This community is very neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is amazing and I really enjoy it. Also the community is a good value for the money. I would recommend this community to others.

We are very happy with it. The staff are a bunch of sweethearts. Our loved one feels it isn't as bad as they thought it would be. The community is a well supervised and run community. They are willing to answer any questions at any time that the family has.

It's a friendly, well-run place. The food is varied, and it's good quality. It tastes like something you'd get at a restaurant. They clean the rooms weekly. They seem to not be staffed well enough sometimes, so you have to wait a little longer if you need help. I think they have a hard time getting and keeping help just because of the way the market is right now. But they offer a lot of activities. They have an exercise class every day, and they have arts and crafts several days a week. I see posts on Facebook with pictures of things they're doing - I saw a piñata at Cinco de Mayo. It seems like there's always something going on. We've had two family members here, and we liked it well enough to put the second one here as well. They both have seemed to like it here.

During the time our loved one was there, we had a wonderful experience. The community was very clean, and the staff members were very friendly. We could not of asked for a better place. When it was time for our loved one to pass they were extremely helpful and very respectful.

The woman who led the tour was wonderful. We were able to go inside, and she showed us an empty room, which was beautiful. They had lots of open space. I liked the garden in the middle. As my mom gets further along in memory loss, we would consider moving her here. There were residents sitting out in the common areas, and it seemed very welcoming and prepared to take care of people of many needs.

It's a wonderful place. They're very open to visitors, even through Covid. In fact, I've stayed there for a week with my family member. The only restriction was that you couldn't be out in the common areas. You were to stay in the room with your family member. And if you were out of the room for any reason, they required everybody to wear an N95 mask - staff, residents, and visitors. The staff are great. They all go out of their way to help anybody and everybody that comes in. They are always clean, washing their hands. They have great activities. They did pictures for Mother's Day, dyed eggs for Easter, and they have days where they bring in ice cream sundaes. They really keep their tenants very active. They go on walks. They brought in a pet that everybody shares, a dog name Mr. Pickles.

It's just a very nice senior independent living. It's clean, its fresh, it's sunny, it's nice. They don't provide meals here, but that did reduce the rent quite a bit. They have coffee hour and things, just no meals. There's an outdoor space with a barbecue. The people are very friendly. It's quite a nice place. The staff are quite nice as well, and the director is a great individual. Because of Covid, they're just starting activities back up. I know they just started an exercise class in the last couple of weeks. It's very cost effective here if you're on a fixed income.

I would highly recommend you check this community out. I am happy with it. There is staff turnover which I believe is expected in this line of work. The staff communication with the family is great. They do everything so well and it is fantastic here.

I highly recommend it. I feel my loved one is safe. We're not able to visit, but communication has been pretty good, I'd say a 4/5.

The staff is really caring, they love our loved one and whenever they have spare time they come to her room just to chat with her. She is in the top level of care and they have great communication.

This is a pretty nice community and is in a good location, and the staff does a good job and keeps everything clean. I would definitely recommend this community to others

The carpet in the community is old and in certain places it has a smell. Timberwood was amazing at activities. They had people come in and sing with the residents, celebrate holidays, and welcomed the family in for dinner and other events. The community really made us feel like family. The staff and the family spoke even after our loved one's passing. They were helpful in assisting us in getting our loved one's items out of the community.

We really like this community and the staff is absolutely phenomenal. They have a very nice activities director, and our loved one immediately fell in love with the staff. They take pride in their food and we hear it is very good.

We think that value was really good, and the care services they provided were wonderful. Unfortunately due to COVID there were no activities. From what we could see, this community looked really nice, and was clean. Would recommend this community.

We chose Homestead of Shawnee because it was right in our neighborhood and the price was as good as we could possibly get in a situation like that. Her room size was great, she was in a double room but she was the only one living in there so it was more like a little apartment. She also said the food was good. The best part about the community was the staff members who worked here, they were all great. I would recommend the community.

All these ratings are based during COVID. The community did a great job when my loved one was there. I would recommend this community. The manager was very good, and the staff was very friendly.

My mom has been at Chaucer for 1 1/2 years and they take EXCELLENT care of her needs. The staff is attentive and caring, and there have been several times when staff really went above and beyond to cater to her desires and needs. My mom enjoys the staff and the other residents at Chaucer. It's been a great new home for mom!

Mom loves this place! She has lived at Weatherwood for almost 5 years. We have had a few issues but they always respond. They treat her well and really care about her.

It is a wonderful place with friendly staff. It is a smaller size community. It has been a good experience. The room sizes are great. The food is good. They have an outdoor space for residents to use. It is right next to a lake, so wonderful views. No place will be perfect all the time but they try to make it the best possible experience.
