From my initial phone call and then touring the facility I have been so impressed with every aspect of Langston Place. The residents are happy, the staff is phenomenal and the management is TOP NOTCH!

They we're kind, but very pushy in sales. Plus the facility needed updating, was dark and drab. The residents were in their rooms or clearly unhappy. On top of all of that, they were considerably more expensive.

We have had an excellent experience at The Legacy. My mother was not wanting to make this move. The staff have made her feel welcome and safe, they are approachable, and have done their best to make her feel like this can be her home.

What we really like about this community is the location, and mom seems to be happier than in her previous facility. Based on our experience so far we would recommend them to other families.

They taught my mother how to "assist". Before she was just lying in the bad doing nothing. Now she is taking small steps with her walker. She can wheel herself around in the wheelchair (she couldn't do that before) she loves the dining room and her new friends there. I don't see where they can improve at. Maybe not lock the apartment doors at night time because of a fire hazard.

It is very welcoming, clean and my loved one absolutely loves living here.

We liked the community. It was more than we wanted to spend.

I would recommend you check the community out to see if it is a good fit for your loved one. We have been pleased with the community overall. There have been times that some of my loved one's belongings have gone missing; however, the community was able to find the missing items. My loved one doesn't always care for the food offered. There are three meals a day served to the residents plus two snacks. My loved one is safe and well cared for here. The community has hospice available on site for the residents that need it. This has been a terrific bonus for my loved one and family, as there are extra services for my loved one available.

My sister never actually moved in. Her care was going to be nearly [fee removed] per month. [name removed] is TOP NOTCH! She is a wonderful, caring, loving person who went above and beyond to try to accommodate to get my sister placed. At the last minute, a family member (her ex husband) took my sister to live with him and is caring for her to the best of his ability along with hospice. In my heart, I believe Pinewood would have been a wonderful placement. The facility is clean, homey and friendly.

I toured this facility and it was nice but expensive.

[name removed] who helped us in the beginning with the paperwork was so great to work with, she was very understanding out of situation and was more then willing to answer any questions we had and anytime we would call we would get immediate responses. [name removed] who is in charge of all the nurses has been just amazing to deal with. Everyone there has done amazing work. Right when you walk into the community its so bright, clean, and no odors. You can tell they do a good job with the upkeeping of the community, it is just very inviting. The food is really good and always smells good when we come to visit. We have been very impressed and we would absolutely recommend The Legacy at Southpointe Drive community to other families.

I toured this community and it was beautiful! Very nice, 5 star facility. The price was comparable to others in the area, it was nice and clean, and the residents seemed very happy here.

I toured this facility and it was very nice. Everything seemed good here and looked very nice. However, the pricing was a little different than most that I toured in the area. They have a monthly room price and also a separate level of care monthly price, most that I toured were a lower monthly cost compared to this facility. But it seemed very nice and if I could have afforded it, it would have been one of my top choices for my loved one!

My parents are very happy here, which says a lot to me. This facility is great. It's a warm environment, beautiful and clean, and there are always activities going on. Everyone has been extremely friendly and most of the residents seem very happy here. The food is good, good quality and variety. My parents have mentioned, several times, how much food is offered here. They also have a good variety of activities: a lady from the zoo has brought animals in, they took a trip to the Butterfly Museum, performers coming in to sing, and regular in house activities as well. They do offer transportation, but that could improve. It's sometimes hard to schedule/coordinate and I think that's due to availability and only having one driver. Housekeeping is done often and things are always neat and tidy. Laundry is done once a week and is always returned to the residents the next day. Communication with the family is very good. We were impressed with this facility from the very beginning when we arrived for our tour. In fact, my husband even asked me if I wanted/needed to tour the place because it felt so nice from the very beginning when we walked in. It's a great place! I would absolutely strongly recommend this facility to family and friends.
