[Name Removed] was an excellent spokesperson and tour guide. We learned a lot about Helena Square and the many activities for residents. We even met a few residents who were warm and friendly. My mother felt very comfortable with the people and the facility. It's a shame nothing is available at this time.

Felt very welcoming! Extremely clean, lots of group communal spaces. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Know this senior living facility has many outside activities. My mother lived there in [Date Removed] when it was new (named Sterling House) and so nice - I was anxious to see how property itself has aged and it gets an A+. The efficient studio apartment like she had did look very small 27 years later - like it had shrunk, although I have already downsized from a large 5 bedroom home to a 2-bedroom large apartment. I was sorry that no one pointed out the posted menus and that I had not asked more about the food. The white tablecloths in dining room is a very nice touch! Thanks for a lovely tour! Very expensive for Shelby for this retired professor or I would be packing now to move in!

Staff seem genuinely caring and professional. Always willing to step outside their specific responsibility to find the help you need. Also, accommodations are modern (but Colonial) and attractive. Clean and tidy

The staff of this place is very kind and attentive and professional. They do an amazing job keeping up with my mother‘s medication‘s and her needs. The food could be better. But all in all it’s still pretty good.

My siblings and I visited Pinewood Square recently and it was a great experience. The staff was very welcoming and inviting for a "drop in" tour. The place smelled great and was clean. The people living there looked well cared for and appeared to be happy and comfortable. There was lots of laughter and smiles going on. You could tell right away the staff was good to the patients and treated them like family. We felt very comfortable while there.

Staff are very nice but need more hands on deck. Wait time too long responding to call button.

Loved [name removed], however unfortunately my relative was not accepted due to urostomy bag. That is all, thank you for the wonderful visit.

Facility and staff are very attentive and courteous. Actively work to encourage residents to participate in activities and events whenever possible.

Our family was looking for an assisted living program for our brother. We spoke with [name removed] and [name removed]. We were very impressed and have place him in their care.

I would like to applaud the staff of Cypress Square, especially [name removed], as she went above and beyond in assisting me with the process of finding the right facility for my ailing father. She was a constant and compassionate resource! The facility its self is very clean, the staff is inviting and friendly and I would highly recommend Cypress Square to anyone who is looking for a place for Mom or Dad!

I recently toured this facility and truly liked it and found it very welcoming. The only reason I didn’t move my mom there was because we would have been moving her to a different state and logistically it didn’t work for us.

As the child of a father requiring a nursing home facility, I was anxious about the care he would receive at any facility. It wasn't long before any worries vanquished. I was quite pleased with the staffing, from the helpful maintenance people, the always smiling dietary people, the fantastic nursing staff and of course the administration staff who made the whole process easy. I would recommend the facility to anyone needing a trustworthy facility for their loved ones.

Staff is very accommodating and everyone is very friendly. I feel very safe and connected. There is no limitations on my ability to grow or be involved in this or the wider community. We are in independent living so we don't experience care directly. But it is comforting to know that the staff is looking out for you. There our lot of opportunities for a wide variety of activities. My interest are more intellectual and physical. My wife's interest are more social and we are both happy. The food is good, but not gourmet. I find that being served helps me manage my weight. But there is Always more if you want it. The only discipline I need to bring is with desert.

Numbers 1-6 are 5. Number 7 based on what's offered and the appearance of the residents looking happy and engaged would be a 5--I am not able to rate on my father in law's participation in and satisfaction with the activities because he has not joined in on any of activities except one outing to a seafood restaurant that he said he enjoyed. He has been extremely reluctant to join in for whatever reason. 8. The value 4 with the explanation of he does not seem to be utilizing a lot of the services offered. And some of the services that we would like border additional cost services and are more assistance needed services so hard to evaluate. We are still assessing what the true need is. Overall, we are pleased with our choice. The staff is very warm and friendly. The facility is clean and welcoming. The front porch is a popular social gathering spot for the residents. They seem to really enjoy the space

Colonial Gardens is one of the better facilities in the Columbia area. The place is always clean and the staff is always very helpful and accommodating. The young man, [Name Removed] who does activities with the residents is one of the best I have seen. He shows genuine compassion and interest in the residents and seems to love his role.

Our loved one has received wonderful care at this facility. Staff was so helpful in guiding us through the initial admissions process. The staff has done their best to treat our family member lovingly with prompt attention as needed. McArthur Manor has a family-like atmosphere with fun activities and employees that truly care about the residents. The lead nurse (Nursing Department) is always available to answer any questions and help with health concerns. If she is busy, she is prompt to return your phone calls. We feel secure our family member is receiving excellent care. We highly recommend McArthur Manor! David & Yvonne
