Maplewood Senior Living

I have been to Maplewood several times as a client and as a professional. I was very impressed with the staff as well as the building which is very beautiful. I would highly recommend this assisted living to anyone in need of assistance as well as my family members. It reminded me of the four seasons, very classy.

I am very happy with all the activites. Especially love Catholic Mass here on Sundays.

Everyone is very friendly and nice to be around. It is a pleasure to be around people who are so nice. It makes things much nicer, thank you so much. And it makes things more enjoyable.

They treat all of us very well.

I have found Maplewood to be such a wonderful place. The staff is so caring - the activities are so great for so many. A kind, welcome place to be.

Mappelwood has become a family to our Mother. Mom moved into Maplewood about 5 years ago. Since then we have gotten to know the staff and residents very well. The Director [name removed], is always available to help with concerns, reach out with news and make all residents feel safe at Maplewood. The aides who help Mom have been wonderful. They Dress her ,meet her bathing needs, get [name removed] ready for bed and transfer [name removed] from a wheelchair to her bed or the toilet. It's not easy but they do a great job. The kitchen staff looks out for [name removed] and orders her things she likes to eat. The activities are run by [name removed] who is amazing filling the residents days with exercise classes... arts and crafts, theme parties and sing a longs with [name removed], who is the best!!! The Nursing staff keeps [name removed] healthy and lets us know if she is sick. We are lucky to have found a beautiful home in Darien for our Mom. The Staff and Residents have become family and we appreciate all they do.

My brother and I moved my mom into Maplewood about two years ago. The process was simple and easy. [Name removed] was very thorough with guiding us. And her care at Maplewood has been a relief to know there are caring and dedicated individuals who will address all of her needs.

My sister was in their rehab and could not go home so they offered her a respite in the assisted living. [name removed] was not only taken care of but thrived in the environment. When the 30 day respite ended, [name removed] decided to stay. We are relived that [name removed] is not only safe but very social as well. She loves the water aerobics and is going 3 times a week.

Mom had a fall and needed a safe environment after rehab. Maplewood was a wonderful option. The staff is caring and helped her in so many ways. Everyone is friendly and there is a strong sense of community among the staff and residents. Facility is beautifully maintained. Food is excellent. Our family knew that Mom was in a safe place with people who really cared for her.

If you are looking for a clean, friendly, beautiful environment for a loved one, Maplewood is the place. The staff is efficient, innovative, caring and loving to say the least. The facility is beautiful and the staff is equally as wonderful. I never thought i would be able to place my mother into a care facility and feel comfortable with the service she would be receiving, Maplewood has exceeded my expectations. My high school friend[name removed] suggested my family should take a look At Maplewood when he heard about my mom’s situation. We visited and were pleasantly surprised with what Maplewood offered. The entire staff has been very cooperative and supportive of my mom’s condition. The whole experience this far has been exemplary. Thank you

I moved in 4 years ago and I am so happy. I am so active now, and have many friends. They also made it safe during COVID. So happy I made the move here.

Activites is great and varied. Leader of activites is great and well qualified.

Really enjoy activities, and exercise class lectures are great, along with concerts.

My Mom has been at Maplewood for almost 3 years . I cant begin to express my appreciation to the staff at Maplewood for the care that they have given to Mom, it has been simply wonderful. My Mom is in the memory care unit there , and the staff's attention to her daily needs has been remarkable. Every time I go to visit her, the facility looks fantastic, Mom's room and living area is clean and well kept. Every person I speak with is pleasant, friendly and helpful. I have never worried about Mom's care or safety, she's been well taken care of. They say that Dementia patients live in the "moment' and every time I've spoken to Mom on the phone or been there to visit she's been happy. They have and continue to make Mom's time there truly a good experience for her and that's what matters the most! Thank you!

I was reluctant when I first moved here. Within the first day, my reluctance was gone. This living environment is terrific. The kindness and skills, from the kitchen to the staff, couldn't be better!

I was recently unexpectedly thrown into the responsibility of moving my 101 year old father from Indiana to Akron Ohio area. I had no experience with such a move. While looking through internet sites I came across Maplewood of Cuyahoga Falls, among others. My wife and I visited some 6-7 places which we thought might work. We both thought Maplewood was the place that clearly met his needs the best. I started the process, moved him, and have never regretted our decision. The building is very nice, is exceptionally clean, and very well laid out. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I have not once been disappointed. The move in, the maintenance staff, and the food staff are all friendly and completely competent. The nursing staff has been above and beyond in their effort to make his stay as home-like as possible. They have worked through medical issues that I brought with him from Indiana with competence, care, and timeliness. I could not recommend a more welcoming and wonderful place.

Mill Hill Residence is a great operation. Wonderful and dedicated staff. I highly recommend it.

I like mayflower. I think it's good. I like the layout. The people that work here are fantastic and I have a nice apartment.

Maplewood at Stony Hill did great! They are excellent for memory care and communicating with the family. The residents have choices for meals. There are lots of activities. I appreciate that the staff are able to get my loved one out of their room and involved in the activities. At a prior community, my loved one would stay in their room most of the time.
