When we needed to find a nursing home or memory care facility for my dad we checked out Pine Rock Manor in Warner, NH. I was hesitant, even though we live in Warner and it would be so convenient because prior to ownership changing, I hadn’t heard wonderful things about the facility. He needed to be released from the hospital to a care facility so I figured this could be a place for him to be until we found a spot for him at some other facility. As it turns out the staff at Pine Rock are the most caring and competent staff you could find. My dad had been in two other places prior to this and they weren’t even close to what we have found at Pine Rock! I am at peace knowing that my dad is being so well cared for and I don’t mean just physically. Staff members truly love the residents and they are always smiling and happy. It’s an upbeat positive atmosphere.

My parents have mentioned that breakfast is always cold but that for the most part food is satisfactory. They could use a few more activities for more mobile residents,. The cost is much lower than up north. Overall a good, safe community with a wonderful staff. They know all the residents by name. There is room for some improvement, possibly more activities, I know the residents enjoyed playing corn hole.

From the first day just going through the place, everyone was very kind and made me feel as if i belonged there. We are all at the same step in our lives so we all treat each ither with the sane resorct and welcome. Having to come to a point in our lives that we have to move from our homes to a facility is very difficult for a person who just cannot continue to be in their homes any longer, Merrill Gardens makes us feel so at home.

I love the staff and residents. When I first came here it was adjustment I took it very hard, but I have grown to love it everyone made me feel like part of the family Everyone is friendly and go out of their way to make sure my needs are met.

I love everything about this place. Mostly because my Mom is happy there. They go above and beyond to make it special for their residents.. I love that my Mom can eat when she wants to and order off of a 3 page menu. I love her apartment, it is so cute with a lot of light and a balcony. The activities are so fun for her. I llove how the staff makes a special attempt to talk to her and make her feel special. The facility is so clean and new with a modern decor!

The staff help develop a family based network with residents. Administration is slow to respond sometimes. The food could use more variety in the rotation. Some dishes are over cooked and MANY dishes have too much salt.

Merrill Gardens best of Brentwood is well deserved. Their emergency responses are text book. I like the high degree of social interaction between residents and between residents and staff/management

Our mother has been in MG for about 4 months. She was in another community for about a year, and that experience was absolutely awful. MG has been everything we hoped for. The staff is incredibly responsive and caring. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

My older sister has been at the MG / University for 10 years. She had been living on her own but suddenly found herself needing a little more community support. The staff at MG is amazing - providing support and encouragement and all the while respecting the need for independence. MG offers a wide variety of actvities for their residents - open to everyone including family but no pressure to join in. Come and take a tour - you won't be disappointed!

The Pines is a perfect fit for my Mom. The staff are are kind, courteous & friendly & very nice to mom. There are a lot of fun things for me to do when she feels up to. For the value for cost, I can't answer this as my brother & sister handle this part. As far as I can tell, the staff always looks out for & will call my sister asap if there are any issues. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

The staff and residents are very nice. Apartment sizes and amenities offered are great.

The staff there are really great, and turnover has been relatively low, which means the people who care for mom on a daily basis are very familiar with her needs. Also, she has friendly people dropping in to check on her frequently throughout the day. In addition to three meals a day, someone also comes by with snacks (fruit, granola, cookies, sandwich bites, etc) twice a day.

I am there twice a week. I talk to my father every day at 10:00 AM. I interact with all the people that live there. It is a very great place. They are so helpful and friendly really great with their activities. There's always live music. They go on trips. It's a really great place. The people that work there from the present all the way down are awesome.

My mom has been at the Pines for 9 mos. now...I know that she is well taken care of and all her needs are met. The staff is wonderful and caring and I can't say enough good things about them. They are quick to respond to any questions/concerns we might have..The food is terrific. The administration plans some fun nights for the residents at least on a monthly basis on top of the daily activities...

I feel good having my daddy there and not have to check on him every single day because I know they're taking good care of him. We would definitely recommend this community to other families.

My name is Bonnie I love to live here at Merrill Gardens / Glen. Mills , I am very comfortable and feel very supported and loved by everyone . I have made so many friends here and hope to make more Our bingo and all the games are so fun in our pub !!! Come join us we have a lot of fun here ! I have lived here for 16 months and I wouldn’t change a thing .

Price increase was fair after a discussion. Staff is VERY attentive. Even the weekend staff. Everyone there cares. They ask how the family is doing and are very genuine. The facility could use an update and a deep clean. Fresh paint would help.

I've been incredibly impressed with Truewood by Merrill in Pinole. The community has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, largely due to the amazing staff who have become like family. Many of them have been with the community for over a decade, demonstrating a true commitment to the residents. The location is absolutely fantastic! It offers a peaceful and serene environment while still being conveniently located near amenities. I've noticed that the community is undergoing some wonderful renovations, including fresh paint, new lighting, and upgraded carpeting. The attention to detail is evident, and it's clear that the community is dedicated to providing the best possible living experience for its residents. The new outdoor railings are a great addition and enhance the overall appeal of the community. I wholeheartedly recommend Truewood by Merrill to anyone considering independent living. It's more than just a place to reside; it's a place to thrive and build lasting friendships.

I was helping a friend and he moved into Truewood. He is still there and happy. It is a very nice facility with updated apartments and lots of activities. Welcoming, friendly and where I would live if I were old enough.

They seem to have a lot of activities for the residents and all the staff seem very nice and caring. Room sizes in the memory care unit are just fine. Not too small. I would recommend to others looking.
