When we realized we could no longer take care of my dad at home because of his dementia we started looking for a secure place for him to live. The management worked with us, answered all our questions, and put all our fears to rest. This was one of the hardest decisions we ever had to make, but not only does the staff take excellent care of dad they took a personal interest in our family. We have an open line of communication with the staff & management. We are truly treated like family. We couldn't ask for more.

This community has gone beyond our expectations in their care for our mother. I have not seen my mother so content in many years. She is taking part in the activities and on the field trips she has helped the needy kids pick-out school supplies, she helped a friend find a watch. The community is beautiful, clean and welcoming.

I am so pleased we found this community it was a such a good choice. My dad is very happy there he really likes it. The location is just perfect for people to visit. The staff is wonderful very friendly they take their time with the residents and families they are very interactive with the residents. The food is fine here. I really have the piece of mind knowing that he is here and he is being taken care so well.

We are very happy with care of my father. The staff has been very good to him. We have been happy that he likes the care and the menu of healthy meals. They offered him to participate in activities. We would recommend this clean and nice environment for other families for the care of a loved one.

My mom is having a bit of transition problem at Brookdale W. Arlington Boulevard but the staff is doing all they can to help her with her move there. My mother is not much for socializing but the staff does encourage her and they make sure that she comes down for her meals in the dining area. So they are very aware of her individual needs and interactions with others which is nice. I would recommend Brookdale W. Arlington Boulevard and they are very good at working with dementia care.

Nice clean facility.. when I walked in there was no "smell" like so many other places I've visited... just clean and homey and a kind staff

The staff were great about welcoming dad by name and helping to integrate him into some activities. They are not able to have bed rails on the beds. The coordinator has been extremely helpful. When you walk into the community it feels very welcoming. This is a beautiful smaller community. They are very accommodating and dad seems to like the food. This community will accept medicaid after a year of private pay. This community is affordable and I would recommend taking a look at it.

I'am comfortable with my mothers move to this community. She is doing well, and they are taking good care of her, and her needs. They have a lovely staff, and they have been attentive towards my mother, and her needs. Her room is well-kept when I come to visit. They do a good job with the cleanliness around the facility as well. The receptionist is very kind, and friendly. All my concerns have been handle with a quick respond. They have been accommodating to my mother, and I . This is a community I would recommend overall. It is working out well for my family.

Very Clean and very helpful. There didn't seem to be a lot of activity among the residents. The activity room was neat and they had a lot of options of things to do, just didn't see too many residents. Great location!!!

We love that Helena Place is a small community with just over 30 residents. Our 94 year old aunt is very comfortable there. The staff is caring and friendly.

My father is no longer at Northlake, but we had a good experience with them. We were not used to the Alzheimer and dementia unit, and it was a little difficult for my father because at the time, he was fine so he was overwhelmed with other patients behavior. It was nothing against the place or the staff. They were all kind and professional and the people in the front office were great. They all did everything they could to keep my father comfortable. It is a good place, the facility was just excellent. They were taking care of medications and ordered him what he needed.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and I could have not picked a better place for her to go. The staff are excellent from the front door to the back door. I was pleased to see that even with her health she is getting out and enjoying some of the outings they have going and enjoying the social environment. The are making sure she is eating and getting her medication on time so It has given me an overall peace of mind.

I am happy the staff at this community, we like the cleanliness of the community. The menu is very good and a nice variety. The environment is great and I like how this community makes my mom feel at home. They left us to participate in an activity with the other residents when we toured and that made my mom very happy. I would recommend this community for the outstanding care and value.

I LIKE THE COMMUNITY AND THE STAFF WHO ARE CARING AND ATTENTIVE. tHE MENU IS APPEALING AND NEEDS SOME SMALL IMPROVEMENTS. I LIKE THAT SHE IS ACTIVE WITH THE OTHER RESIDENTS AND KEEPING ACTIVE. I like the care that my father is receiving at this community. The staff is nice and very attentive to my father's needs. The community is clean with a nice atmosphere. The menu offers a good variety of healthy meals. They do offer the residents to be involved with the activities that are offered to keep active I would recommend this community for the good care and the value of care to others.

The Havens is a beautiful home for loved ones who need some assistance. The rooms are spacious and can be decorated to suit the resident. The staff is wonderful-friendly, caring, helpful, and seem to truly enjoy their jobs. They treat the residents like family. It is clean and well-maintained indoors and out. There is a courtyard and there are sidewalks for strolling around the building. The meals are very good. Because of dietary restrictions and sensitive systems, there is not a lot of salt or heavy seasonings, but I have found with a little salt and pepper everything is delicious. There is PT onsite as well as monthly visits onsite by a local physician. A podiatrist comes every other month. There is a little beauty shop. It really feels like an apartment complex more than an assisted living facility. I hope when I reach the point in my life where living at home is no longer a safe option that I will be able to find a place like this for myself. Our family has no complaints with the care our loved one is receiving at The Havens.

This is a nice community. We like staff who are attentive and respectful. The community is clean. and a nice atmosphere. We liked knowing that she is now getting involved with the other residents in the activities. We were happy to know that they were able to meet her special diet needs. This location is close to us so that we can visit more often. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one for the good care and the nice value.
