The halls are spacious. The staff from cleaners and front desk to administration and cafeteria are all attentive caring and pleasant. There is a great community here and plenty to do if you are so inclined. It's clean and beautiful you can stroll outside or find a sunny corner to play a game or even take a nap! And the food really is the best; variety, and snacks and desserts.

I enjoy working for [name removed]. And the overall care he is needed from me. I like the friendly people you meet and the staff. They are all there to help whenever you need them. I like the activities they provided. They bingo is our favorite. The meals are wonderful. The bistro has lot of goodies and fresh fruit. The room are nice and roomie. The clean your room and take out your trash I do enjoy coming here to care for my client.

My wife has resided in memory care for 18 moths, the staff has made it possible for me to have quality time with her. Everyone works hard to ensure that residents have a pleasant experience. I have been pleased with the quality of care and updates. Meals are okay but some additional attention to what is practical for memory care residents would be helpful. Special events are well planned and executed.

Chevy Chase House has been an unexpected but intensely needed gift for our family. After my mom’s death and my dad’s relocation from Florida to DC this summer, we were all gutted emotionally and just spiraling downwards. The staff and residents at Chevy Chase House caught us in our descent, embraced us literally and figuratively, facilitated selection of the BEST local ALF, and have been absolutely nurturing and supportive in the most unexpected ways during my dad’s recent move in. It’s only been 1.5 weeks, but we feel rescued. Thank you, thank you so sincerely!

I had a very nice experience when visiting one of my clients at CC House. The exterior of the building was very welcoming. The interior the same. It felt very warm and everyone looked so happy to me.

We picked Smithfield Woods originally because of the location from home. The location is perfect! set in the woods but still a neighborhood and close to 44 with a beautiful view of Stump Pond. We toured 5 other places and knew this was the one. The home a and family feeling here is amazing. The staff takes great care of my mother in law who has Alzheimer's and needs a lot of help they are always so patient with her she's clean, happy and neat every time we visit. They keep great communication open and always have things going on. We would highly recommend Smithfield Woods to anyone looking for a great home for their loved one.

I've lived here for a long time with my wife. I am happy here the workers are always helpful and the food is good. I cant complain. My wife has dementia and shes happy here too I would pick it again if I had to

My family and I selected Chevy Chase House first because of its central location and the elegance of its building interiors. All my expectations have been met completely. This is a very friendly, caring environment with wonderful staff and so many available activities that a resident is bound to find things in which to happily and comfortably participate. I've been here four months and can honestly say CCHOUSE has met all my expectations! The residents and staff are very friendly and I found adjusting to life here perfectly easy. It is clearly the perfect place for me!

My dad has been at this facility for the past 2 1/2 years. He came after a fall to recover and gain strength before returning home. He has not left because he enjoys it here so much! Wonderful staff, great food and great friends. He has people check on him often and they manage his meds for us. They help with cleaning, laundry and care for the residents. He can have his cat and his car so he still enjoys the comforts of home. They have outings. We are very grateful for this facility! They just remodeled and I wish they would add on an activity room so more events could be held inside. The dining hall gets a bit crowded when families are invited.

[removed name] has been a wonderful place for my dad. Everyone is very friendly. The staff is great! I love the family nights, family fonners and events they have. I do wish they would add ln an event room.

Staff was very friendly and helpfull also the building was very clean and well managed you can tell maintenance keeps up with the building. The cost was alittle pricey but when it comes to managing the facility it looks to be well worth it you get what you pay for and we all want the best for our love ones.

I have lived at the landings of sidney for 3 years! It is such a nice place and I have wonderful Aides who are like family to me now! I really enjoy the craft activities and balloon volleyball here! I like that i can get my hair done in the Salon here and don't even have to leave the building!

This facility is very welcoming. Everyone is attentive, kind, and clearly invested in the well being of the residents. The facility is clean, welcoming, and extremely well run. Residents and their families are well taken care of.

I moved my mom into Chevy Chase House in [removed], and I was very worried about the transition. She really did not want to leave her home, and the move seemed really rough for her. However, from the moment she arrived, she made many friends and has done very well! The caretakers take very good care of her, and she is always busy doing activities, exercising or dining. The building also does a great job including family members for special events, speakers, etc. I’m so glad I moved my mom here. She would not have done well living alone these past four years.

I recently went to visit a friend in this facility. I was very impressed with the activities they have for the residence and how kind and caring the staff was to the individuals who are living there. I would definitely recommend this facility for those who are in need of dementia care for a family member. It’s not that often that you go to such a type of facility and see the individuals who are living there with smiles on their faces. I was also very impressed with how clean the building was.

My mom has been a resident at Glenwood for more than a year and half. We are very happy there. [name removed] and her staff do a great job. They are friendly, patient and caring the facility is always clean and welcoming. The food lady [name removed] also does a great job. Meals are diverse and healthy. I have been recommending the Glenwood and well continue to do so.

Full disclosure, I work at Chevy Chase House. I am also a family member. My father moved in last spring. While it's great for me to see him all the time, what's more important is how he describes his experience living here. He loves the neighborhood. He raves about the food. He enjoys the huge gym. He says the thing that sets CCH apart is the people who live here. It's an interesting and engaging group who look out for one another, with a true spirit of community. That means the world to me as a daughter.
