Beautiful place. Great location, but on the small side. Getting into will be harder. They have some crazy rules about pets, $1000.00 no refundable plus $60.00 a month...over kill.

I live here currently. When you first walk in, you can see that the ceiling is 3 stories high and it looks like the main entrance to a lodge in the mountains. The facility is beautiful and not very old; it feels more like home and not at all like an institution. The staff is very good with people and they have a good sense of humor. There are a lot of activities for the residents to do throughout the day and they have a chapel with a man that volunteers to do services on Sundays. They also have a bus that takes residents to various churches; you can participate if you want to but it isn’t mandatory. The art and furniture are both first class. You can participate as much as you want in the exercise classes or creative activities and the restaurant style food is good with plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you don’t like the entrees of the day then there are always about 6 other choices available to choose from. I have a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and 2 walk-in closets and it’s really nice and big. I was able to bring all of my dearest personal items, which was very important to me. They also allow animals like small dogs and cats. I really like it here and would recommend it.

My Mother is very happy here and the staff is treating her wonderfully. It’s a very beautiful facility and it’s a great fit for her. The community has a lot of activities like singers who come in, a library upstairs, trips to go shopping, and bingo. A few of the amenities my mom likes is they have an in-house stylist, trips to the casino, and they are pet friendly! They also have a pretty dining room with white table cloths and she enjoys the food. I would recommend this community to other families

I am very pleased with this property and my loved one loves it here. It is a smaller location, there are less people living here, and there is a nice mixture of independent living and assisted living. Assisted living of course didn’t need much attention and the facility itself didn’t feel “nursing home” ish. It felt more like a community for older adults. They provide many activities for the residents and my loved one got actively involved right away within the first few weeks. She would be exhausted with the amount of activities that she participated in. Now she settled down and limited herself with doing 1-2 activities a day and of course she has her favorites. She loves the happy hour, chair yoga, and the little bus ride that would take them places. My loved one says that the food is fabulous. [Removed] is absolutely fabulous. He took an immense amount of time with us. He brought up questions that I never thought about asking. He is extremely caring. Before my loved one lived about 200mi away from us and our other family members. So we brought other family member in town and [Removed] took the same about time with them. When my loved one came in [Removed] actually came in on his day off to meet her. Every time I’m there, he takes the time to say hello to me and he pretty much closed the deal with us. We care so much for him and what we saw there. I recommend this location to others.

Certainly a higher and senior facility in Pasadena area. Well managed, well maintained, attention to detail. Good food, exercise classes, movies, 3 libraries, on floor kitchens, art classes. Shuttle service and provide. Very accommodating staff. Excellent choice.

Working at Fair Oaks for how many years with the elderly has been my honor and enjoyed my time with them.

I am happy I chose The Fair Oaks for my dad. This place became his home and he received a lot of love. [Removed] was the best, [Removed] was fantastic!

My mom has lived here 4 years. The food and activities are excellent. The caregivers are top notch. We love it!

Mother has resided since Nov 2013. The facility is very clean. The menu for meals very healthy and service is great. Med management is very good. Security of facility is great. Quality of life is very good. Attitude of all staff are very positive and supportive.

This community is in harmony with residents. It is well organized and serves good meals and offers many programs for senior residents. I love to live here.

The facility is one of the best in the industry!! I would recommend my elder relatives to leave there. The service and hospitality are awesome.

I like this community because they are very supportive to my mom. Staff is very friendly and attentive. It is clean and it's very modern and up to date. THe food seems to be fine, she has options to chose from.The grounds are nice just not enough room for my mom to walk she loves walking. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

My mother was staying at this location under their respite program. She was not there for a long period of time, but while she was there everything was wonderful. The public relations director and the rest of their staff were very communicative and easy to work with. I would go over sometime in the afternoon and speak with them for options if I had chosen their location for mom and I would come back home and find an e-mail with options and offers. They are very proactive and knowledgeable. We have become more involved with their daily activities since they send me emails and invites to events that they’re holding. I was just invited to a Thanksgiving event for next week. The food there is pleasurable and I enjoyed their salads. Every time that I went there everything was very fresh. They have different set menus. One would change daily and another that would never change. They have a great variety of selections from soups, veggies, chicken fingers, sandwiches, etc. They also have an extensive selection of beverages, they place snacks out during the day like popcorn or bowls of fruit, and a juice & coffee dispenser. The other residents that are there seem very friendly as well. They also have a 30 day calendar of activities to do. They had jazz night with a sax player with 4-5 background people accompanying him. They also had a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Walker. Everyone seemed to be really involved. Overall, this is a great community with very attentive staff. They also allow the tenants to keep pets: dogs, cats, birds, etc. Of course it would cost extra and they have weight restrictions with the dogs.

This is my home and I am very content here! Our people that work here are wonderful! They are the greatest!
