Mustang Creek Estates

The staff was very nice and I truly believe they cared a great deal for my mom however mom was on a no salt diet and I don’t think they were equipped to follow that type of diet. During her short stay there they were having staffing issues so there was no activity director as well as no TV in the living areas for most of her stay. If they take care of a few things I believe they could be a great option in the Frisco area

What we like the most about Mustang Creek is that the facility is like a house with 14 private bedrooms/bathrooms. The closeness of the care givers in the one house so they get to know each resident personally. The administration is very accessible to each resident and their family members.

It's a tie, the staff facility are both a 10! Yes, we would recommend Mustang Creek Estates Flower Mound to other families based on the experience so far.

While you never want to be away from your loved one, the house manager and most of the staff are loving and competent. The food is homemade and the environment is inviting. The rooms are a bit small and cleanliness could be better.

I would say that the facility is always clean and is bright. It doesn't feel like a facility and has a homey feel. The staff at times aren't the best, but the house managers are wonderful. She is always clean, dressed, and up when I visit. She cannot move by herself so she has to rely on staff to move her from the bed to her chair. It's definitely the best place we could find based on her price point. I was frustrated that they raised rates almost [fee removed] dollars a month after she moved in. But it still feels like the best priced option for her given her needs. She recently had family come to see her and they were very pleased with the appearance of the facility and the staff caring for her. So that was nice to have another opinion.

Admin team is very cheerful and helpful. Quick to respond to issues. Quite understanding that all seniors are not in the same place mentally and that aging gracefully without having to go to mental care is an option. I like the "all in" cost structure where all care and services are combined into monthly rent. Many places "nickel and dime" you to death. Apartments are really nice size and orientation for comfortable living space and feeling of some independence. Central kitchen and dining area in each building creates homey feel, which is nice. Just wish they had more activities to keep residents active.

Very clean and 90% of staff is nice. The room is a little small but the bathroom is roomy. They have not really been great about explaining everything. There are activities at one of the houses daily but not every house. They don't move people house to house like they say they will. Overall a good place. The staff that is good are the best. I could not ask for someone more caring.

I liked Mustang Creek. Mom was only there six days, but it was long enough to know that the management and staff were terrific; always helpful and kind.

The environment is extremely homey! They have many different room sizes available based off of what you loved one needs.

Our main concern is there have been problems with the medication being given correctly. There are new staff so that will probably improve. She complains about food - too many starch and they run out of things. It always looks good to me though.

She likes everything except the food is bad (she says 3 out of ten and cold usually) and too many folks are non mobile/non interactive vegetables... Overall I'd say four out of five stars.

We like the small group feel of the individual buildings. And the activity director is so friendly. There are a ton of activity opportunities.

I would recommend. The main thing I like is that it's small houses, so more intimate, rather than an enormous building where it might be more intimidating for an elderly person. We have been happy with Mustang Creek. I think they are taking decent care of mom. Communication could be better

Your company was a great help for me in finding a place for my mom.. The overall experience was good. The facility you found and we selected has been a great facility. My mom has really liked the location. Yes I would recommend this community to other families. They have been good to work with

I have a loved one who is currently a resident. He seems very happy with the facility. The team is caring of the residents. They keep the facility clean and make delicious meals daily! If you need to find a place that feels like home, this is a great place to start.

We are happy with Mustang Creek. My father in law appears to like the food. Apartment is a little small. The facility is clean. Staff are nice and patient to me and my husband.

Experience in block A has been stellar. Block B has been met with some difficulty in making sure bed sores didn't worsen and linens/diapers were regularly changed. Staff has been kind and engaged. Very helpful.

What we like the most about the community is the area and the people so far. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

They assigned my Mom to a house and later got a complaint from [name removed] stating that my Mom really needed more care than she thought, wanted me to change her to another house, we can afford to pay more right now and she hadn't even really allowed proper time for my Mom to acclimate to new surroundings, Mom is finally beginning to visit with other residents and make friends so really do not want to move her again especially as she has dementia and I feel moving here would not be beneficial, my Mom's hospice nurse feels she doesn't need to move right now. Also feel it is not my problem that they didn't evaluate her properly before determining what house she needed to be in especially when there is a difference in monthly charges, they need to do a better job on initial placement

Staff has been very helpful and kind. Activities are great!! Mom says food is good.
