Morningside Elite Management

It was very nice, but it just didn't give us quite the same feeling as Meadow Glen. It was a multi-level and everybody was ncie I just felt the employees there weren't quite as happy, it just seemed a little more institutional or something. I mean, the woman we talked to was as nice as she could be, it was a lovely place, it was clean, it just didn't give us the same warm and fuzzy feeling.

The Sunrise staff was very receptive and eager to do business. My father is still adjusting as he just recently moved in. Please be advised the "Value" and "Activities" categories pre-fill but right now we do not have enough experience to acurately rate those two categories.

The only feedback I have is about the food. It could be better.

Friendly community, the coordinator was very enthusiastic. Residents looked happy. And the staff answered my questions professionally.

My relative shares a room. It would be nicer if he had a little more room but I don't think he cares. Food is very good, activities are fun and stimulating, senior staff is very responsive as is most staff. However my cousin was given a walker, was not monitored and fell he suffered a hip fracture and underwent surgery and quite a bit of manful rehab. I think the facility is well kept generally. I have Concerns though now that it's Changing hands.

Room is a nice size and is very well kept. They do a lot of activities and rides to Valley Forge. My mom likes it. I have not eaten at the facilities but the food looks very good. The staff is friendly every time I visit and they do keep me updated.

Our experience has been very positive from the beginning. The team was welcoming, compassionate, and helpful throughout the entire transition. The move-in process was straightforward, communication was excellent, and the staff provided support every step of the way. Since then, we've found the staff to be attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. Questions and concerns are addressed with patience and professionalism, and it's reassuring to know our loved one is receiving thoughtful, quality care. Overall, we are very pleased with the care, communication, and support we've received and would confidently recommend this community to others.

The most positive things were the extra care from the Administrative staff, especially when things rapidly declined with my mother. The communication was really good and they really took care of mom. The more negative thing that's stood out was that there is sometimes a break in communication between staff leads, nurses, medicine givers, and later hospice; and between daytime and evening staff.

Staff is caring, and the food and activities are plentiful. Room cleaning could be a little better. Our experience with administration to hourly staff is always positive. We recommend Morningside to anyone searching for assisted living.

When the director gave me a tour she knew all the residents names. I would recommend Morningside. My loved one and I feel he is safe, which was my biggest concern when looking at locations.

Chose them because of location. Need to upgrade door locks to apartments. I would recommend.

Staff, from director to nursing/med techs, front desk/concierge. All very pleasant and willing to help. Atmosphere: Residents seem to want to be there. Smiling, chatting. It's bright, very clean. All from my perspective anyways. Not sure my folks feel the same way, but they're cared for and that's important.

First, this is a very hard job and everyone who works here has a special heart to do what they do. I have found staff to be competent, friendly, and respectful-especially sometimes when clients can be 'challenging'. [names removed] are wonderful with the social aspect of Morningside. Keeping people active, socially engaged, and motivated makes this place unique among other places I've visited. Medically, although doctors are not continuously present [name removed] and staff do a great job, being very responsive to every need that arises. Dining room staff knows everyone and caters to their preferences and diet. [name removed] has been wonderful. [name removed] in housekeeping is a great find. She has a really difficult job and is probably the most positive person in this place. The negatives a few, but I need to add my mom's situation here now. Without specifics, mom is declining in health and cognition. Even with more assistance her needs are changing from when she entered Morningside last year. Some of the following doesn't pertain to mom right now. The menu choices are very minimal, other than basic every day items. As people eat here all the time, variation would be welcome. It seems staffing has its difficulties. I do notice laundry, possibly bathing, do not always follow schedules. With that said, my mom is always dressed well and her apartment is clean. Also weekend staff and weekday staff seem to SOMETIMES vary in quality of care. I believe this may be a staffing challenge. Front area ([names removed] etc) are ALL great. Overall, very pleased that mom is in Morningside.

The facility is currently being "refreshed," which means lots of noise as floor is taken up and lots of dust. This detracted somewhat from our visit, since it was not possible to see the place as it will be. Also we could not see how the activities were doing, since there were none going on.

Well I'm really only guessing from what my mom has told us. I've only been to the facility twice since we are 1500 miles away. But I've spoken to my mom quite a bit and she seems fairly happy with the place.

The concierge was friendly, as was all the staff we met. I liked the variety of room types from private to shared apartment. Refrigerator available upon request. I love the idea of the Stepping Stone unit between Assisted Living and Memory Care. And Assisted Living allows dogs!

Facility is nicely laid out with open spaces and is very accommodating. Staff are nice and very helpful. Facility is relatively new, well maintained and clean.

The staff is friendly and refer to residents by name. The directors have all been very responsive to questions and concerns. The place smells clean.

LIke it and the layout. Only issue is how upfront they are with pricing. When asking a question there tends to be an additional fee for every little thing. Would like more all-inclusive pricing.

The level of direct personal care is actually a 5. The wellness team rates a 4, but only because of some inconsistency and some recent staff changes that will probably be overcome soon. The facility is well-kept and clean, everyone is very friendly, and the activities staff has done a great job thus far of trying to get my parents engaged with the community. The food has had issues. It's generally ok, but there have been some complaints about items running out during service, and regular alternative items not being available. Some of this is likely related to supply issues during the holidays, but it has detracted from an otherwise stellar food service.
