I liked this community. It was clean. The staff was very friendly, the director, Cindy, calls on a regular basis. The activities and care services offered were great. I also felt that the value of what is offered and the price they quoted me was fair. My main concern is that when a tour is arranged, they are prepared for that visitor, so I don’t have a real idea of what the community is like on a day to day basis.

All of the staff here have been very friendly, and very helpful. They are great at communicating and making sure I stay updated with my loved ones condition, which is good since I am located out of state. I really appreciate that they were willing to do a more in-depth assessment of my Mom and work with her to keep her in the assisted living as opposed to the memory care section, as I feel she would not have gotten the socialization she needs in memory care.

Toured here in search of a place for our Aunt. (CA March 2013). We liked the facility and the staff. We thought it had a nice feel and could definitely have seen our Aunt here. The price for the area $4K+ we thought was pretty reasonable. We chose another facility further west of Leesburg that we would have used had GA not made more fiscal sense. This was our second choice for this area - just didn't look forward to driving east on Rte 7 into Leesburg. Wife (nurse) got all the right answers. When asked about turnover - lady was honest and admitted higher than they'd like - but that seems to be the norm in this field - CNAs nor nurses just don't get paid enough!

It was very nice, but it just didn't give us quite the same feeling as Meadow Glen. It was a multi-level and everybody was ncie I just felt the employees there weren't quite as happy, it just seemed a little more institutional or something. I mean, the woman we talked to was as nice as she could be, it was a lovely place, it was clean, it just didn't give us the same warm and fuzzy feeling.

The Sunrise staff was very receptive and eager to do business. My father is still adjusting as he just recently moved in. Please be advised the "Value" and "Activities" categories pre-fill but right now we do not have enough experience to acurately rate those two categories.

Staff are very caring, food is a silver award winner for senior living. Common areas were just updated with new carpet, paint, and furnishings. Plenty of activities with two or more outings a week provided by their own bus. Apartments are spacious. Onsite beauty care, Physical/Occupational Therapy. One draw back are electrical breakers for the rooms which are only 10 amp so you can't use your mini fridge and microwave or coffee maker at the same time. Also, no wired cable to individual rooms, only WiFi which can limit some viewing.

Overall: 4/5 Overall, we’ve had a positive experience. The facility recently completed a major remodel of the public spaces, which has made the community feel clean and updated. The rooms are kept in decent condition as well. Cleanliness: 4/5 The recent remodel has made a noticeable difference in the appearance of the common areas. The rooms are generally kept clean and in decent condition. Friendliness: 4/5 The staff are friendly and generally pleasant to work with. Quality of Care: 4/5 The wellness team works very hard to manage medications and coordinate care for the residents. We appreciate the effort they put into making sure our parents' needs are addressed. One area that could be improved would be providing families with clearer information about what services are available through outside resources, as well as when and how often those services are provided. Administration: 4/5 The administration has been attentive to our parents’ needs and responsive when concerns arise. Food: 2–3/5 The food is probably the biggest area that could use improvement. There is some variety in the meals, but many of the same items seem to be repeated at both lunch and dinner, particularly salads. The taste is okay, but overall, the food is nothing particularly memorable. Activities: 4/5 There are lots of activities and themed events, with a good amount of variety. However, it seems that the same groups of residents tend to participate in many of them. Our parents don't find many of the activities appealing, so they tend to spend most of their time in their apartment except for meals. It would be nice to see more activities designed to engage residents with different interests and abilities. Value: 4/5 Assisted living is expensive in general, but considering what our parents are receiving and the care they have access to, we feel the cost is a fair value. Overall, we’re pleased with the care and attention our parents receive. There are certainly areas that could be improved, particularly the food and opportunities for residents who don't participate in the more traditional group activities, but the staff and wellness team work hard to meet residents’ needs.

They are a caring staff the facility is clean and activities each day. However, the food that is served to my mother leaves a lot to be desired. She has expressed her dislike as well as another resident too.

The only feedback I have is about the food. It could be better.

Friendly community, the coordinator was very enthusiastic. Residents looked happy. And the staff answered my questions professionally.

Room is a nice size and is very well kept. They do a lot of activities and rides to Valley Forge. My mom likes it. I have not eaten at the facilities but the food looks very good. The staff is friendly every time I visit and they do keep me updated.

Our experience has been very positive from the beginning. The team was welcoming, compassionate, and helpful throughout the entire transition. The move-in process was straightforward, communication was excellent, and the staff provided support every step of the way. Since then, we've found the staff to be attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. Questions and concerns are addressed with patience and professionalism, and it's reassuring to know our loved one is receiving thoughtful, quality care. Overall, we are very pleased with the care, communication, and support we've received and would confidently recommend this community to others.

The most positive things were the extra care from the Administrative staff, especially when things rapidly declined with my mother. The communication was really good and they really took care of mom. The more negative thing that's stood out was that there is sometimes a break in communication between staff leads, nurses, medicine givers, and later hospice; and between daytime and evening staff.

Staff is caring, and the food and activities are plentiful. Room cleaning could be a little better. Our experience with administration to hourly staff is always positive. We recommend Morningside to anyone searching for assisted living.

When the director gave me a tour she knew all the residents names. I would recommend Morningside. My loved one and I feel he is safe, which was my biggest concern when looking at locations.

Chose them because of location. Need to upgrade door locks to apartments. I would recommend.

Staff, from director to nursing/med techs, front desk/concierge. All very pleasant and willing to help. Atmosphere: Residents seem to want to be there. Smiling, chatting. It's bright, very clean. All from my perspective anyways. Not sure my folks feel the same way, but they're cared for and that's important.

First, this is a very hard job and everyone who works here has a special heart to do what they do. I have found staff to be competent, friendly, and respectful-especially sometimes when clients can be 'challenging'. [names removed] are wonderful with the social aspect of Morningside. Keeping people active, socially engaged, and motivated makes this place unique among other places I've visited. Medically, although doctors are not continuously present [name removed] and staff do a great job, being very responsive to every need that arises. Dining room staff knows everyone and caters to their preferences and diet. [name removed] has been wonderful. [name removed] in housekeeping is a great find. She has a really difficult job and is probably the most positive person in this place. The negatives a few, but I need to add my mom's situation here now. Without specifics, mom is declining in health and cognition. Even with more assistance her needs are changing from when she entered Morningside last year. Some of the following doesn't pertain to mom right now. The menu choices are very minimal, other than basic every day items. As people eat here all the time, variation would be welcome. It seems staffing has its difficulties. I do notice laundry, possibly bathing, do not always follow schedules. With that said, my mom is always dressed well and her apartment is clean. Also weekend staff and weekday staff seem to SOMETIMES vary in quality of care. I believe this may be a staffing challenge. Front area ([names removed] etc) are ALL great. Overall, very pleased that mom is in Morningside.

The facility is currently being "refreshed," which means lots of noise as floor is taken up and lots of dust. This detracted somewhat from our visit, since it was not possible to see the place as it will be. Also we could not see how the activities were doing, since there were none going on.

Well I'm really only guessing from what my mom has told us. I've only been to the facility twice since we are 1500 miles away. But I've spoken to my mom quite a bit and she seems fairly happy with the place.
