New Perspective Senior Living

We chose New Perspective Long Grove because they were able to accommodate the level of care she needed in memory care and they were able to take her quickly. The facility is very clean and when we went to tour we felt more comfortable here. It is very bright and cheerful. I love the communication I get from the staff. The nursing staff is there 24/7 and there is a phone number that I have that they know and they can call. I would recommend this facility to others.

My loved one is very well taken care of; Sunrise of Roseville is an amazing place. The staff are wonderful and kind, my loved one is receiving great care. They're not perfect, as no place is, but they're as close to perfect as you can get. Any family would be blessed to have their loved one at Sunrise of Roseville.

The interaction with the staff really good. There has been, no complaints about the food. They have a lot of fun activies, such as exercising twice per week, a cooking class, movies, and a football party with snacks for games on Sunday. They take the residents to Dollar Tree once per month, so they can get things for their room. Also, my loved one can get their nails done. It's not as expensive. It's an older building, which is in a more resiedntal area, and it feels more like home. It's a very warm and welcoming community.

The team works together to ensure resident engagement. On weekends they have one of the staff as MOD (manager on duty) to organize activities and be present.

My mother spent her last 13 months of life at New Perspectives. She and I were both apprehensive about her moving there and the huge change in lifestyle that would be. Both our concerns were quickly alleviated. The friendly and caring staff made her feel welcome and safe and the friends she quickly made with other residents made her life enjoyable. As her health declined her care and attendance by the staff continued to keep her comfortable, well cared for, and respectfully groomed. We were always pleased when we came to visit and were frequently appraised of her condition between those visits. New Perspectives made my mother's final days respectful and comfortable and her family's lives far more relaxed and reassured. They were truly a blessing to us.

We really like Sunrise of Roseville and are glad we made the change. Comparatively to the other facility my mom was at, it's more all-inclusive, and we're not nickeled and dimed for every service they provide. All of her needs are met, and they do a very good job caring for her. They do their best to manage unavoidable smells. The décor is classy and nice, and the facility is very clean. It's well maintained on the outside as well.

They really take good care of the assisted living side. With activities and all events they really take a great care for the residents. It is a very good place for our loved one.

We had a wonderful tour experience with New Perspective Woodbury. It seemed like d a lovely place. The way the rooms were set up I just think my loved one would have had some issues. It was also out of our price range. Other than that it seemed like a great facility.

Our family had an in person tour and Sunrise is a beautiful beautiful facility, and the location was very convenient for us. They had a lot of different floor plans and options to choose from. However due to our loved ones health state they would not be able to take advantage of all the amenities so in the long run it was not going to be the best fit.

Overall it has been a good experience with Sunrise of Golden Valley.

Excellent caring staff make NP an easy choice.

I am very happy with the experience and thought the staff were friendly and attentive. It is a little expensive; however, I feel my loved one is well taken care of and looked after. The communication with the staff is good overall, if there are any issues that arises with my loved one.

I feel as though Sunrise is a place you'd feel good about putting someone you really love in. You will know that they'll be cared for, well fed, and they'll be happy there -and that's really hard when you put someone in a lockdown community. As a whole, they are pretty good at communication. But, for instance, last week they said my mom was acting different so they wanted to run a urine test as she might have had a bladder infection. The day they were supposed to get back to me they never called. I called and never got in touch with someone who knew the results, so I'm assuming it was negative as I'm sure they would have told me if it was not. But, I really didn't like that and I felt that they could've done better. They have a great activities director and some of their activities include a lot of bingo, they'll take them on walks around the building, and there's a secure area in the back of the building for the residents to wander without getting out. They have a machine that plays old tunes and they'll sing along to those, and they do their nails which I think is pretty cool. The person in charge will go around and they'll pick out colors, and I think that's a really nice feature that they do. They also have field trips like Sunday scenic drives, and they've seen a couple movies. They were supposed to go to a Twins game, but I believe it was too hot outside. They were supposed to go fishing that same week as well, but they couldn't because it was still too hot out. Those are some of the fun things they get to do there. I would recommend Sunrise of Golden Valley to others.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great experience this was a strong consideration. The staff members we spoke with were wonderful and the director of the place was great and even followed up with us a few times after the tour

Nothing bad to say. My 92 yr old mother was living at home, still driving and very independent until she fell down 13 steps backwards breaking her neck and two ribs. She spent her 93rd birthday in skilled nursing and I had to find an assisted living facility fast that could handle her care. I was referred to Southwest Commons and it turned out to be a godsend. Everyone I worked with was excellent and patient. Her move in day got moved up due to the skilled nursing facility releasing her early. Southwest got her room furnished and ready in a day and transported her in a snowstorm. The facility is beautiful, and my mother was very happy there. They kept her busy, she made many friends and told me she could stay there the rest of her days. The place was clean, the food was very good, and the staff was excellent. My mother has since passed but I feel good that I found a place she was comfortable in up until she passed on. I would definitely recommend Southwest Commons.

The staff were all so helpful in getting my mom placed. It took time-- several months before she moved, because she was resistant to the change. New perspective continued to call and check in, offering any guidance to help get Mom ready, not to mention so much emotional support to me!!! I feel so grateful to the team at New Perspective-- Mom is in Memory Care there, and I am thankful for the excellent care and support that she receives there!

I toured Sunrise of Roseville twice when I was first looking for places. I really liked it, but also thought it was too feminine. The community is very quaint and cutesy. My loved one needs memory care, and that was located on the second floor here - which I didn't care for. I chose another community because during the second tour Sunrise revealed how much money they wanted for their "community fee", and it was way too much for us.

Our loved one love being at The Waters, they love all the staff there. Everybody from top to bottom from management to maintenance team has gone above and beyond their daily job duties. Our loved one does not always participate in the activities but they always make an effort and always check on our loved one. When they have movie nights that always remember to bring our loved one popcorn. When it comes to the meals and dining service we have only heard a few complaints with the quality of the food.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great experience, the gentlemen who gave the tour was not pushy at all you could tell he was made for this position. However we were not able to see a two bedroom apartment and it was to pricey.

I toured New Perspective Senior Living Sun Prairie and it was like a five star hotel. The tour was excellent and the people I met were very nice and cordial. The community itself was clean and upscale. It was above and beyond everything you could imagine; and that's fine for those who still have their faculties, but my MIL (who needs memory care) wouldn't be able to use what they had to offer. It was a bit over the top for what we needed and I would rather put money into personal care, rather than chandeliers and mahogany. We chose another community because we didn't want to pay for the environment, and my MIL wouldn't be able to enjoy or take advantage of New Perspective.
