Nice facility. Helpful staff.

The staff seemed amazing-the apartment fronts were really nice and it was just an overall good impression. We love the place - definitely a 5 - my mother in law is not happy with her stay - but the family would recommend.

While the assisted living floor has many daily activities, the memory care floor is lacking substantially. There's been 3 activity directors in less than 1 yr and residents are basically put in front of the TV most of the day. Very few crafts, outside people coming in for music, activities, pets, events, etc. There seems to be high staff turnover, which I suspect is common. I'm finding it difficult for psychological assessments, follow-ups, updates, etc. Also high turnover for this position. I'm not overly impressed with the medical care for a patient who has low level medical issues. However, she does a medical condition, if not closely monitored, will cause obvious symptoms. I'm not finding the staff as attentive as I would expect, especially with obvious symptoms if the condition worsens. Lastly, I found the [Amount Removed] increase very high for the 2026 vs 2025 fees. I was expecting more like 5% - which is higher than the inflation rate for the year, but almost 10% was a surprise.

The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The apartments on the upper floors have lots of light. And the 1 bedroom is a great size. Everything is very clean and the food smells great!

It was a very nice.place. The staff are nice and very knowledgeable. However, we felt the place was more for Ahelzimer patients and no so much for someone with Parkinson's. We thank you for time.

The dining experience for the residents is above anything I've seen before. Tables set with white tablecloths, choice of entrées, and nothing is rushed. Nothing sub par here at dining time. The staff, very nice and involved. Never have I seen staff sitting aside on their phones. The administration staff is first class. They remember my father's name and know everything that's going on with him. It's truly a totally caring and loving place. We had to wait to get in, but well with the wait. Don't hesitate getting on the list of you see assisted living in the near future for your loved one.

Cleanliness A+, Staff A+, Activities A, Apartment Size A for Studio, Food (recently) B-. Overall we absolutely love Maplewood at Southport. The holidays were magical in every way and their celebrations are top notch.

Very nice. Very clean. Friendly staff especially waitstaff. Meals very good. We chose them because of the, Family proximity and resident friend.

I loved it from the minute I entered, there was a sign with my name on it, welcoming me, and it was just for a tour which totally made me feel so welcomed. [name removed] was terrific, answered all my questions, and it is an absolute beautiful Facility. I would have no reservations, placing my spouse in such a gorgeous facility.

I thought Maplewood at Orange was very attractive, in fact it felt cozy and welcoming. The foyer/common LR was lovely with a fireplace too. The dining room was inviting, staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. And the room felt spacious enough to accommodate your own furniture to make you feel at home!

What we like the most about the community is that all the employees know the names of each resident and the guests who come regularly. I always felt they cared about each resident and his/her personal needs. I never worried that [name removed] needs were not being met.

He loves the therapies and exercise classes, especially for Parkinson's. Also, he says the food is great. He feels very well taken care of. The only thing I'd add is that the manager is not very responsive when there's a problem. We had a weird thing happen recently where my friend's toilet safety frame was stolen. That was icky in itself, but I was more frustrated by the lack of response to the incident. Other than that, all good!

A staff that appears to truly care and engage the residents. Nice size bedrooms, clean and feels very much like home. The outside areas are beautiful and I know my father will enjoy himself outside next summer.

All the staff there were wonderful. From the top to the bottom. They were as concerned about my brother's care as I was. They were on top of his needs and how to handle them. Everyone went out of their way to make my family feel informed. I was so impressed with the level of care he received. I felt I'd picked the ideal place for him.

[name removed] room is large but cozy, the staff is friendly and always helpful, activities are offered all day 7 days a week, even church services Sun AM, the food is great, they serve snacks around 2 and [name removed] has assimilated beautifully. I highly recommend Mill Hill.

Very clean and a beautiful updated facility. All of the staff are wonderful. Meals are good. And communication to the families is great.

Staff has been supportive and very responsive. The building is beautiful, not depressing, a place I don't mind taking my grandchildren. There are a lot of activities. My sister is in the book club, goes to lectures, movies, and shopping with the van. There are music recitals daily and movies every night. The gardens are gorgeous, inviting and comfortable places to sit alone or with friends. So it has been great but the apartments are a little small.

They were extremely quick with the communication ( also thanks to [name removed] from A Place called Mom ) And now 6 weeks later, are still very good about letting me know what is going on with mom. I visit often and it is good to see that the staff knows who my mom is .. and what she needs .. I feel they take very good care of her and I am so thankful.

Maplewood is a beautiful place. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I would recommend Maplewood to others. . It was comparably priced to other long term care facilities we looked at, but it was much nicer and newer.

I am highly satisfied your guidance in making such a difficult decision was a godsend. Maplewood at Orange has continued to show professional and compassionate care for my husband. Clear and timely communication concerning current health service plan or special events coming up. they are especially accommodating if you want a private space for a family gathering the grounds are impeccably well taken care of activities and opportunities provided for residence are relevant and interesting. I have peace of mind that my husband is receiving the best medical care and is in a safe environment.
