We are pretty happy with it overall. The food is okay. They have plenty of activities, and he does them all. I would say when they are dealing with memory loss, they could be a little more organized about things like laundry. For how nice it was, it was more reasonably priced than the others. My only suggestion would be that they like very high functioning residents here, and if you are going to need a higher level of care, or some memory care, this doesn't offer that. There are a lot of people with Advanced Degrees, so it's nice to have other intellectuals to socialize with. There is a high standard for grooming as well.

This place is amazing! My Mom has lived there for a year and loves it! They treat her like royalty. We have dealt with many places over the years and there is no where better!

We dropped in unexpectedly late on a recent morning and were taken on a tour of the community by Dora Rice. We were shown many types of rooms and all of the facilities available to residents. Ms. Rice was an excellent tour leader and a fine source of information. We had an informative discussion with a resident at a complimentary lunch. We then had session with Jane Meyers-Brown, the Marketing Director, in which we discussed our future plans and the options available to potential residents. We were very favorably impressed with everyone we met and with the condition of the facility. We are seriously interested in becoming residents when we feel that we are ready to make that move. On the basis of our experience, we intend to learn more about Garden Court. Our experience also leads us to rate their treatment of potential residents as excellent.

Quiet. Well maintained and nicely laid out. Very Upscale. No bathtubs except in common area. Three meals a day included. Month to month arrangement. Furnished apartments available.

This is a great place with a high level of care. Ryan knows his people and they all like him. That is easy to see. If my dad needed more care this would be an option, but since he doesn't at this point I need a less expensive option.

They are absolutely wonderful. I don't have one complaint. Everything is wonderful, the food, the people, the atmosphere. It's just a dream, just a dream. They give you hugs if you want them, I just can't say enough.

Having the medical care integrated with the facility (so there is a nurse or PA on staff at all times) has been really nice. The food is also very good. It has been a great experience with Atria Applewood and I would highly recommend them.

My inlaws loved their time at the Fair Oaks. Everyone was really sweet, friendly and attentive. Jennifer Salas was especially warm and welcoming. We cannot say enough about this lovely lady. She was so polished, patient and positive and took the time to get to know the whole family. The facility was first class from the reception on up. The apartments were well appointed and the staff was first rate. The food was great and the dining room and common areas were very elegant. We recommend the Regency to anyone who can afford this luxury accommodation. It's definitely well worth the price.

My mother lived at Morningstar for just under a year and I couldn't be happier calling that her home. From the minute you walk in and are greeted by all the wonderful staff to the dining experience, activities, and care provided throughout the year I am truly touched. My mother was in the memory care unit which has a very high number of staff to give the extra care that is needed. Management was so wonderful to me and my family, I can't thank them enough for all they have done. I highly recommend morningstar to anyone looking for assisted living for their loved ones

They are doing terrific. We have no complaints at all so far. It's clean and the staff is friendly, and they take good care. I hope it never changes.

My Grandma lived here until she passed away. We can't say enough good things about Morning Star. We felt comfortable from our first visit and appreciated ALL of the help and assistance Shirley gave us. We never felt any pressure and felt that the staff sincerely wanted us to choose them only if it was the best fit for us. We ultimately chose Morning Star after visiting many homes in town. The facility is new, clean, and beautiful. The staff is wonderful, absolutely wonderful, from reception to every one of the care givers and administrators. The staff visited my Grandma in the hospital when she became ill and the care was superior when she went back to Morning Star. If you are looking for a great place with caring people, Morning Star should be high on your list.

This was a brand new facility when my mother moved in, so all staff were very eager to please. They have continued to provide excellent service 8 months later. The premises are spacious, clean, bright and welcoming. There are daily activities and weekly outings. The food is very good and the dining room warm and inviting with lots of light. All of my mother's needs are being met, including socialization. The cost is very high but fitting for the quality of what is being provided.

A wonderful place. Bright and cheerful, full of caring people. The food is EXCELLENT, and the quality of care could not be better. I could not be more pleased with our choice. Thank you to the Director and to all of the great staff.

My memory impaired, 91 year old father goes to Parker Assisted Living for day care three times a week, and he has stayed for week long respite care three times in the past year. The facility is clean, organized and beautiful. The staff is friendly and attentive. There are many planned activities and amenities. Our experience has been very positive. Their day care fees went up 35% at the beginning of 2014, which was a shock, but I don't know how those fees compare to other facilities that offer day care. This facility is located very conveniently to us, Papa enjoys attending and he has become familiar with the staff, residents, and other day care participants. We plan to continue day care and eventually residence for him there.

I visited today and was very, very impressed. It is an absolutely beautiful facility, and the residents seem very comfortable. They answered my questions as I would like to have them answered. I am quite sure I will be taking my mother to visit soon. Unfortunately, no one-bedroom units available right now, but possibly a studio until one opens up.

Very nice place; they had a cute dog; fresh baked cookies every morning; sales lady was very helpful and asked me lots of question about what we needed. this place is on my 'short list' so i may come back to it.

Beautiful! Just a little pricey. Loved Sue B. loved the accommodations. Rent and medication monitoring very high.

My dad is at Fair Oaks. It's great. My father's comment after he'd been there for a couple days was this place is as nice as some of the nicer hotels he's been in - and he's been all over! it's the nicest place I've ever seen. We like everything about it. It's really a beautiful place. The décor is beautiful. The food is really good. My dad likes the food and so do I. I've had a couple of meals there. The common areas are fantastic. Every floor has it's own separate kitchen with a big cooking/eating area. They have a pool table and great seating areas a beautiful movie screening room with high backed chairs that seats 40 or 50 people. They have libraries on every floor and a spa. They have a couple of outdoor areas - one has a nice bbq seating area. It's great! There is no move in fee! They applied the deposit toward the firs two months and they had furnishings in the rooms - mirror, chest of draws, table. It's like a big hotel room, about 400 sq ft.

1st Tour Very nice. 23 min. from my house. Arlene (tour guide) was awesome. Very clean. Nice sized studio. Christian based facility. Assisted living - Very expensive. Base price is $4,000. Memory Care - Very, Very Expensive!
