Mom has been a resident for 3 years and from the very beginning, has felt welcome and cared about. The entire staff know her and clearly like her. As a social person, she thrives on the activities offered. We could not be happier with our decision to bring her here!

The facilities are impeccable. The staff is genuinely caring and highly professional. There are so many activities and amenities for your loved one to live their best life . This is a one of a kind community!

I am an attorney and frequently act as the court-appointed conservator for infirm individuals, often with memory care complications. I recently visited Maplewood in this capacity and was astounded by the level of care available locally. The Bethel facility is immaculate and every element is clearly well considered to accommodate and protect its residents. The staff I encountered were warm and inviting, but also knowledgeable about life at Maplewood. The rapport I observed amongst the residents and the Maplewood team felt genuine. During my tour, I had escorted access to the surprisingly large facility and was invited to view the calendar of events and curated menu. It was immediately apparent that Maplewood has the capacity and expertise to accommodate residents with complex medical concerns, at varying stages of life. I left feeling confident that residential life at Maplewood is comfortable, safe and enjoyable.

My aunt has been with Maplewood for just under a year now and we couldn’t be more pleased with the transition \ service! The staff is phenomenal and they offer a vast array of activities and outings! We love the community she has built and find peace of mind knowing she is in the best hands!

The hardest realization I had to accept was that I could not give my Mom the level of care that she needed living with me. I had such terrible guilt that I was unable to take on the task, and knowing it was only going to become harder as time went on. I called [name removed] at Maplewood at Danbury, on a rainy Saturday morning while I was at my grandsons soccer game. I was babysitting while trying to care for Mom, I was sobbing while explaining to her I had such shame that I couldn't give Mom the care she needed. She listened to me as I explained what I was feeling, and my sadness. She helped me through one of my hardest times, I will always be thankful for how she helped me emotionally. Maplewood at Danbury is truly one of the most lovely homes have ever seen. The staff are caring, friendly and really make you feel it's one family. Mom is in the safest place she can be, and I will always be so thankful that we have found a family away from home for our Mom.

I visited Maplewood a few weeks ago and had a great experience with [name removed]. I’ve been taking care of my grandmother but it’s becoming hard to lift her with my bad back. I also think she needs a more secure environment. I’m confident that this will be a good fit and I plan on moving forward after the holidays.

I struggled with in home care for my Mom who has dementia. I felt such guilt to have to move her out of her home. Moving her to Maplewood at Orange is the best decision my family and I could have made. She feels safe and has structure and in ways she has even improved. My family has peace of mind. We are so thankful. The staff is so loving, along with the management.

This was such a massive transition, and the decision was not made lightly. The senior has felt connected to peers and staff, is well cared for, and feels safe and comfortable. It has been a relief for my client and their family, and I would highly recommend this facility.

I have visited Maplewood at Weston many times. The building is beautiful, clean and the residents are always engaged when I'm there. On occasion I've brought my 2 year old and the residents always love to see her! They've played hide and seek with her and involved her in a balloon toss game. The associates are always friendly and have gotten to know us by name. Maplewood has a full calendar of activities and have great outings planned. I would definitely recommend Maplewood.

My Father was in the memory care neighborhood for a year before he passed and now my Mother is in the assisted living neighborhood for the last year and a half. I have nothing but great accolades about Maplewood at Orange.

I moved here while dealing with covid and the realization I needed peace of mind -far from my family.

I can get at night and get up in the mornings and expect a beautiful fday. It is different from what you are use to and where you have lived. Staff are ready to welcome me and other residents.
