The staff does a great job. A comfortable place to live. The cleaning staff are very friendly and good. The food could be better. Need someone to care for outside grounds. Nobody seems to care except the residents!

After moving in which was a bit disorganized things improved. Anything that is needed is generally gotten. Meal have been quite good enjoy all of the special meals as well. Sometimes all laundry does not get returned started marking.

My mom lives here and enjoys the community. The staff knows her and checks on her regularly. There are times when there are not enough staff available but for the most part people are aware. When Mom is sick the staff are extra attentive.

Brookstone is a good place for elderly that don't need excess nursing care. They should have a generator. Especially for those on Oz at night especially.

The overall community is good, and some staff are excellent, but some need additional training. I would like there to be more outings offered, like museum trips, and for there to be more reminders of current activities so that residents remember. I would like there to be more intellectual talks offered, such as speakers from the colleges (which they do have at the Independent building). I have multiple caregivers who are excellent.

It's enjoyable to walk into a clean, friendly facility. Always easy to sign in and out.

Love all the family events.

We love this facility, My father has had some issues with remembering to ask for assistance due to mild dementia and they have went above and beyond to help.

The administration and assistant administrator do an excellent job, The overall staff does an excellent job. Concern: Frequent power outage. This facility "NEED" a Back up generator.

My mom has made improvements throughout her stay at Brookstone. The staff has helped her adjust to this change. Activities with other residents are extremely important and for the most part stays busy.

My mom is well taken care of there! She loves the food, staff and her apartment! I am very disappointed that they are raising the rate by 10 percent 4 months after she moved in. 10 percent! We now have to move her upstairs there to a studio apartment to keep her rent the same.

The nursing staff was amazing. Such caring people. The maintenance staff was great but understaffed. My sister was not a picky eater. She ate hamburgers most of the time so she liked the food. There was a lot of turnover while she was there. They had no director for almost a year. It was chaos. I complained numerous times to Meridian high level executives but they just yessed me to death and did nothing. There was a problem with the activities director who was doing two jobs so many times when I got there it was like going into a wake. People just sitting around with nothing to do. I have not been in contact with anyone there since April so I'm hoping the situation has improved since I believe they now have a new director.

I like the people that work here very much and I know them by first name and they know me. I like the food, the kitchen does a good job, but sometimes it doesn't always come out hot enough. Their soups are delicious! One of the best things offered! The wife gets excellent care. There could be more activities.

The care staff and the head of Memory Care are the reason we have my mother at The Pinnacle. She tells me they treat her 'like a queen'! My mom is always dressed nicely, and they try hard to get her involved in activities.

I really like the community, staff in residents . Staff are amazing and very attentive. There are some really well dressed people living there. Most people seem to reach out to one another.

I would tell others looking into The Country House in Westchester to make sure and stay on top of your loved ones healthcare Make sure that they are receiving yearly physicals and blood work and that their prescriptions are filled on a timely basis. We have gotten increases every year and in 2 1/2 years his rent has increased 19%. Big increase quickly.

My sister [name removed] has been at the Pinnacle for about a year and a half. The facility has many amenities including a movie theater , pub and game room. The aides, therapists , hair stylists and kitchen staff have been great looking out for Jane. The activities staff, especially [name removed] have worked hard getting [name removed] involved in things.

We moved our mom into the Meridian mid April after visiting several places in both Hillsborough and Pinellas County. The Meridian is close to wear she use to live so it seemed like the perfect fit and it is. The staff is always very friend and helpful. They know my mom by name and are always very cheerful and asking how she is doing. Mom loves to just sit and watch and greet people in the lobby area along with another friend. Thankful that I know she is getting well balance meals, is socializing and I know if staff is needed she can just press a button. Thank you to everyone who is helping in the care for our mom!

Good service by aides. But needs more aides! Food is great! Lots of entertainment and things to do.

What I see and like most is how ALL the folks there are kind and friendly. My mom receives great care for health and hygiene and she’s not forced to participate in activities if she doesn’t want to but is firmly encouraged to get up, dressed and out to meals every day. I do see the tremendous efforts to care for the community as well as improve and do the necessary upkeep of the facility.
