[name removed] My mom has been a resident of Langston Place for three years. The staff is friendly, patient, and compassionate to her and all the residents. The staff is always willing to help with every need that arises. The staff communicates well with the patient and caregivers. The chef is great and the food is wonderful. I could not have found a better place for my mom to live.

My mother is a resident of Langston Place. She initially went there for a short visit and liked it so much that she decided to stay. The staff is wonderful and just like family. They are so caring and always willing to help. I couldn't have found a better place for my mother.

This is perfect for my dad we like the size of it. I like that the care I've seen him get is good. It is very clean in here. The staff is very personable and well organized. When I call ahead of coming I'll ask if he needs anything and they will know right away if he does so they know what his needs are. They have a nice enclosed courtyard dad likes to walk around outside. The staff will bend over backwards to please my dad. I would recommend this community.

I chose this place because my mom is still very independent and lively. And I thought she'd thrive here. It is always clean and kept up and even updating areas of the community. They have a very nice and caring staff. The director [Removed] is so amazing. My moms mindset has improved so much since she got here. She always gets involved with the garden area and they took her to the greenhouse to help them one day. And she does exercises they say they can't keep up with her. The food is tasty. The grounds are well maintained. I would recommend this community.

My dad spent his last three years of life at Preston House. His health actually improved shortly after he was admitted. I believe by getting the staff medical team to adjust his meds allowed this improvement. The owner and administrators were excellent and were always available to answer questions and make corrections as necessary. The facility is always clean and I never notice any odor. The caregivers were right there when needed with loving care and attention. The food service was very good and on time every day although he really did not care to eat. I do not think daddy could have spent his last years in a better place since home was not an option.

This is a beautiful assisted living community and the staff did a wonderful job showing me around and they answered all my question. Unfortunately, my mother would need a memory care which they do not have. I would recommend you take a tour if you are looking for an assisted living community.

The staff are doing a good job at this community. They are helpful and attentive. They offer good food and a good variety of choices. They always have fruit available. They offer a large variety of activities including daily exercise class, singalongs, bingo and ring toss. They keep the community clean and I would recommend it.

The food at this community is very good and they offer a variety of healthy choices. They have a very good activities program. The housekeeping staff are good. They take good care of my loved one. They react well and have good interaction with her. This community is in a good location for us. They fit her needs and I would recommend this community.

Dad has started making friends at Kerner Ridge. The food is good and it is served in a timely manner. The staff are attentive and we are always able to find someone to help us or answer a question. They offer daily activities and they encourage him to participate. This community is kept clean and we also liked that it is a smaller community. I would recommend this community.

Brookdale is a nice place.The nurses are very friendly. We unfortunately have to move my loved one because he needs more physical therapy.It's a lovely community but just wasn't a good fit for us.

I have noticed that every time we visit mom's room is clean and she is well cared for. She does participate in some of the daily activities. The food looks fine and they offer three snacks a day as well as meals. This community offers good care and it is priced right for us.

This community reminded me of a resort when I toured it. They offered some nice amenities and daily activities. They do charge for any extra services your loved one might need such as assistance with their medication. The rooms at this community were a little smaller than at the community we chose. This community does not accept medicaid.

My 91 year old mother has been at Kerner Ridge for two months. The reason Mom is there is because she has had several falls and has broken a few bones. Although her doctors and therapists have advised that she is not safe to live alone, she is still hoping to go back to her home some day. With all that being said, she is reasonably happy in her "temporary" home except for the food. The food is not what she has been use to making at home. They don't have healthy salads, and they serve a lot of pasta and breaded meat and vegetables, which are foods Mom never ate. It's hard for her to not have control of the food she eats. Overall, the staff has been wonderful, very attentive, friendly, caring, and kind. Mom and I have both enjoyed the musical entertainment and the various groups that come. I feel that my mom is getting excellent care at Kerner Ridge, and I am very happy she is there.

So far everything seems to be fine. We have only been there a few days. Do not know why they are requesting this review so soon. Staff very nice and courteous. The home very updated and clean. The food seems to be pretty good as well.

This is a review based on about 10 days of service -- and so far, so good. This Assisted Living memory care unit is for people with dementia but few other diseases/conditions. Each resident has a private room, which is wonderful. Cable tv is available in the room (extra cost) and there is enough room to bring a favorite recliner, end table, bookcase etc. The rooms are not big but comfortable and there is a large private half bath. There is a community shower/bath room and residents are taken there either 2 or 3 times a week, and the room is not left unattended. Everything is very clean and so far it has never smelled of "bodily fluids". The layout is simple: rooms around the perimeter, with two center areas -- a living room and a dining area. There is room for twenty residents. This arrangement is repeated twice -- one for all women, the other for men and quiet women (I'm not making this up). Dietary needs do not seem to be a problem. The kitchen provides three meals a day and three snacks. I think most of the meals are prepared on site but not sure -- the kitchen is very small. The snacks are small packaged items such as teddy grahams or pudding. All straightforward, and popular with the residents. The activities are also basic. Popcorn and a movie on TV, maybe someone coming in to play the piano for 30 minutes, bible study, etc. I was attracted to The Haven with the elaborate activities, larger outdoor areas, ice cream parlor, field trips, etc, but it was overwhelming for my parents and they reacted much better to the humbler settings at Preston House. Staff is friendly and seems to genuinely appreciate questions and participation from family. The management was matter of fact about a lot of my questions and this place is too small to have sales staff, marketing strategies and so on. I very much appreciated this, it was hard for me to go through the process emotionally. the caregivers seem to know what they are doing. I saw one who needed to prod a resident to take a shower, and she was insistent but not in any way unpleasant, either physically or verbally. The monthly fee is composed of a base rate plus an add-on depending on the level of care needed. They were able to work with me on this, which was also tremendously appreciated. Also, many things were already included. Extras are: incontinence supplies (wipes and depends), medicines, podiatry services (manicures included), hair cuts, and transportation services (such as to the doctor's). Yesterday I took dad to the doctor's and the look on his face when he went back to Preston House was one of coming home. I feel very blessed that this place was available.

Dalton Place is an amazing facility ! We are extremely pleased with the care and attention that has been given to our Mother. The Administrators, the staff, the chef....everyone that works there is absolutely wonderful. They have worked diligently with us to ensure that all of our Mothers needs are met. This is not a facility that takes their mission lightly....they have made many changes for us that have helped our Mother adapt to her new surroundings. This very emotional and difficult decision for our family was made so much easier because of the love and support given by everyone there !! In addition....the facilities are beautiful....spotlessly clean. The grounds are well kept and safe. The food is amazing, the activities for the seniors are well coordinated and the caring staff is beyond anything we have ever seen! Truly a blessing !

After living in another facility, this place has won my heart. We have lots of fun, activities, and the apartment I live in very well kept. You could not ask for any better food. I am able to keep my dog with me, also! The staff and all the people in charge here are GREAT. You couldn't ask for better. The people who live here are very friendly.

I toured several places before placing my Mom. It WAS one of the hardest thing I ever had to do. But as soon as we toured Brookdale my Mom fit right in. This was the only one she did act more like her self. she has been here about 2 months and doing great. she is called the social butterfly, she loves the ladies in her memory care .she interacts with everyone and loves to dance to her some Elvis. she is really doing great and every one is so nice and attentive to every thing.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Northstar Place, they do a great job! My loved one is in their memory care wing, and the staff there is magnificent. They're really wonderful people! All of the memory care residents are constantly being watched over, and all of their needs are being met. They have a nice variety of activities for them as well! We're just very pleased with his care, overall!
