Our family looked at several facilities in the Beaufort area. Many were suitable but Helena Square seemed special. Smaller, more intimate, and a genuine family atmosphere. The staff is excellent. Happy we were able to find a wonderful second home.

My 90year old mom is happily adjusting to community living at Helena Square after living alone in a large home with a large yard as a widow for over 10 years. When she broke her leg this past May, and after spending some time in rehab in Georgia, it seemed the right thing for her to transition back to Beaufort County where she spent the first 70 years of her life and could receive good care near family and friends. Mom enjoys having a wonderful chef for 3 meals a day and staff nearby on call 24/7 should a need arise for help. It was a great choice for her.

The staff are caring, the facility is clean and my mom felt safe there. I’m glad we found this place. A step above the other options we considered. The location can’t be beat, right in downtown Port Royal, next to the cypress wetlands and restaurants etc. The courtyard is beautiful and they’re pet friendly, so she could bring her cat, which made the transition so much easier.

The staff was very helpful. My loved one is enjoying herself at the community. [name removed] was very helpful in answering some questions I had. I like that they partner with church services for the people living there.

The staff is nice the residents truly appreciate all the help provided, food quality is a 10/10. Staff is well informed and educated about the task they have at hand. From outings and indoor events they all have a great time here

My mother was reluctant to move into an assisted living facility. When we toured and had lunch at Helena Square, my mom meant so many wonderful people. Almost immediately she felt at home and knew Helena Square was her place. We set up her apartment to feel like home, bringing all the things she loves. She is so happy!

While trying to help my elderly neighbors navigate their challenges, I have experienced nothing but good vibes from this community and everyone involved. Legacy of Lexington has a welcoming comfortable family feel, like home. I only wish my neighbors had decided to make the move rather than struggle at home.

The Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Most residents are very pleasant people. Some junior high drama.

5+++ for everything! We love Northstar! All Admin and support personnel are amazing and so good with the residents. The food is amazing and Dawn does a wonderful job with activities to keep them busy!

We toured with the sales director, Lewis. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We definitely felt at home while visiting the Legacy. I trust that the Legacy will be a good fit for dad when the time is right.

For us that is easy. They are 5 on everything. My Mom has loved it there. The staff is great. They go above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable and at home. They have activities every single day. Mom has something to do everyday. She says the food is excellent.

Excellent service from all staff and Administration. Very respectful, friendly and engaging to all residents. Prompt reporting, preparation for upcoming activities/events and any issues that need to be discussed. The activities are varied, consistent and well attended due to staff encouragement with residents. The dining experience is fresh and creative in atmosphere. The food has plenty of selection and options with quality products and preparation. The facilities are well maintained, clean with updated furnishings and consistent improvements. This is a five star facility and program in every way. Our family member is very happy here. So glad we made this choice.

Dublin Place's staff is very interactive with residents, they are hands on and engaged based upon the needs of the residents. They keep the family and informed about the wellbeing of their loved ones and of center activities.

Have been so much more relaxed since mom is at Cypress Square. I feel that if I'm not at the facility she will be well taken care of. If I need to go out of town or have something to do when I am not available I feel comfortable.

This small community impressed me. There is a friendly atmosphere among the residents. As soon as I walked in the door, I was welcomed by several staff, the executive director, and the full-time nurse. The community felt like home to me. Some of the staff have been there for 8, 9, 10 years, and they provide 24 hour care. A nurse told me the facility partners with physical therapists, physicians, and a pharmacy to ensure residents are well-cared for. Having found the perfect place for my mother, we look forward to her moving to the Beaufort area soon!

Ask all of the questions you can think of. Visit before you sign the deal. Your staff is great and deserves accolades. They have always been kind and respectful and treated my father with compassion and a smile. I would recommend.

Everyone here is so caring and the staff communicates with family so effectively. They truly care for my loved one. My loved one is so satisfied here and never bored. Additionally the food is excellent with lots of variety.

The staff is friendly and helpful at all times. I’m enjoying the activities with the residents. The food is delicious. I have all I need for independent living with assistance when I need help. A home school family even fill our bird feeders!
