Clean, kind, taken care of well, good interaction with the family. Business side was very helpful and made it easy to do the paperwork and all that was needed.

For me it's perfect with my wife here. The concierge staff are excellent. It's a well run place. It is a very friendly place. [name removed] was great. Maintenance is right on top of things.

The entire staff from receptionist, housekeeping, STNA's, nurses, activities coordinators, and administrative have ALL been so genuinely friendly, caring, and welcoming. They truly listen to residents' and families' requests and concerns.

From the minute I walked in the door, I knew it was the best place for my 92-year-old mom. I was greeted by a staff member so happy and full of life. I had been to several other places before touring Maplewood Strawberry Hill. There was no comparison. This facility is top notch from the front desk staff to the nursing staff, and the aides who provide 24-hour care to my mom. The management team you know who you are I couldn't have asked for anyone better to assist me in getting my mom settled in your facility. I can go to bed at night knowing my mom is taken care of and I have nothing to worry about. The recreation directors and employees that run that department are above and beyond. There are so many great activities daily for residents to participate in. I wish I could mention names because there are so many that I would love to thank. Thank you all so very much.

My Mom spent her last 2 months on earth at Maplewood Cuyahoga Falls and I cannot recommend them more highly. They are kind, caring, compassionate professionals who treated my Mom like she was their own. We had her in another Memory Care facility before coming to Maplewood and the difference was night and day. Also, their fee structure does not add extra fees for care. You know what the charge will be for every month and it was far less expensive than the previous facility that had far worse care.

The care is first class. My mom has a rare movement disorder and the entire staff is very engaged in her treatment. Maplewood is a very culturally diverse and caring place for everyone. I highly recommend the facility.

My husband suffered from Parkinson’s, and as his caretaker, I had a serious fall requiring surgery & weeks of therapy at Edwin Shaw, so he became a Respite Care resident at Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls. After my discharge, it was evident I could no longer care for him. Then, he became a permanent resident. His care, physically, emotionally, mentally, & spiritually, was excellent. He thrived with daily exercise & activities, the scenic bus rides, trips to favorite restaurants, musical entertainment, and numerous family events & dinners. The entire staff, starting with the administration, the incredible nurses & nursing assistants, dietary, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, & front desk concierge team, are outstanding! Our attorney said, “You picked the Best!”, and we agree. Our thanks to the Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls family for the kindness, caring, & compassion given to my sweet husband, our family, and myself.

Facility offers many activities, food is excellent, very clean, aides very helpful, transportation to Church. I would absolutely recommend Maplewood at Newtown to others!

The staff at Maplewood in Chardon are outstanding. My 84-year-old Mother had a second knee replacement after a fall in her house in Florida, Rehab was not going as well as hoped and I need to move her back to Ohio. My Mom could not stand nor get out of bed on her own. The Staff at Maplewood was able to get her a room and furnished it so I did not have to stress out on getting her furniture to Ohio while trying to get her transported from Florida. She was welcomed from day one. The staff helped her out when she needed it. She made a fully recovery and was able to walk and be self-sufficient in 8 months while enjoying all the activities Maplewood had to offer. The Staff was very friendly and made a point to visit whenever possible. Thanks Soo Much

I like the consistency of the staff and I love the common space and the apartment layout. Love that they use nice linens for the dining services. Very responsive to my questions. They have been wonderful at welcoming my Mother and taking care of her needs.

Look fwd to continue at this establishment and many years to come with my wife. We love being here with wonderful people here who take great care of us.

Moved here two months ago, exceeded all my expectations, and really quite happy here! Look forward to the future!

I like all the people here, they are very cordial, the personnel are first class. I always feel very comfortable and I am never bored. I look forward to happy hour and social events. I would say first class.

By in large the people are very friendly, no complaints about the food, however I miss NYC and the french restaurants but Maplewood provides an excellent dining experience. I love the programs they offer especially the fitness programs.

Mom had all her children and spouses taking shifts to be with her 24/7 for a few years. Health and a fall made this impossible. Maplewood not only helped us, but she thrived. As she declines, she does it with dignity and respect. We can her children, not caregivers. Thank you!

My experience was nothing short of amazing! When my nephew moved in my sister I was hesitant and honestly worrisome. However, after seeing her for the first time in a longtime, I saw how well she was acclimated to the community and how friendly and attentive the staff was. It was a very home-like feel. I knew that my nephew made the best decision by moving her there.
