Maplewood Senior Living

My loved one is currently a resident at Maplewood at Brewster. Communication with the family is not good. There is little, if any, first hand communication from the support staff who provide care to the residents. The housekeeping needs a lot of improvement! The resident rooms look neat and clean, but proper handling of soiled linens and clothes is an issue. The meal are good and healthy. It's nice that the residents can see their choices rather than simply being handed a menu. The move in process was good. Overall, I would recommend Maplewood at Brewster to others but certainly would like to see improvement with housekeeping.

My grandfather has been living at Maplewood for almost a year and our family has nothing but amazing things to say about the facility and the staff. Before moving in, he had lived in my home with my husband and 3 small kids and we did our best to keep him there as long as we could, but his dementia was getting worse and then we all had Covid. While he was recovering from Covid, I started looking for a memory care facility for him that would allow him the freedom to be outside, participate in activities or not if he didn’t want to, and just allow him to be his self. He had just turned 93 and was set in his ways and Maplewood was accommodative to that. The staff that you see are their staff. There are no agencies which was very important to us. And they know the residents and the families. They not only take care of the residents but are super supportive to the families and bend over backwards for them, and this starts when you walk in the front door and literally expands to all staff.

My mom lived here for a little over a year and the staff was so wonderful and caring. My brothers and I can’t thank Maplewood at Orange Enough for all they did for our mom and family. This was also the third family member we had move to Maplewood !

We couldn't be happier that mom was able to move to her apartment. The talented staff is friendly, professional and attentive to every detail. The facilities are beautiful and made mom feel at home immediately. The care she receives has changed her (and our) life for the better. My Mom was in another facility, and she was not completely happy there. Since moving to Maplewood, she has enjoyed the food, activities like getting her nails done, and entertainment. She has also made new friends with other residents. The staff is very attentive and kind.

10 out of 10 would recommend for the quality of care, the friendly staff, and outstanding food/activities! The facility is beautiful and well kept too!

From the moment you walk in, you are treated as family. The level of care and quality of service does not change during your time there. Can't say enough great things about the cleanliness, the food, and also the caring staff.

This facility is well run by a happy professional staff. Our tour guide was able to answer all of our questions and made us feel total at ease about our family member living there. I wish we could have stayed for dinner the smell from the kitchen where wonderful.

The team at Maplewood is the best. They are caring and attentive, focused on the clients needs and that of the family support group. They listen, they respond and act quickly, and are genuinely warm and welcoming. Im very happy that we found a place that Dad likes, the food is excellent, and the neighborhood feel keeps him engaged.

I arrived ( after my house sold in 24 hours) in a hurry. The staff called me by my name and made me feel special. Apartment is beautiful in and out. Welcome arms.

Our mom has been living at Maplewood for the past 4 months. Ever staff member, nurses, aides, dinning, activities has been caring and helpful through her transition to her new space. We are so happy we chose Maplewood. The nursing staff at Maplewood is always attentive to my mom's needs and medications. With the abundance of daily activities my mom is engaged and has made new friends. We couldn't have chosen a better place for her to live.
