I loved everything about Morningside House in Ellicott City. The facility was beautiful and clean. The rooms are a good size. Several members of their staff have been there for many years. [name removed] has been fabulous to work with. Praying a spot opens up for my parents.

The staff overall have been very warm and welcoming to my mom and our family. They have attempted to address any concerns or issues we have discussed. They have a Can Do attitude and seem to want to help. The residents seem happy there, too!

Morningside House in Blue Bell is a breath of fresh air for my wife and myself. [name removed] and the Memory Care staff have been very accommodating. Effective 5–26, I admitted my wife on their care. The facility is very clean and well maintained. For the first time in 4 1/2 months I can finally relax. I strongly recommend this Assisted Living Facility.

We chose this facility because of its convenient location, competitive daily rate, cleanliness, and responsive staff. The level of care was exactly what my husband needed, and he especially loved the food and activities offered.

From the moment you enter the door you feel the love in the building. Ever person you meet is friendly and cares from the front desk, the lovely ladies in the front office, and every person I met on the floor. Their activities are a blast, the staff is involved and involves us as a family.

From the start my husband and I were greeted with a very friendly receptionist. Before we could get comfortable in the very nice "man cave" we were introduced to Amanda. She was very cordial, an attentive listener, and shared a great deal about the establishment of Morningside House of Friendship. Her credentials and experience made us feel quite comfortable with the level of care they would offer if my Mom resided there. Their concept of "community living" was refreshing. Their objective was to assure Mom would be with other residents who were compatible to her personality; it would be a small group who would grant the opportunity for her to bond with the residents in her "network." The facilities and their concept of holistic community care in a home-like environment would make a difference in my Mom's ability to adapt. Impressive security and privacy were also variables that mattered and would be respected. It appeared that it could become "place like home."

The director of the memory unit is very dedicated to the residents and families. The staff is gentle and helpful to residents. The entire executive staff knows every resident by name and the family regulars who visit. There are constant activities to keep residents active.

[name removed] listened to my brother and responded to his questions. He explained things well. They provided a wheelchair for the tour. They offer a lot of amenities that my brother can take advantage of. The facility was clean, the staff friendly and accommodating. Overall a pleasant but exhausting experience for my brother.

The gentleman I talked with, [name removed], was enthusiastic about the place, very informative and pleasant to talk to. He answered my questions well and gave good feedback about retirement living. He is a great asset to your organization.

Members of my family who live in the same state sent me videos of a lively dance party celebrating her recent birthday! 4. She looks well cared for

Very nice staff and a clean, well managed facility. We were given a full tour including the rooms that were potentially available to occupy.

Concerns about a director being in memory care full time. This is the main reason, I chose to place my husband at Morningside. Also, concerns about staff serving food and also making sure residents will Eat in their own (the ones that can't). It seems like someone should just do the food and other staff members to help the residents.

Morningside was amazing! [name removed] and her staff took awesome care of my Father- in- law, and the other residents. They knew them by name and treated us like family! My father -in-law passed away on Good Friday, but they took good care of him until the end! I would recommend Morningside to anyone looking for an Assisted Living Facility for a loved one!

Beautiful facility, awesome staff and my sister was well taken care of. She really liked it there. I would definitely recommend them to others. My sister made great progress there and was able to return home.

Not many comments at this time but they are very accommodating in every way.

We enjoyed our visit and [name removed] was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all our questions. The facility was bright and inviting.

Proximity, responsiveness and access to staff. I would recommend.

Very warm and homey. Spotless conditions. All of the personnel were courteous, professional and helpful.

The facility is clean, well kept and smelled good. The residents were eating lunch and there were CNAs escorting or assisting residents who were done their lunch. The couple rooms I walked past were clean and were odorless. All staff smiled and said hello. I am strongly considering Morningside for my mom for respite care.

My husband and I visited this facility thinking of a respite setting for my mother who is 98 years old. We were impressed with the programs offered and believe this will provide an adequate setting for her needs.
