The place is overpriced. I have not had enough time there and I'm not there all the time. It is very distressing and I brought it to their attention that the water in the bathroom does not get hot or warm. She's having to take a shower in cold water. They said the temperature should be at 120 or less and I feel it is under 120. They checked the temperature and it is where it should be at.

I am very happy with Mallard Ridge. The only issue I've had is when I first moved her in I wanted the maintenance to help her hang her pictures and that never happened. Other than that she is active, she is getting three meals a day. I am really happy with the results. I am very pleased with this facility. I am so glad I made the choice to have her here.

They have been wonderful to my dad -- He has done much better since he moved in!

Really like this place. I would be very comfortable living here. The residents and staff seem wonderful and we were able to talk to both as well as go on a tour.

The facility was an excellent one and was very good to my Mom while she was here. She just passed. Thank you

Mom likes Keowee Place and that's what matters. The activities director keeps them engaged. One thing that is not good is the person who serves dinner is not very clean. He just doesn't look the part. He doesn't keep himself groomed enough. When serving food it's important to keep yourself looking professional and clean. Mom is very perceptive on cleanliness. All of the other residents feel the same way too. Overall she loves the staff and things are going well.

My father is a new resident of Morningside in Hartsville, SC. The process was easy and he seems to be enjoying being around others his own age. All the staff have been extremely helpful and the entire atmosphere is pleasant and very friendly. We couldn't be more satisfied with placing him there.

Presto House is Much nicer than the previous place my Mom was in. She is doing much better and seems happier!!

They are very nice. I would live there with no qualms, everyone is so friendly. What really impressed me too, was the cleanliness of the place, and the food was good, but they kept in touch with her, and some of the ladies she met wrote her letters, and told her they couldn't wait to see her. It's really a wonderful place.

I just think Forest Ridge did a really good job on helping my loved one adjust to the atmosphere. It is a difficult time for anyone, but my loved one ended up liking it at Forest Ridge. It was a good experience.

I think the only thing is when my loved one says she needs something, it is not looked at as quickly as she would like. Everybody has been friendly, there are activities, I am impressed with the place.

The personnel they have are extremely helpful, extremely cooperative, and extremely understanding and I cannot say anything bad about them.

I'm very pleased with the Mallard Ridge. It's real close to my house, which is convenient. I had visited several facilities and the Mallard Ridge was the best. It was also the cleanest. They do their best to take care of their patients. I would recommend this facility to anyone. It has been a really good experience. My father seems happy and comfortable here. It was a good selection. We are really pleased.

Had a short window to find an affordable, friendly, clean facility for my mother-in-law. With the Lord's help, we found all the above at the Sterling House of Rocky Mount!! All the staff have made it a wonderful experience for her in a difficult time to relocate from a family member unable to provide appropriate care. Within a very short time frame she has made friends and tells us she wins all the Bingo games and prizes during the week.. Bless her heart!

I'm real pleased with the workers there. They pay a lot of attention to my husband. They know him by his name. He is real comfortable and he likes it. I wish there was some way he can get more exercise. I feel like he's not getting as much as he should. The only negative comment I have is that I would like more attention to his personal hygiene. They do a good job at shaving his face but I would like it if they could remind him to brush his teeth.

My mom was lucky enough to reside at Summit Place for several years. The cheerful environment, opportunities for varied activities (even bus tours and outings to local restaurants!) and quality meals made it a perfect choice for her. Our FAVORITE part, though, was the caring and kind staff! Every person we interacted with provided excellent care and treated my mom, and all residents, with dignity. Our family appreciates all they did for my mom. We can never thank them enough.

It's a small facility. There is only about 40 residents. That's what attracted my mom. Because its small they are available to have more on on on time. It's like a family there. The atmosphere is really good. The management there is doing a really good job. My mother is a picky eater, so it was great to hear her talk about how good the food is. She says that their meals are unbelievable. I am very pleased with this place.

Summit Place is beautiful, leaving very little to be desired. It is comparatively new, bright and airy. Residents appeared to be happy and well cared for. I can picture myself residing there.

Tour went very well. Found this place to be bright and clean. Residents were friendly, didn't see any that were upset or unhappy. Their studio room is quite small but would work while waiting for a one bedroom apartment. Bathrooms were spacious and the walk in shower would be perfect to accommodate my Mom. The only problem I found there was they don't have high rise toilets. That is easily fixed with a commode. I was happy to see that they had a small kitchen in each unit with a refrigerator and microwave. Hallways were wide so if 2 residents in wheelchairs were in the same area at the same time they could easily pass. Also found handrails in the hallway to assist should a resident need help. Residents are encouraged to eat their meals together in the diningroom, they do not deliver meals to individual rooms which encourages ongoing socialization. Beautiful courtyard in the center where there are flowers, bird houses and feeders along with seating. Nice activity calendar and a monthly event for family members of residents. It is a smaller facility so I would assume residents wouldn't get "lost" in their population. Found them to be helpful with providing information about the possibility of a veterans benefit, hospice and therapy care. This was a very positive tour and I am encouraged to see how much nicer this facility is from what I remember from my grandmother's day in a nursing home. Because of the close proximity to my home and my brother's home, this facility will be a serious consideration as we tour the others on our list.

We're very pleased with how things have gone at Manning Place so far! The staff here are friendly and professional, and they've been absolutely great about communication. They keep us in the loop about how my loved one is doing, and they respond immediately to any questions or concerns that we bring up. Mom really seems to be doing well here!
