These are all subjective and [name removed] may have a different take. I could ask her for her opinion. She's always willing to share what she thinks. Still very aware and observant. But this is what I have observed from my time there.

I was very pleased with my tour as my questions were answered and the facility was clean and welcoming! I especially was impressed with [name removed], the Director.

I have lived in Mount Zion since I was about six months old, so it feels very nice to find an assisted living facility close to home. The building is very clean, and all the staff are very nice and welcoming.

Staff is good plenty of activities food is good cleanliness is good but not great apartment is appropriately sized.

I enjoy the privacy that The Glenwood gives us. We all feel very safe and secure in our apartments at night. The Glenwood offers many activities, and they offer a good variety of different things to do.

The Glenwood is a nice facility. I have made good friends since my time here. The care staff who enters our rooms are always very kind and they take very good care of us here at The Glenwood of Mount Zion.

He is receiving good care. With many residents he of course doesn't get one on one care but seems to be getting the care he needs. I am happy with the care he is getting. There could always be better care with direct singular care, which is not feasible for us.

Lovely staff very welcoming. Shared a great deal of information regarding Meridian. Received and answered all of my questions and enjoyed a tour.

The building and décor are beautiful and create a welcoming environment. However, my husband is in memory care, and while there is an activity schedule posted each day, the activities are often not carried out as listed. I would appreciate seeing more consistency between the posted schedule and the actual activities provided to residents.

We were impressed by the cleanliness and pleasant smell when we first visited Cypress Place. It's quiet and peaceful, which resonated with our brother in law.

The overall experience is very hard. The people at the Esplanade are very nice. I don't hear any complaints about the food, it is very clean (no smells) The rooms are nice, and the activities are ok. Overall I would recommend them.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My mother enjoyed many of the activities including bingo and crafts. The food was a welcome change from the nursing facility she was in previously and offered a nice variety. The dinning times were a little too close together for her and she wished dinner would have been later in the evening. The 1 bedroom apartment was. a great size for my mother. Even as a bariatric resident, she had plenty of room to move around.

Beautiful place, but I would have appreciated a chance to talk to a few of the residents. A lot of these places don’t reveal info about response time of staff or turnover. If my mother was interested in moving in I would have pressed them on these two questions. Another important thing I learned was to visit unannounced and observe some of the relationships between staff and caregivers which we were not privy to.

There have been several errors on my bills. When I try to contact the person generating them both times I called for multiple weeks, leaving messages and she didn't respond. Took almost 3 weeks to get it resolved. Frustrating. I prefer to eat my own cooking for now. Wish kitchen (refrigerator and stove in particular) weren't EasyBake oven size. The rest is fine.

Close to family members, to increase visiting. Their food is excellent and everything is very clean. It is a very nice facility and the residents all seem to be happy there. I would recommend this place.

The patient and positive way she is treated by the staff. My wife always says everyone is nice to her. It's not perfect but I would recommend the facility

Staff is nice but the team they have at the front desk could use a little more training. Kitchen and dining room wait staff are wonderful. Exercise classes are good and the pool is wonderful. Happy hour on Thursdays has really good entertainment and they offer beer and wine. Apartment is small but has big full kitchen and nice size bathroom bedroom and shower.

Generally happy with living here. Feels staff does a nice job on a daily basis. Food could have a little more flavor.

I feel the kitchen needs to connect as a team a little better. Not loving the food, feels food has been spicy. The care team is doing a very good job. Housekeeping keeps room very clean and home feeling.

I have lived at MerryWood since [date removed]. The activities are wonderful. I just came from a wonderful session where we were drumming and what I’ve liked about that is all of us are different. We have different skills, but somehow we all came together to drum together and make music. tai chi and yoga are two of the my favorite things. The people that do it are fantastic and I also like just being with people you know that I have something in common with and so we can talk and it’s very nice to go outside and sit in the sun and talk to people and watch the roses grow. It’s such a pretty property with so much space and the people are probably the finest. I also comment on the good food in the dining room room, but most of all the waiters I’ve never seen people so dedicated to us that they know who we are. They know what we’d like to drink and they can’t wait to serve you and the other things I like, or just the spaciousness of my apartment.
