The communication between the staff and our family is open and they are accessible in a timely fashion that beats all others, even beyond the medical industry. Above all, the compassion they provide, at all levels, gives us the peace of mind that we made the right decision. Our only concern is that the cost quickly exceeded what we had originally thought when working with A Place for Mom. We had been looking for places in the range of (fee removed) a month, but the costs at Mill Hill quickly rose to about (fee removed)/month. We were and remain very impressed with the overall ambiance, care of the staff, and cleanliness, especially compared to the other facility we looked at. Although there is a lot of staff turnover everyone is very kind and communicative about what my mother needs. She went into hospice care a few months after arriving and is still in it, and that provides some additional care and services

What we like the most about Maplewood at Southport is the lovely environment, nice, caring people who seemed to truly care. They have great activities and a high degree of care, if needed.

I would give fives across-the-board on all questions. I am exceptionally happy with the choice that was made. I have been singing your praises ever since I've gone on the initial interviews and tours of the different assisted living facilities. Is phenomenal . The level of care just cannot be measured. I also wanted to comment on the facility as well as the staff that I have encountered since my husband entered the assisted-living at Maplewood in Orange back in May. I find that the nursing staff is very well trained and attentive toward their clients. I also find that the staff is also in tune with what the family may need for support . The Staff have gone above and beyond the workday to communicate with me if my husband has had a rough day. I also wanted to add something very important, the Director along with her head nurse made a visit to [Hospital removed] to see my husband and get acquainted with him before he entered the assisted living facility. I am not sure if this is part of protocol, but it truly the transition. If you want me to elaborate on anything additional, please let me know.

I had been ill for a while and though I did not want to be a burden to my family I also did not want to move into Maplewood for the care and rehabilitation I needed at the time. Reluctantly, I accompanied my sister and brother-in-law (with whom I had been temporarily living) to a meeting with key Maplewood personnel to discuss the possibility of my moving in. My sister and brother-in-law were certain with the proper care provided by Maplewood's medical and various other staff personnel I would get well and be able to return to my home in good health and enjoy my independent living again. I was not certain. I was very doubtful. I became a resident of Maplewood in [date removed]. To say there was an immediate level of comfort would not be accurate but to say I soon learned I was in a caring environment wherein Maplewood's Management, Medical, Office, Culinary, and other personnel worked cohesively to contribute to my complete recovery. I am home, enjoying my independent living and my family.

The Mill Hill was wonderful. My mother was very difficult and the staff were very kind and patient with her.

Facility is a perfect size, small enough to be able to walk around and not too big that it's overwhelming. Staff is very, very, very, friendly. They always seem to know everyone's name and are truly interested in everyone's well being. Activities really for all and if you want to do something they have the resident initiate it and add to schedule. For instance, if someone likes a game they can teach it to others and do it weekly. The food is mostly good, I think it's just hard to coordinate serving all residents at once. They've adapted with the increase in population and added a second dinner seating. Highly recommend Maplewood to others.

I would highly recommend it staff is [name removed]. Excellent people are very friendly. Sooo clean food is delicious. I could go on and on.

My loved one was previously a resident at Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls and it was a great experience for her. The staff was great. The cleanliness and friendliness were also great. I was very pleased with the care that they provided for my loved one. I would recommend Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls to others.

Both my parents are residents with one in Memory Care due to Alzheimer’s. The nursing staff are very knowledgeable and do a wonderful job keeping me informed and helping to direct care to meet their needs. The aides are friendly and engaging with them. My mom is total care now and she is always clean and well taken care of even when I know she is having a bad day. I have had other experiences in other facilities and am very grateful to have found Maplewood of CF.

Overall, the community genuinely cares about the folks living there. I believe they try their best to keep the building well cared for and keep the programs interesting so to involve families to visit. The food is the best around and the chefs are creative and interested in keeping the patrons excited about the menu. The Maplewood is fortunate to have some of the most brilliant minds living there. My parents have been enriched in daily conversations and we are fortunate to have found this place through A Place for Mom. I would highly recommend both The Maplewood and A Place for Mom to others.

THIS FACILITY IS TRULLY EXCELLENT. I AN SORRY I DID NOT FIND THIS SOONER. THE PERSONNEL WERE OUTSTANDING. MY MOTHER WAS FORMERLY AT SUNRISE OF CRESTWOOD. WHAT A MISTAKE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY FOR ALL LEVELS OF CARE THOUGH I CAN ONLY SPEAK FOR THE MEMORY CARE

Maplewood treats residents with dignity, meeting each person where they are at in their journey. The team is kind and professional, staffing has been consistent and stable, and the facility is very well nice and well maintained.

Lavish cakes and pastries are nice after a tour of a home for your loved ones but it’s all about the care they receive. It’s a competitive business and many tout as being the best or maybe even look down on their competition (red flag). Some places have wonderful park like settings but -again- it’s about the care that goes on inside these buildings. After looking over ten different places, I found that Maplewood at Strawberry Hill was the best for mom and so far I’ve not been disappointed.

[name removed] is the most unreal attentive caring director of nursing and the entire staff is loving consistent and attentive I could not recommend maplewood enough for care of your loved one. everything that was promised was done above and beyond and the personal care was top notch. dad passed away but his last days were in the care of really special people.

What our family likes the most about the Maplewood at Twinsburg community is definitely the staff and everyone was wonderful. No complaints from us. Unfortunately, my husband's time there was very short lived

The independent living here has been wonderful. Both the staff and the residents loving here have been very friendly and caring.

We are very happy with our parent's successful transition to the maplewood community. There are so many varied activities each day to enjoy, but most importantly a cheerful, very engaged, and extremely helpful staff at all levels of care.

Although mom was only there a few months I would say 5 across the board. Great place. All of the staff at Maplewood at Danbury were very friendly and accommodating to our needs I absolutely recommend this facility to other families searching.
