My mom improved after her surgery and moved back home. But she did do well and enjoyed the experience. It was a good experience and she enjoyed everything. The meals and activities were to her likes. She had no complaints.

From the beginning of finding Morningstar our experience has been great. The staff is wonderful. Everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. But most importantly Mom loves it!!!

My mother was here for respite stay and everything went very well. This community is great, and every area is very clean. The staff was great, they were very welcoming and concerned about my mother. They do offer a lot of good activities. I did check out a couple of places and this one was the best. If I had to look into a community to move my mother to permanently I would choose this one.

My mother is happy here and I am very pleased with this community. This is a nice community and it looks good and pretty clean. The staff has been kind and helpful to my mother when she needs them. The activities they offer are great, she enjoys bingo, ice cream socials,and the work out classes. This is one of the better community we looked at and everything so far has been great.

Housekeeping is not emptying the diaper genie. Meds changes sometimes take a while. The salesperson who rented the room has not acknowledged the resident since. All other personnel are helpful and friendly.

Nice communal facilities. Good activities. Good dining. Units were small. No real cooking capability in units. Small unit with minimal storage. Not a very walkable area. Communal laundry and kitchens which were inconvenient. Affordable.

My Parents were only there for a month. My Mom decided that she did want to live there. They were just there for a trial month. I enjoyed visiting them there. I enjoyed the people and the staff and I thought it was a great place.

The only thing they could improve is the housekeeping. It could be better.

The staff is always caring, kind and professional. The building itself is always clean and the decor is homey. The level of care here is excellent. The food is good for the most part, but food service is lacking at times. Overall, a good place.

I toured this community while looking into respite care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

They've been good. I don't have any major complaints at this point. It's relatively clean, and the staff is pretty friendly. They were somewhat less expensive and we liked it the best. We are pretty happy with them.

The facility was beautiful! Ryan was so helpful in answering all of our questions. Seemed very clean and the residents look like they enjoy their living experience. Very close to my home so the convenience is there.

Things have gone very well with Garden Court. We toured quite a few facilities before selecting this one, and they have not disappointed. They've been very good about staying in communication with our family, and the staff have all been very friendly and helpful. The facility itself is well kept and clean. It is a very nice place overall.

We’re happy with the service we’ve gotten. He seems to be pleased with the staff! We had some issues with getting a haircut. We did get it taken care of. There has been some pharmacy issues, but we think that’s being taken care of. Everything’s been okay, but there’s room for improvement. I like that it’s a smaller unit. He’s settled in better than we thought he would. Everyone seems to be well taken care of! My loved one loves the animals that are there!

We liked what we saw here, everything looked very nice. We toured this location when we were looking into care options for a loved one. It was definitely an option we were considering for her, and we liked that it had a higher level of memory care available if she progressed down that path. However we felt that as things are now this may have been a bit too busy for her, and the cost was a bit higher than other options we looked at.

We originally planned on moving my grandma in here. They've been great as well but the timing didn't work out for her to move there because they hadn't opened yet when she needed to move. It's a brand new facility and everything seemed upscale and really nice. They were very friendly and professional.

It was very nice. It just wasn't quite in my mom's price range. They have a good program as far as the care set up. They don't move you around if you go from independent living to assisted. You can keep your same room and they just upgrade you on the spot so that's kind of nice. The place is very nice as far as the food and living space too.

This place is very elegant but it was way too big and way too expensive. It was really nice though. Everyone was very nice that I met there.

My mom seems to love every part of it except for the orientation. That was not good. I was told that as soon as she came there she would receive a tour and there was a painting club - that was one of the main draws of Bonaventure. She wanted to meet them and be a part of that. About a week and a half into her being there she still had not had any kind of a tour and she still hasn't had the opportunity to meet with the ladies about the painting and she's been there a month now. Everything else she's really been pleased with. They've gone out of their way to help her. She's only getting one meal a day but the meals that she gets, lunch, she really likes. They giver her so much food that she takes some of it back to her room for the next meal.

My husband stayed there for a respite stay and it went well I think. It was kind of hard to tell because I wasn't there. Everything was nice and clean and the food looked really good. I had two of his family members came to see him while I was gone and they thought it was a little cold, not temperature wise but less friendly that some other places. Perhaps they're just used to something different. I was a little disappointed when we got there because the room that he was to go into was not the room they told me it would be and they didn't have it set up. They had to bring in new furniture and I had to stay at Bonaventure for an hour longer and ended up missing the rehersal dinner. Also when I called to speak to him they seemed a little taken aback and acted like it was an imposition.
