Our loved one moved to Poet's Walk Memory Care Community - Fredericksburg two months ago and is thriving in their loving and supportive environment. Every detail in the building, program, and staff is geared to memory care, and it has made a positive difference in our loved one's life.

My mother lived at MSH for 2-1/2 years. The facility was beautiful and clean and the staff caring and attentive. While at MSH my mother developed a deep bond with Denise , the Director of Life Enrichment. My mother, typically quiet and withdrawn, came to life and thrived at MSH because of this bond. Mom especially enjoyed the musical entertainment and could be seen each morning walking around the lobby saying good morning to everyone. I had never seen her happier. I am so grateful that my mother was blessed with Denise’s presence. Although Mom is no longer with us, I still stop by MSH occasionally to say hello to Denise. Each time I visit, I marvel at the way the residents respond to Denise and how sincere and caring she is with each individual. Denise has a true gift for working with the elderly.

The home is always clean when we have been there. The food is quite tasty and the staff is very attentive during the meal time. All of the staff we have encountered smile and make us feel welcome. During the transition period they were comforting to us and mom. A beautiful home.

Our experience with Morningside House has been a very positive one, so far! They do an excellent job with their memory care program. They really go out of their way to make sure Mom stays active and socially engaged, and I like they'll check on anyone who doesn't show up to meals or activities. It's a very nice place, overall!

My father recently transferred to Morningside House of Laurel from another assisted living center to be closer to my family, but he's been pleasantly surprised by how much more at home he feels here. Amanda has been a great representative and ambassador for Dad's new home, and helped us greatly with registration, move-in, and acclimating Dad to his new surroundings. She even sent me a photo of Dad dancing with other residents on one of his first evenings, which put me at ease that he was enjoying himself and his new neighbors. Direct feedback from my Dad on the staff is that everyone is kind, friendly, and helpful. We are all happy with his new home.

It hasn't been easy but worth it. We ran into a few issues trying to find a place that was right for my Dad and went through a couple different communities before moving him into the Poet's Walk in Fredicksburg. They've been absolutely wonderful. This place is very different from the rest and hoping that it all works out.

Poet's Walk has given my family and I such peace of mind since moving my mom there in December. The staff is very friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. My mom tells me each time I visit, that the nurses take very good care of her, and are so nice. She participates in activities that weren't available to her at home, and she also loves the food. This was a very hard decision for us to make, but after seeing how well mom is doing, and how well she has adjusted, we are relieved that we made Poet's Walk our choice for her care.

The staff members are all very welcoming and I believe that the Morningside House of Friendship facility held true to what it advertised. I cannot think of any improvements that need to be made to the place.

OMG this place is amazing the staff are very pleasant they care for their tenets in away that will allow them to thrive Amanda is very easy to work with during a time that is most. Difficult she manages to make all involved feel safe from judgment. The place is clean friendly actually it is a beautiful place .I am grateful much parents are in there

We have only been here for a couple of months. The care services seem to be fine from what I have seen. They offer plenty of activities but my husband does not participate. What drew me there was the fact that it was for dementia patients only. I like the security the residents have there. The staff seems be engaged with the residents every time I go to the facility.

A genuinely caring atmosphere

It is great at Sunrise Senior Living. The food is good. She has made friends there. Compared to where she was before it has been really good. The staff is quite friendly. They are a little expensive but it is cheaper than some other facilities around. They answer phone any time we call. So far so good here.

We loved Morningside. It was homey, welcoming, and beautifully decorated. There were many activities and the staff knew all the residents even if they were not caregivers. They also have on-site PT, which is a plus for someone coming from rehab. This is the community we have chosen.

They are awesome. There is literally not one fault. It's extremely clean. The staff is great. They are right there for you for anything. It wasn't chandeliers and marble, it was like a home. There isn't anything they said they would do, that they didn't. The missions person there Heidi is awesome. Mom would probably be mad at us if we tried to take her out of there.

I been there several times. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The residents always look clean and happy. They are very informative. They are informative about the activities and about the daily schedule. My overall rating of this property is 5 stars. Everything is great. My loved one is happy here. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the Laurel, MD area. It is nice. Very clean.

The Sunrise Senior Living of Exton is an excellent community. They took her to McDonald's and then to have a picnic. She loves it. The memory unit has very well trained staff. They are very understanding and compassionate. It is a bit expensive.

A Very nice setting. Overall people are nice. Food is fine. My overall rating of this property is 5 stars, I rate the Friendliness 5 stars because everyone was nice, I rate the value 4 stars, and I rate the care services 5 stars. I can't rate the activities because I have not experienced that area. As I stated above, this a very nice setting and I am very satisfied with Morningside House of Friendship!

This facility is beautiful, there are lots of activities, food is good, good value for price, staff is very attentive and caring. We love it!
