Outstanding caring service by staff. All of our needs and concerns are taken care of here. Clean and well maintained. Food is good, varied and visually prepared. A full program of activities is available. Staff communication to residents is good.

The staff was very professional. This is a newer community. They have a wonderful family outreach group. The location was too far from family and this was a drawback for us.

We really really liked Maplewood. The facility is very nice and brand new, the residents we interacted with were super friendly. It is right by the rehab facility that my mom had passed away at and we just could not bring ourselves to be that close and be reminded of it everyday.

Maplewood of Danbury overlooks a cemetery and I did not think my wife would want to look at that every day. The parking here was horrible as well, it would have been a lot of walking which would have been very hard for me.

Maplewood feels like a luxury hotel and it had the price point to match it. It seemed like a great place, we were just looking for something that felt more homey.

I am very relaxed living here. I am close to family, which is a plus and have made some nice friends.

Very nice community decor/patio caring staff. Maybe improve housekeeping could increase programs geared to make residents, not much for them to do. I think short staffed probably due to Covid. My husband thanked me for choosing MW. Satisfied with my husband's personal care. Good food too.

High quality facility. Very clean and quiet. Meals good or better. Residents courteous and respectful.

The activities are great both exercise and games as well as music, singing and dancing. The food is good but sometimes the service in the dining room needs a little more help. The apartment is beautiful and everything in the building is super clean. Also everyone looks out for you. You never have to worry about getting help.

We chose Maplewood at Darien because of the location, they have 24 hour nursing care which is something my mother needs, and I liked the facility itself. It is very up to date and open and airy. My mom has Alzheimer's, for this type of care she is not really able to take part in the activities. I would tell others just to keep in mind your loved one may be spending a lot of time in their room. The rooms are on the smaller side and the cleaning and laundry have not been all that great. But I know that she is being well taken care of and I would recommend to others looking.

Maplewood at Southport was good. They gave us a wonderful tour. Like all the other places we toured, the rooms were good, and the services were all pretty much the same between the different facilities.

You really have to be your patient's advocate. You have to check on things and make sure they're getting done. If you want your loved one to go to an activity, it's your job to say something. But our loved one is going to activities we never thought he would go to, and that's very impressive. I like the staff. They're very good. The few times I've been there, I've notices some cleanliness issues. Overall it's good, but his bathroom hadn't been checked recently. I think it's pretty expensive, but overall it's been a really good experience.

This is a relatively good community for the money. Sometimes they do not follow through with things that they should. A lot of the staff are friendly and easy to get a long with. Some of the staff are a little different. They have a lot of activities for the memory care unit to keep them active.

Mill Hill is lovely throughout. Interactive groups using music are to be encouraged, as are those using physical activity. The more the better, especially considering the cost.

The community is short-staffed like many other communities right now. I would not be able to recommend this community based on my experience.
