Friendly staff, Fun activities, Delicious food!

Room sizes are fair, the care of the facility was pretty good. Yes would recommend this to a family or friend.

Poet's Walk Sarasota is a Memory Care Community that offers thoughtful, dependable and supportive care to their residents. The building is beautifully decorated and has several outdoor spaces that allow residents the opportunity to safely take in sun and nature. Poet's walk wonderful staff receive monthly trainings regarding Alzheimer's and Dementia care, which gives them the tools to understand and empathize with residents and their loved ones. Compassionate care can be observed in all aspects from nursing and wellness, activities, dining, maintenance and housekeeping. Providing outstanding quality of care for your loved one everyday is their mission. Poet's Walk may not be the perfect fit for your loved one, but it's worth taking a tour to find out.

Morning Side has been a god send - my father in law (who would complain if he were hung with a new rope) loves it there, the staff is so kind to him and he is not lonely anymore! We are so happy and really thank A Place For Mom for their assistance in finding the right place for Pops we had never done his before and I could not tell you how helpful they were in every way~! It is very hard to put a family member in assisted living and we are so grateful for your help

My mom was moved from another state to MD and she lived at Morningside for 6 years. With the support of the staff and my family she received excellent care. With her memory issues, the staff was able to assure her and make her comfortable. My mom and the staff bonded, shared stories and had many good laughs. She enjoyed the food and the activities, particularly the music, children performing and church services. The staff accommodates to everyone's needs; they are now more aware of deaf and hard of hearing issues. Some of the staff came to the services for my mom when she passed. That in itself tells me how caring, wonderful and dedicated workers they are.

My father is a resident at Morningside House of St. Charles, in Waldorf, MD, we are very pleased with the care that my father has been receiving. The staff is caring, friendly and professional. My father is treated with respect, and with understanding of his needs. My father's room is clean, his clothes are washed regularly, and well organized in his closet and dresser. My father enjoys his meals, and snacks. His medications are provided in a timely manner, and the nurses are friendly and kind. The staff is very kind to him and very friendly. Recently a Spanish speaking lady joined the staff; this has been helpful to my Dad, since he likes to speak in his language. Overall we are happy with the way my father is being treated and with the services being offered.

This is a very nice facility. Not to big. Easy for my Mom to get around to activities and get to know fellow residents. The staff is friendly and helpful. Keeps us informed of any issues or concerns. Bottom line is Mom loves Morningside House. She is more healthy and happy now and than when she moved in.

I was very impressed by this community, it has a homey feeling and I think my mother would have been very comfortable here. It was decorated very nicely, there were lots of different amenities for the residents as well. But my mother felt she would be happier in a community that she had been in rehab at. I would definitely recommend a tour of this community.

This was the best decision for our family! Mom is well taken care of, engaged and is more active than she's been in a long time. The staff and care givers are very attentive and caring. They are always available if we have questions about anything from what Mom had to eat to what activities she's involved with, to specifics about her care.

We are so happy Mom has moved to Sunrise in Exton! She is happier than she's been in quite awhile. The staff has helped her adjust, meet the other residents and become involved. They have also taken the time to introduce us to the staff and residents each time we are there. It has given us peace of mind to know she's well taken care of and happy.

My father has everything that he needs since his move into the Morningside House. The place is kept clean and very well maintained. They offer a large variety of activities which my father has not partaken in, but we know they are available for if he ever wants to. Before we moved him in, we knew people who lived there and they were very happy so it made the decision that much easier.

I was intrigued by a calming room they have at the community. It has sensory items in it such as lights, music and underwater scenes. They encourage visits by pets. The professional staff are excellent. The community is convenient in the lay out. The food is good and I would recommend this community.

It has been a good experience for us here with this community. My father is being cared for well here. The have a great staff here, they are very friendly. He is pleased with the meals, the food is good. There are activities available for the residents. They do a good job keeping the community neat and tidy. We know he is getting good care. This is a good community and I would recommend it.

In general we find Morningside House at Satyr Hill a very friendly, appropriate and accommodating facility suitable to our father's needs. The pleasant environment has been conducive to his comfortable two year experience as a resident. He has thrived and seems so far to have had a positive experience. Any issues that have arisen have been expediently addressed by the staff. At this time our biggest concern is the occasional uncleanliness of his apartment and his unmade bed. Laundry issues have also been a concern due to lost pieces of clothing, bedding, towels, etc. In addition, unidentified laundry has been found among his items. As a result, we have assumed the responsibility of doing his laundry. We are disappointed that there has not been any reduction to his monthly fees since our intervention. We have also noticed when we have visited on Sundays and sat with Dad in the Sunroom that it has been, at times, very untidy. It is our opinion that housekeeping could be improved throughout the facility and maintained more consistently. Most importantly, Dad is very happy and content living at Morningside which in turn gives us peace of mind.

Our dear friend, Bo, has been a resident of the Morningside House for 18 months. The accommodations, staff care, gourmet meals and organized activities are amazing. We can walk in for a visit and any staff member will volunteer Bo's whereabouts. We feel he is taken care of and well loved by the staff and one particular resident, his special lady friend, Lynn.
