Meridian Senior Living

The Meridian is a good place despite some minor problems. For instance, they have an interim director right now, among some other small concerns. But no place is perfect, and that would be the case anywhere. It's a smaller facility and feels like a true community. They definitely try to accommodate wants and needs. It's a beautiful place right on the water. The rooms are nice, and it's clean. It doesn't feel like an assisted living place. They also have a lot of nice activities, including things outside the norm like casino night, live entertainment, and they even put on a pony show once.

It was a very lovely place seemed to be well taken care of.

I do not have much to compare it to, but overall I think that it is a good space for encouraging socialization. They have quite a bit of good activities offered for the residents. She has not been thrilled with the quality of the meals. It is an encouraging place for residents and their families. I would recommend The Pinnacle at Plymouth Meeting to others looking.

It's a really beautiful place. If your loved one is fairly easy going and willing to participate in things, then it might be a great place for them. If your loved one is more hesitant and has higher care needs, then it's too big of a place and not enough people that really want to do the care that they need to be doing.

This is a nice place and a good option for your loved one to live. The staff communication with the family pretty good. My loved one likes the meals; however, about twice a month the meals seem to be inedible for my loved one. The residents do have options to choose from and the staff try to be accommodating towards the residents meals as well.

I toured Harbor Village and they did not have very much, as far as assisted living. They offer it, but only at a very low level. My loved one needed more care than what they could provide. For people who don't need a considerable amount of assistance, this would probably be a good place. If she would've moved there, it's almost as if I would've had to move in with her.

I regularly visit my elderly cousin in the villa and have been impressed with the friendliness, care, and compassion shown by the majority of the staff there. They work to make the residents lives there as agreeable as possible. I really appreciate them.

The issue I have is when I call for the nurses station to speak with someone there, they do not answer the phone. This has happened several times, & call at times when they are not dispensing meds.

This is a very warm and cozy community with very nice apartments. They could improve their entertainment and activities for the residents. I do not feel like they are very challenging but we are still transitioning over to this community so hoping the activities will change also. The staff are also great and very warm they have been so welcoming and nice with my loved one. They have activities like short story time, and different lectures but there are not a lot of intellectual activities like my loved one is looking for.

I would recommend it but there are some staffing challenges they are working through. Overall I am pleased with it. Which is why my loved one is still there. The staff is very responsive when you bring things to their attention. My loved one said the food is somewhat bland and would enjoy some more options to choose from. The resident involved activities seem very repetitious. They don't have a lot of choices. The choices she does have, she isn't interested in. The movie night goes to the loudest resident picking the movie, versus a scheduled movie to watch. It's the same movie over and over.

There are some design flaws that make it difficult for residents with walkers and wheelchairs to get around their own apartments as well as the facility. They offer a lot of different kinds of activities such as violist coming in to perform, different clubs for things such as poker, corn hole, excursions throughout the city to go to museums and shopping, etc. The meals are good with a variety of options.

I think that they are very good people. they really seem to care about the residents, the facility is always kept clean. they're really trying to help our loved one settle in. overall we are very happy with Chapel Hill Senior Living.

I would recommend Assisted Living at The Meadowlands.

I would recommend this community to others for their loved ones. They are friendly, caring, and they have Montessori approach in the memory care and this impresses me. They treat the residents with a lot of dignity. The staff are very good to work with. The phone system could use improvement, especially to leave a voicemail or message. Due to them having staff shortage it can be hard for them to return phone calls. They don't have a lot of activities going on due to the pandemic. They have a choir internally in assisted living and memory care that sing weekly. Every room has large windows and a decent view from it. If the room is split, they make sure that each person has a view to the outside.

Middle class clients with excellent amenities/ Clean, comfortable with time. Some clients without family in the area...good staff...good administration...good food...excellent building. Slightly outdated, needs to improve recreation portion. All in all above average.

This was a beautiful community more like hotel style living. I did not feel like people would mingle and that they would find friends in the community.

They're really good. They listen to you, and they help you. The only thing is it's tough to get in when there aren't as many people on staff. They have the door locked and you have to sign in. So if nobody is at the door, you have to stand outside for a while. But that's really been the only issue.

My mother did not like it because it seemed to clinical and like a hospital environment. The people who showed us around were great but it was just not the right feeling for my loved one. The residents seemed happy also.

According to our loved one he is really enjoying the meals and dining service, and the value for cost has been great.
