The tour experience with Maplewood at Weston was great. The facility and staff were both very nice. We looked at a lot of places, and this facility was in my top 2 choices that we considered.

My mother lived at Maplewood for many years until her passing. She was loved by all and she loved everyone there. The staff was/is amazing and they treated her like she was their own mother. My mother thought they were her children and friends- which they were! When my siblings and I moved our mom to Maplewood we were looking for a well-staffed place that had healthy food and plenty of activities. It was important for us that she thought of the place as home. My mom still had the ability to communicate and enjoy herself and we needed her to feel like this was just a regular move with new neighbors. It worked! The key to making this a successful move is to move in early enough to enjoy the activities and outings while your loved one can! At Maplewood they keep the residents entertained all day and into the evening. They make friends and enjoy a full life. The food is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and so are the grounds and building. You get what you pay for!

Our parents, ages 89 and 94, moved into Maplewood at Newtown a year ago. Although it was initially an up and down journey for them to select a community, make a commitment to actually move, eventually sell their home, and navigate an independent living lifestyle -- they are now one year into their transition with absolutely no regrets. Maplewood at Newtown is a lovely facility with sincere, caring staff and plenty of activities. The staff is thoughtful and eager to accommodate their personal preferences to reflect their interests and habits. One example has been that our father was able to be a central contributor to the outdoor garden and there is now a "Green Thumb Club" which has been a lifesaver for him and also a great community-builder. They have met so many friends among both the residents and staff --and really are part of a community. There is always activity and others to be with right outside their door. Above all else, we, their children, are pleased they are able to age in

I have compared Maplewood to my Mom's last assisted living home in Florida and the difference is night and day. Maplewood's staff is attentive, accessible, and responsive. They are always on top of any issues or concerns to make things better or find a solution.

As a resident, I've had an excellent experience so far. It's a homey, friendly, warm and compassionate environment. I feel extremely comfortable here. The staff is terrific!

Our Mom was in horrible shape after a broken tail bone fall during the beginning of the pandemic. Staff and facilities was exceptional to our family and mom under some difficult circumstances. You made our decision easy and would highly recommend.

I visited Maplewood at Danbury and was able to meet some of the residents and staff who were all kind and seemed very happy. It was clean and well-kept and decorated nicely. I look forward to being back and meeting more people.

Maplewood at Danbury is such a warm and welcoming community. Everyone knows each other and is kind, but more importantly very welcoming. It's super clean and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend it to a loved one.

I like living here very much. The services, the help, the food is tasty. The family events are very good, with great menus. I've lived here 8 years and some of the staff is still the same. I've known them many years and appreciate how well they know me.

About a year ago, and quite unexpectedly, my father needed to move into an assisted living facility. As we went through the evaluation process of where to choose, it became apparent that my dad was going to need a higher level of care than many facilities could provide. Very quickly, my apprehension about the move turned to relief as I saw firsthand the high level of care and concern that is always shown by the staff. I live out of state, so it has been extremely difficult for me to manage dad's care, but time and again the staff has proven to me that I have nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this facility.
