I recently had the pleasure of attending a musical event at Allen Harbor featuring the talented pianist known as Jazzou. His performance was unlike anything I have ever heard, the way he played the piano was absolutely mesmerizing. He knew so many of our favourite songs. What made the event even more special was how kind and personable he was. Jazzou took the time to speak with residents, making us all feel appreciated and connected. I also want to express my appreciation for the Life Inspired department at Harbor Village for bringing us such wonderful entertainment. Events like this bring so much joy to me.

Living at Harborview has been such a wonderful experience. One of my favorite things is relaxing on my deck and enjoying the amazing views every day. It brings so much peace and beauty to daily life, and it truly feels like home. The food here is also outstanding. The meals are always fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared with plenty of variety. Dining is something I genuinely look forward to, and the staff always make the experience enjoyable and welcoming. Another highlight is the incredible transportation staff. They are dependable, friendly, and always willing to help. Whether it’s a medical appointment, shopping trip, or geeting my nails done, they make traveling stress-free and comfortable. Their kindness and professionalism are greatly appreciated. I am so grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive community. The beautiful surroundings, excellent dining, and wonderful staff make this a truly special place to live.

Moving from independent living to residential care can feel overwhelming, but the staff at this Harbor Village made the transition incredibly smooth and comforting. From the very beginning, everyone was kind, patient, and understanding, taking the time to answer questions and provide reassurance every step of the way. The care team went above and beyond to make sure the move felt welcoming rather than stressful. They helped create a personalized plan that respected routines, preferences, and individual needs, which made settling in much easier. Their compassion and professionalism truly stood out, and it was clear they genuinely cared about the well-being and happiness of the residents. What could have been a difficult adjustment turned into a positive experience because of the supportive environment and attentive staff. Knowing that caring people were always available brought peace of mind not only to the resident, but also to the entire family.

For several years now, I have enjoyed visiting Brookstone attending some of their open to the public gatherings. I’ve found it very welcoming when you walk into the door and many seating options for residents and guests! I see residents enjoying each other’s company with the staff members also enjoying interacting with residents. I was really impressed with their all day menu. So many options. Nice and comfortable place!

The villas are different than most senior apartments. The enclosed courtyard is a plus, there is a movie theater, library, and a large game room. The staff is friendly and the breakfasts are hardly. The mental trivia games and morning stretch is something to look forward to. Plus who doesn't love bingo! All in all the Villas are a good experience.

Nice place to be when you can’t live on your own. Always people around and I feel very safe here. Enjoy using our library and I also have opportunity to visit our in town library. Nice grounds for outdoor walking.

Main plus for me is the staff! Always treated well. I definitely would recommend living here. Down home atmosphere, many different food selections to choose from on the menu plus the daily specials. I love catfish & they always make sure I have a nice piece! Appreciate staff willing to go extra mile, and our activity gal reminds me of a peppy roaring 20’s girl. Nursing is always on top of needs..and informative with information. Highly recommended living here!

The Landings at Gentry Park Independent Living is a warm, welcoming facility. My apartment is the perfect size. The staff is very attentive. They learn the name of each resident. There are a variety of daily activities with outings each week. The food is delicious - made to order at each meal. The facility is very clean. Maintenance is always responsive and housekeeping cleans each unit weekly. I'm very thankful for the guidance provided by A Place For Mom in my search for my new home.

The staff was attentive answered all our questions. Residents looked happy ,facility well kept and clean.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful for dad. The place was very clean, they did a great job keeping dad's place as it needed to be. The food was good especially since dad didn't have to cook. There were a lot of activities so participate in, however dad was not there long enough to really get to participate much. His 1 bedroom apartment was a perfect size for him.

We have great cooks in kitchen if something on menu you don't like they have another menu you go by like hot dogs ,hamburgers,grilled cheese yummy,omelettes. The food is really great. Everyone always has a smile for you even if has been rough day. Cathy the lady cleans does a great job always willing to help with anything she cleans windows on outside make sure all spiders out from underneath porch. Great place to be.

I feel like they really care about how their residents are doing and how they are feeling. The staff always seems friendly and kind. They always try to answer questions and make sure they are doing everything they can to make it a great experience.

They are very accommodating and pleasant. Rooms are a nice size. Large screen TVs, nice size bathroom, a refrigerator in your room to store snacks. Everyday a different activity is offered.

Very nice, clean and friendly staff and fine dining. I looked for my mom, but wanted to stay there myself:)

enjoys her time here Food in dining room has been good. Does not participate in activities but says at 90, she is past her time. But all activities seem to make other residents happy.

My sister was recently at Homestead. From the first time we stepped inside we were made to feel like family. Everyone was honest, friendly and went out of their way to make her (and us) happy with her placement. The only reason she left was she wanted to be closer to home, otherwise that would have been her "home" for many years to come.

I felt very at ease whenever visiting my grandparents. Staff is always very friendly and welcoming. This is an assisted living where residents are happy and well taken care of, I see it whenever visiting. They are always getting involved with the community which I feel is extremely important. Holding special events at Brookstone not only brings joy to the residents, but to the kids and their families. I would recommend Brookstone to anybody!

The staff here are so accommodating and nice to work with. The made me feel at home and it's been a wonderful experience for me to live here. I recommend this to anyone that can't live on their own. I really like it here.

My parents moved to Brookstone in [Date Removed]. When Covid locked down the facility, they graciously took all precautions and allowed me to spend my dad's final days with him. My mom stays because she loves the staff and the friends she has at Brookstone. She would be lonely otherwise. I'm glad she's there because I know she is safe. They transport her to the YMCA and to the clinic if I'm not available to take her.

Everyone was so nice and inviting the place was amazing and clean going to put my mother in law there extremely happy with everything there
