It is an exceptional facility but short staffed with staff turnover which I guess a lot of places are dealing with. To me the food is delicious. Not going to get picky. The majority of the staff is attentive and do their best to help residents. But staff/resident ratio could be better. I am grateful my brother is there. I hope he can live out his remaining days there. It really is a nice place and 99% of staff are so nice. Just need more hands on deck for the number of dementia residents. I would highly recommend Navion. Not always happy with the wait time after ringing the buzzer but probably the same everywhere.

The staff was extremely friendly. They took great care of my mom. Hope is a wonderful and caring woman who helped get my mom settled into the facility. The biggest complaint was the food. My mom called me after every meal to complain about the food. The kitchen had many dietary restrictions with the various residents. I can't really blame them.

Took the Tour. [name removed] and the team were so nice and knowledgeable. The facility was inviting, nice size rooms, and they cater to the residents. [name removed] was available to answer all my questions. He was with the nurse when she did the evaluation of my mom. He introduced himself to her and they had a conversation. It was a good experience.

Private rooms, building and property layout and appearance, visitation hours, staff (caregivers, and cooks). Activities that were offered also impacted my decision, although the outings I was told about never occurred. .Close proximity to my home.

I love the activities and take part in as many as possible. The food is very good, and I do not have to cook it. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The apartments are very nice, and I have made many friends since living here. I would highly recommend. I love sitting in the cafe and lobby and visiting with all the residents. This my favorite part about living here.

The activities could be broken down a little better. Social hour and the monthly birthday party should be separated. Residents should be better informed when a activity is canceled. Better advertising about activities would be beneficial. But besides those few issues it is a great place to live.

Food is great and environment is very friendly, Residents are always doing activities and field trips. Christmas time is extra special with celebrations every week. We also love happy hour for socializing with the residents.

For the most part it has been great. Staff is nice and easy to get along with especially the front desk employees. Activities and food are good. I have made lots of friends at Chandler Place. Would highly recommend to anyone. I love it here.

Glad some takes good care of my Mom.

Mom has been here since [year removed]. Of course there has been a few hiccups but we have been very appreciative of the staff.

Mostly very good and caring. Sometimes delay or confusion over medical bureaucracy between primary doctor and facility doctor- communication. I would recommend to others.

There were a few times where communication wasn't perfect, but overall, the staff were very kind and understanding. I don't believe any place is 100% perfect 100% of the time, but my family and I felt that The Legacy of NMB did a very good job caring for[name removed].

What we like the most about Chatham Ridge is that it is a smaller and intimate community, so the staff really get to know my mom and her family.

What we like the most about the community is the mall homey feeling. Great staff communication. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

I like most the friendliness/home-iness. Everyone is so kind and helpful. The facility is clean and bright and up to date. Things to improve on...can't really think of anything right now

My mom has been at Carolina Reserve memory care for almost 5 months. We like the bright and clean facility, great activities, and the friendly and caring staff. Many hug my mom or hold her hand when they are with her. It’s a huge improvement over some facilities mom has been in. My mom has pronounced dementia and requires more care than the average resident. Like all facilities we’ve been in, the staff shift changes and turnover allow specific care needs to fall through the cracks. Staff are always happy to help when asked but are not always proactive, so I have done significant hand holding to get mom the care she needs. Fortunately the management team has been happy to meet with us to improve oversight and follow-through of staff. I think more check lists with daily management walkthroughs follow by staff coaching when gaps are found would help this facility tremendously. I am grateful the team is so receptive to working with us.

I thought the staff was much better than community name removed]. While at there , [name removed] developed constant hematomas in her arms, which I believe were caused by rough handling and her skin so frail. The food was not good either. Northstar has a wonderful staff who took care of name removed] a lot better. She never got any hematomas in her arms. She liked the food better and her caregivers actually cared about her as a person, not as a number. If I had to have anyone in a home again, I would choose Northstar.

The people at Legacy were very nice and caring; however, Mom had innumerable falls there and multiple trips to Lexington Medical Center emergency department. I would recommend.

The food is average. There are lots of activities. The staff is caring and does a good job. They are just always busy. I would recommend The Legacy to others who are needing to find a place for their loved one.

Most of the staff and facility are wonderful. There are some things that fall through the cracks like having any medical staff at the facility on a regular basis. The activity staff is the best ever and they do a wonderful and caring job with the residents. All things considered I would recommend it to others.
