The marketing agent Amanda is warm and before we even went on the tour we were talking about my moms needs. The entire staff do a very good job making sure my mom is cared for. I would give the food a 5. She participates in some of the activities offered. The housekeeping staff do a good job overall. I would definitely recommend Morningside House.

The staff here is very helpful and accommodating. They are also very patient and compassionate with the residents. The facility itself is always clean when I visit. There is a family atmosphere here and they know the residents and their families by name.

My father has been at Morningside House of Laurel since June 2015. It is very personable. During my visits I notice many of the staff know my father by name and know some of his habits and interests. The staff are problem solving oriented. Whether you ask a director or a staff employee you see on the elevator, they often take it upon themselves to try and resolve any concerns you have. They are responsive whether it be email or telephone. They have a concierge that is very helpful to residents and their families. Often times when I am visiting my father, they'll knock on the door to inform him it is meal time and sometimes will ask him why he isn't eating for example unaware that I may be taking him out to eat. The 1 or 2 times I've spent the night I have observed that they'll knock on the door than come in at night to administer a prescription or check on him, etc. so it seems to be thorough. They take pride in their social activities and encourage residents to participate. My father likes their music programs alot.

I think they do a very good job overall at Morningside House of Leesburg. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly and professional. We are very satisfied with the service, and I'd give them high marks across the board.

My husband has adjusted very well to the community at Sunrise. The staff has been wonderful with helping him make the transition from life at home with me to living there. I visit quite often, but he seems so well adjusted, I don't feel that I have to in order for him to be happy. All his questions are answered, his needs are met & he is always redirected to other activities if he becomes restless. The care workers are thoughtful, considerate & respectful in caring for my husband. It was extremely difficult to leave him in someone else's care. I was sure he was the "one" who would not adjust, but I am so happy that I was proven wrong.

The care my Mother received at Sunrise while we were away was wonderful. They answered all our concerns whenever we called to check on her. When she fell, they called us right away, luckily her injury was not serious. The staff helped her call us when she wanted to speak to us. The staff seemed very caring and concerned with her daily living needs.

It's going pretty well. They are being attentive to her needs, but the transition is difficult. They seem to keep everything pretty clean, and I haven't had any comments or complaints about the food. They offer activities, and some variety, but it's still a rough transition. I think Morningside is doing a good job though.

I researched many Assisted Living facilities and by far Morningside House impressed me the most. I was especially impressed with Amanda Owens. She is very knowledgeable about Morningside House and besides that she is extremely caring about everyone that resides in this facility. My cousin will be residing there as soon as he gets out of the Rehab Facility in Bowie, MD. Overall I believe I made the right decision in picking Morningside House the moment you walk into this facility the front desk person - her name is Renee - is very friendly and nice and the Administrator Brandon Queen is exceptional to work with. Thank you for this opportunity to express my views regarding Morningside House.

A moment in need has us reviewing various living arrangements for my 90 year old grandmother. Morningside House of Leesburg feels homey (not sterile), It offers activities, some medical care, hot meals, family events, clean facility and more. Moving to assisted living was a difficult decision (but necessary) for us to make but Morningside House made it easier. I am confident that my grandmother interacts with her contemporaries and she is well cared for in a safe and pleasant environment. This allows me not to worry and to enjoy our visits.

From the very first contact I had with Beth, the staff at Morningside House was friendly, helpful, and supportive. I was out of state when I began my search for a facility for my parents so everything was being done through e-mail and phone. My parents are now settled in their new home and are both very happy. They enjoy the good food and the conscientious caring of the nurses and aides. I am confident that they will be well taken care of.

I liked this community. It was clean. The staff was very friendly, the director, Cindy, calls on a regular basis. The activities and care services offered were great. I also felt that the value of what is offered and the price they quoted me was fair. My main concern is that when a tour is arranged, they are prepared for that visitor, so I don’t have a real idea of what the community is like on a day to day basis.

All of the staff here have been very friendly, and very helpful. They are great at communicating and making sure I stay updated with my loved ones condition, which is good since I am located out of state. I really appreciate that they were willing to do a more in-depth assessment of my Mom and work with her to keep her in the assisted living as opposed to the memory care section, as I feel she would not have gotten the socialization she needs in memory care.

Toured here in search of a place for our Aunt. (CA March 2013). We liked the facility and the staff. We thought it had a nice feel and could definitely have seen our Aunt here. The price for the area $4K+ we thought was pretty reasonable. We chose another facility further west of Leesburg that we would have used had GA not made more fiscal sense. This was our second choice for this area - just didn't look forward to driving east on Rte 7 into Leesburg. Wife (nurse) got all the right answers. When asked about turnover - lady was honest and admitted higher than they'd like - but that seems to be the norm in this field - CNAs nor nurses just don't get paid enough!

It was very nice, but it just didn't give us quite the same feeling as Meadow Glen. It was a multi-level and everybody was ncie I just felt the employees there weren't quite as happy, it just seemed a little more institutional or something. I mean, the woman we talked to was as nice as she could be, it was a lovely place, it was clean, it just didn't give us the same warm and fuzzy feeling.

The Sunrise staff was very receptive and eager to do business. My father is still adjusting as he just recently moved in. Please be advised the "Value" and "Activities" categories pre-fill but right now we do not have enough experience to acurately rate those two categories.

The most positive things were the extra care from the Administrative staff, especially when things rapidly declined with my mother. The communication was really good and they really took care of mom. The more negative thing that's stood out was that there is sometimes a break in communication between staff leads, nurses, medicine givers, and later hospice; and between daytime and evening staff.

Staff is caring, and the food and activities are plentiful. Room cleaning could be a little better. Our experience with administration to hourly staff is always positive. We recommend Morningside to anyone searching for assisted living.

When the director gave me a tour she knew all the residents names. I would recommend Morningside. My loved one and I feel he is safe, which was my biggest concern when looking at locations.

Chose them because of location. Need to upgrade door locks to apartments. I would recommend.

Staff, from director to nursing/med techs, front desk/concierge. All very pleasant and willing to help. Atmosphere: Residents seem to want to be there. Smiling, chatting. It's bright, very clean. All from my perspective anyways. Not sure my folks feel the same way, but they're cared for and that's important.
