Merrill Gardens

According to our loved one the meals are a little inconsistent, and due to the restrictions the activities have been shut down and certain services aren't able to be taken advantage of which is not the fault of the facility. We would recommend this community to others.

This place was great! My Aunt really liked it and what it had to offer. It was clean , bright and very cheerful. The one bedroom apartment was perfect for her needs.

I love [name removed] she was great and I love Arbour Square . My brother and I are hoping to get another tour on Saturday. I am waiting to hear back from [name removed]. We sent the pictures and information to my Mom. I hope this will be my mother’s new home!!!!

We chose Merrill Gardens because of the value for the money as well as the location was convenient for family. they were really willing to work with my siblings and I to get her in here as quick as possible. She is in a studio apartment and I thought it was perfect for her. It reminds me of an over-sized dorm room. They keep our family informed of everything, there is always an email or a phone call so nothing is a secret. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

My family and I like it as the community has taken good care of me. My family feels safe here. The spaghetti is wonderful at the community. I don't care for the breakfasts are somewhat cold and they serve sausage.

The community is in a beautiful neighborhood, and the community is beautiful also. The director is amazing and very caring. The staff is amazing and I can't say anything bad about this community. I would recommend this community to others

My loved one loves the community. They make sure there is an alert system in case of emergency. The food is amazing and they have lots of activities for all the residence. They get to know the residence and adapt to them.. The community is pet-friendly and the location is amazing. I would recommend this community to others

You can have peace of mind to know your loved one is safe and secure. I don't have to worry about my mom being in this community

During the time our loved one was there they were absolutely wonderful. The staff members were excellent and the nursing staff especially. They were really good about calling us with any updates regarding our loved ones health.

We chose Sheldon Park because it was recommended to us as a place we should look at from a physician friend who has had patients here. I looked at places and read reviews online and they had good reviews. They were very friendly and helpful, they did a video tour for us since we could not go inside. They had everything my father was looking for. The location is reasonably close to where I live so that was important as well so I could visit often. I think they are doing best that they can under these unique circumstances. Overall, we have been very pleased so far.

The community and staff don't always call us back when we have questions or concerns over my loved one. I also know they are short staffed due to the pandemic.

After my visit with the Legacy, I was convinced that the Legacy was the best fit for my mother. I liked the dining room; where she has choices for all three meals, every day. Believe me, my mom loves a variety selection and good food. Her apartment has lots of space with a small kitchen space, large bathroom and shower, spacious separate bedroom, and a huge walk-in closet, which is great because my mom loves her clothes. My mother is a strong woman of faith and the Legacy has a couple services. The staff has been very attentive to my mother and making sure she has the right health services provided including rehab. During the COVID with all the scares and concerns of the rapid spread in assisted living and nursing homes, the Legacy has been keeping us informed weekly. In fact, I was visiting my mother yesterday at one of the outdoor patios and she commented that she was so glad that she was at the Legacy that alone makes it worth it.

We brought my mother-in-law from Indiana this last January to live near us here in Georgetown. We had visited many assisted living facilities before deciding which one would (hopefully) be the best for her. We visited Legacy and Both my husband, and I were impressed for many reasons. What we were so impressed with is Legacy’s ability to make everyone feel at home. Whether it be the facility’s actual appearance both inside and out, or the courteous and genuinely warm staff and helpers, it wasn’t a hard decision at all for us to make. We have been so pleased with all the care and attention my mother-in-law has received, all the activities that she is offered and, above all else, the communication afforded us by Legacy.

We think the food is really good, we also think the size of the community is good. The rooms are pretty standard they are a little small. We we would recommend the Merrill Gardens community to others.

I and my brothers have been helping our 89yr old mother with an assistant living facility. We found the Legacy At Georgetown and met the Community Relations Director. She did an excellent job of touring and guiding us through the facility. She answered every question with detailed answers and suggested ideas that I did not even know. With their help, we chose the Legacy At Georgetown and are very happy with it. Thanks !

This is a beautiful facility. A little on the pricey side, but they have some nice specials. This will be a finalist.

It's a great structured program. The staff really got to know the residents. They had active programs and activities for the residence. It was a very caring community and the residence was also very friendly.
