Small community but large on service, caring and individualized attention. Family atmosphere with nice patio and garden spaces. Engaging activities. Church services, beauty salon, rooms on one level and easily accessible to the dining area. Caring staff. For example, when my mom wanted to have lunch with her siblings one weekend in December and another activity had been planned utilizing the dining space for the residents special accommodations were made for her in her apartment. A nice meal was prepared, along with my mom's favorite dessert using my mom's recipe. Beautiful linens and dishes were used to create an atmosphere like my mom prepared this herself. This is an example of the kinds of things the director Colette strives to provide for her residents. Collette's leadership is contagious. She leads by example for her staff and consistently and frequently questions the residents and their family to ensure their overall total satisfaction. Each staff member goes out of their way to understand what is important to each resident. Special attention is made to encourage residents to be as independent as possible. Family members are made to feel welcome and encouraged to participate in activities and with their loved one's care. Costs for this level of care were more reasonable and fair at Granville compared to other facilities in our market.

The staff is great. They are compassionate and caring with the residents. The facility itself is well kept and clean. The residents here are well groomed and they seem well adjusted and happy. So far so good.

Everything is going fine and the staff is doing a really good job.

Mom is very happy here and has adjusted well. She has made friends easily which has made the transition smoother than we dreamed it would be. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Granville is a very warm and open facility. It is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful and my dad has adjusted beautifully, in part because of that very thing. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a home for their parents that is less overwhelming than larger places we had toured. (40 units). My brother and I are very happy with our choice of Granville Villa. Of course, we wish our father could be at home, but since that is not possible, Granville is a great 2nd choice.

So far it's going great. I'm pretty happy with them at this point.

Looking for a new home for my sister was a rather daunting task for her son and me. However, we both had a good feeling from the beginning about Timberwood. The residents and staff were so friendly, and the atmosphere was very homey. My nephew and I have felt perfectly at ease about choosing Timberwood, especially after enjoying their Mardi Gras family party and watching other families interact and participate in the fun and food.

Peggy Kelly House was the third and final care center that we moved mom into as she progressed through the final years of her battle with Alzheimer's. The care and attention there was far and above anything we had delt with before. The nurses and caretakers got to know her way beyond anything we had previously experienced. There were only about ten residents and at least that many caretakers, she was well cared for. We were extremely pleased with the Peggy Kelly House.

Mom has only been there a week. At this point, we could not be happier. The people are so very nice & kind to Mom.

Overall our experience with Homestead of Lenexa has been a good one! It's a nice looking facility, they keep everything looking clean and well kept, and the staff have all been very friendly. From what I've seen they do a great job getting to know each of the residents, learning their likes and dislikes, so that they can make everyone feel comfortable and at home.

The main thing that differentiates them they are really committed to providing an excellent experience. They have a solid head of nursing. The food is really good. They do sitter-size, bingo, and that kind of thing. There has always been enough parking when I’ve visited.

Just walk into Timberwood and look around, its gorgeous, it doesn't smell, things are just going wonderful. It's a good place.

The staff seems to be very nice and caring even when the patients are having a bad day. I have eaten there, and I found the food to be very good. The manager and supervising nurse ([name removed]) are very accommodating when I need extra help with my brother.

The staff are great with my mom. Lots of activities to keep her busy. She's on a soft food diet and they've done really well at providing her balanced meals. She has several friends and is very happy there. We had some issues early with billing and communication but those seem to be resolved.

Homestead of Owasso gives you a friendly and warm feeling when you are there.

The food quality was pretty much good. They'd have periods of it being pretty yucky and then everybody would complain and then it would get better. I think we had like four or five cooks, maybe two or three during the time that I was there but they always tried to listen to the residence and make improvements based on complaints Activities. I really didn't participate much. The staff was outstanding. Everyone was so sweet and so nice and so willing to help you do anything so I have nothing but praises for them.

The staff at Homestead truely cares about their residents. They hold resident councel meetings to make sure their vision of retirement living aligns with the resident's. They also host holiday meals open to the residents families to promote a welcoming environment.

We think it's great vary attentive to her and her needs. When I have a question they are very helpful. How often do they check on them, what changes in medicine have they made, do you get them to all meals.

Staff is helpful and supportive. Facility is very clean. Mom was able to make friends and enjoy the social activities. According to my mom, more choices and quantity would improve the food. I believe they were short staffed during her stay, so this may have impacted.

The director is very kind & helpful. The activity director is also very kind & tries to engage the residents. Staff were always helpful & kind.
