Merrill Gardens

This is a lovely community, and my father is doing very well with his move here. I'am pleased with all they have done for my family. All is well for us at this community.

I toured about nine locations before I chose this location. I made up a matrix and scored each with their program , location , price, meals, fitness, and size of the apartment.

When we walked into this community we knew it was not the right fit for our loved one. The people we met were nice and the community looked clean. This community did not seem to have the homey atmosphere we were looking for. This community reminded us of a hotel.

The lady that gave us the tour at Sheldon Park was very nice. She even followed up with us after my loved one was placed in another home to find out how things were going and if there was any way they could still help. It was a good tour and a nice facility.

I was satisfied with my mother's respite stay experience here at this community. It is a really nice community, and everything went well. This is a nice facility with kind people. The staff was good with their communication. They were also accommodating, and kind. Everything worked out well, and this is a community I would recommend.

Comfortable environment that doesn't look or feel like a hospital. The staff were very friendly and one nurse took the time to analyze my situation and make very informative recommendations. There also appeared to be a broad set of choices for activities, outdoors and indoors. I couldn't determine how well the staff encourages the member to participate, but the opportunity was definitely there.

Everything seemed to be clean and maintained very well during my tour of The Pines. The person that I met with was friendly and welcoming. They were able to answer my questions and it was a good experience, but not the best fit for my loved one.

I thought the staff at this community where very friendly and gave my loved one and I a great tour of there community. They had a wide open floor plan that was easy for the residents to navigate through. I liked that I saw many of them involved in different activities throughout the building. It was just more of a location issue that I had on why I couldn't place my mother in this community.

I thought this place had a lot of really great amenities available to all of the residents and the facility was very well maintained. The staff where very professional during our tour and made sure to give lots of great information to my father and I about there community. I have no complaints about our visit and would recommend this place to anyone

We toured this community for care for my father I liked the staff and the community was clean. They offer alot of activies for the residents. The cost for the care seemed very reasonable. The community was clean and we liked the atmospher for the care. We suggest that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

When my mom was apart of this community she had good care and she enjoyed her stay very much. It is a brand new faculty and doe not have their AL license yet. In April they will have their license for AL. With that in mind they were limited in what they could provide. However they had an outside agency help with the care for the residents. It was a good experience even though it was limited.

Definitely an affordable option and larger living space.

My friend is doing okay and has improved a lot since being here. When he moved in he did not get a good immediate experience. He likes the staff and appreciates their help. Being on the independent side, he was hoping that it would cost him less. He likes the food option and it is part of the rent. I think it's a nice facility with nice staff.

Bay park was a very nice facility. I had a good tour and everyone there was very friendly. It was a close second choice but found another community that fit my father's needs better.

When I toured Fig Gardens, I though it seemed okay. The staff was friendly. The tour guide was nice as well and took me around the building.

My father is doing pretty well here at this community. So far everything is working out very well. He likes it here, and I'am trilled with his move to this community. The staff is very good. He has adjusted very well to this facility. It has been a great experience, and I would recommend this community.

Things have been okay for my mother since her move. The place is very clean and everyone is friendly, but we are struggling with some of the help. They are not providing the level of care that she needs.

Based on the fact that it's new, there is not a lot of participation in the activities which inhibits my dad. He is in the assisted living side and they provide his medication. It seems they are a little slow in the process if there is a change. There is only one nurse so she may need some help to stay on top of it. The meals are served on time and housekeeping has been all good so far. this community is the best fit for my dad and I would recommend them to my family or friends.
