoothly. Our spiritual lives are important also with a variety of opportunity for both Catholics and Non-Denominations meetings. Medical/Therapy help is available too, so our personal needs are taken care of. No matter the age or needs, New Perspective should be considered first. From Vivian L Von Bergen

My grandmother has lived in the same area for 89 years. Moving across several states was not going to be without its struggles but New Perspectives was flexible and allowed us to set the space up a few days before Grandma would arrive. She walked into a new space but it was filled with all of her familiar belongings. The nursing and dining staff are personable and fun. New Perspectives was the right place for us and for Grandma.

Our family had a virtual tour and it was quite effective, they had great communication. However it came down to money and if our loved one ran out of money while living here they would of had to leave.

This is a delightful place and I would recommend you look into the community for your loved one. The friendliness, the fact they allow pets, and the community is clean all stand out to me. My friend is not happy with all the meals due to allergy restrictions. The enjoyed the chicken tenders and sweet potatoes fries meal they received one night for a meal. The community is currently not doing activities due to the pandemic.

We had a great tour experience with New Perspective. The building did look a little run down and needed some work.

We had a good tour experience with Sunrise. The facility just needed some TLC and was not the right fit for my loved one.

Our tour at Sunrise of Roseville was fine. It was a little bit of an older setting, although I don't think it was all that much older than other places we looked at. We had a good tour experience with [name removed]. Ultimately, our decision came down to location.

The community is very clean, the staff members are wonderful they have a 5+ and the meals and dining service is great. When we do have activities I really enjoy them, and overall it is just a very nice community with nice apartments.

New Perspectives is a beautiful brand new big facility. They have a big outdoor space in the middle where residents are able to hang out as long as the weather is nice. All of the rooms and common areas were large and spacious. The staff members were wonderful and very straight forward with us. Unfortunately they just did not have the capacity to handle my dad and what his needs were at the time, but it was a great place.
