My Mom was in another facility, and she was not completely happy there. Since moving to Maplewood, she has enjoyed the food, activities like getting her nails done, and entertainment. She has also made new friends with other residents. The staff is very attentive and kind.

This facility is well run by a happy professional staff. Our tour guide was able to answer all of our questions and made us feel total at ease about our family member living there. I wish we could have stayed for dinner the smell from the kitchen where wonderful.

The team at Maplewood is the best. They are caring and attentive, focused on the clients needs and that of the family support group. They listen, they respond and act quickly, and are genuinely warm and welcoming. Im very happy that we found a place that Dad likes, the food is excellent, and the neighborhood feel keeps him engaged.

Our mom has been living at Maplewood for the past 4 months. Ever staff member, nurses, aides, dinning, activities has been caring and helpful through her transition to her new space. We are so happy we chose Maplewood. The nursing staff at Maplewood is always attentive to my mom's needs and medications. With the abundance of daily activities my mom is engaged and has made new friends. We couldn't have chosen a better place for her to live.

I felt like I didn't have any options, was experiencing some memory loss and wasn't coping well. My niece suggested Maplewood at Newton. I've been here seven months now an the transition was easier than I expected because everyone here is so very kind. Coming here was the best decision!

The Maplewood at Darien was the perfect solution for my 89 year old mom who was unable to live alone. In addition to having memory loss , my mom struggles with anxiety issues, the kind, compassionate and competent staff have embraced my sweet mom and created a community of care and purpose. I drop in all times of day and early evening and find my easily distractable mother engaged and comfortable. I highly recommend this very warm, professional environment to anyone who is struggling with the very difficult decision to find the perfect place for their loved one.
