Everything is good. All staff members are friendly. I participated in all activities and outings and I really like being here.

Maplewood has been a good experience for me. All of the staff are courteous and friendly and helpful. The dining room is well organized and the food prepared is yummy! When one resident was causing problems, he was moved to a different floor where he was better suited.

I don't want to move out! I am perfectly happy. They always help me remember what I forget and they are nice.

I have found it to be very gratifying and comfortable with all the people and its surroundings.

As a professional working with Senior Adults for nearly 40 years, it was easy to select the best memory care for my family member. Maplewood is a beautifully appointed location with a well trained and pleasant staff that truly enjoy their work. It's obvious in the care they provide for our loved ones.

The community is welcoming and friendly. Everyone has been so nice.I picked Maplewood because we loved the look, the friendliness, the staff was wonderful and caring. And I liked that the number of residents were on the smaller size and that everything was easy to find.

My grandmother was a resident at Maplewood at Orange. The staff was incredibly caring and professional and tended to her every need. The Executive Director and Nursing Director, as well as much of their staff, has incredible tenure amounting to over 50+ years at Maplewood at Orange. That is something that you don’t see anywhere. I am forever grateful for the compassion they show every day and am honored to have been a part of the Maplewood at Orange family.

We had our parent stay at Maplewood for respite care while recovering from a hip fracture. After the initial adjustment, we felt extremely comfortable and confident that we had picked the perfect place. In two short months, I learned the names of most staff and many residents by name. During my visits, I looked forward to greeting them to ask about their day. There is a true sense of community among the residents and staff and I witnessed many examples of the generous nature of the aides, nurses, administrators, and office personnel. One aide gave us a lesson on how to mover our parent from wheelchair into the shower, another took time to show me how to put the wheelchair legs on the chair. I could give countless examples of these helpful moments. However, the best compliment came from our Dad when he said,"I feel safe here." What better review than this?

My mom was living in her own apartment with some support. We started to see it wasn’t enough and she was really not doing well. Maplewood has given my mom a home with lots to do and so many people to help. They know her by name, they know her likes and her interests ,and constantly look out for her. My mom is thriving in her new apartment. There are activities all day and events to participate in. There are three meals beautifully prepared in their dining room. We chose Maplewood as it kept her connected to her community and provided the best support and safety we could ask for. We are truly grateful for all the staff and support and grateful that my mom is safe and happy!!!

My brother is on the memory care floor of Maplewood. The attention and devotion of the staff is outstanding. Each and every person goes above and beyond to give my brother a wonderful and loving yet guided and safe environment in which to live. The menu is lovely and the food is great. The dining room is set up with linen and flowers. Soft happy music plays in the hallways. The staff treats the residents like their own family. It's very moving to witness. Memory care is not easy. Maplewood's staff always has a smile on their face as they make it possible for residents with dementia to lead a full social life. No one is left out. It's one big family. It's important to know that the medical side of things is top notch. You have a SKILLED nursing staff at Maplewood with excellent Doctors. It's quite comforting to know the watchful care being given to my brother 24/7. The professionals at Maplewood are Angels on Earth and I am beyond grateful to each and every one. Thank you!

We had toured five facilities and Maplewood was by far , the best. It begins as a beautiful facility nestled on peaceful, natural grounds. As you enter, it’s warm and inviting and feels more like an upscale resort than an assisted living facility. Every member of the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful regardless of whether your loved one is assigned to them or not. There are plenty of activities and our mom has never been busier and active in years. The dining room is very comfortable and the food is so good that we try to schedule our visits around lunch or dinner. It’s best to compare and tour a few places but Maplewood will make your decision easy.

My Mom lives at Maplewood at Orange. From the moment we stepped foot in the door we felt welcomed and had a great feeling. It was not easy getting my Mom to agree to even look at Maplewood, but the Community Relations Director walked us through how to get her in to visit and once we did it was all success from there! My Mom has been at Maplewood for 2 months now and my family and I are so grateful. Keep up the great work Maplewood team!

It is a hard decision to finally move someone you love out of his home of 51 years & into a facility because he needs more care than you can handle. Maplewood Darien seemed to understand this from the very beginning & made our transition so much easier. From the day we moved my husband to the Currents Memory Care Unit, we were met with loving aids, a clean & safe environment & a list of activities tailored to meet his needs. I was always greeted with a smile at reception, Transport to doctor appointments was always pleasant. Whenever I visited my husband, the aids in memory care welcomed me, laughed with me & invited me to be a part of whatever activity was going on. I also appreciate the timely communications which kept me up o date on my husband's condition. There is true compassion at Maplewood Darien. Thank you Maplewood Darien.
