place is beautiful, staff is professional. it's a community I have come to love.

moved in when building opened, [name removed] initially didn't want to leave home. [name removed] fell in love with the architecture; [name removed] smiled and he said "it looks great." Maplewood provides living space to seniors who are still cognitively present. "I never felt like anyone was talking down to us." [name removed] reads her activities list every day because she wants to be present and active, and spend time with our residents and staff.

my mom was a resident here for two months and I wish it had been longer. the care and genuine concern for her well-being were excellent. the aides and nurses are very kind and caring. the staff are extremely welcoming. this is a wonderful senior residence.

We chose Maplewood at Strawberry Hill because there were some younger residents here at the time which was important because of his age. His room size is great for his needs. My brother is the youngest person here so the activities are geared more towards the older population and he is having a harder time with that. I would recommend this facility to others.

my parents have lived here all of only one week and are having an outstanding experience. from [name removed] to [name removed] to [name removed] to [several names removed] - all outstanding and I know I am forgetting a few. we can't be any happier for our parents.

Having to move your family member into an Assisted Living location is not an easy decision. Mill Hill was not the first place we brought our Dad - the first location was a beautiful spot - but terrible service and care - and we were constantly getting increases and new fees. It was all about the money there. Mill Hill was an amazing move for my Dad - everyone cared for him, like a family member. It made the tough transition so much easier for us. Money was barely discussed and no hidden fees and increases like we experienced at the location in Plymouth. My Dad was in Memory Care - and this floor was bright, and clean and welcoming. The apartments are big and comfortable as well as the dining room. The staff, from the top down, are friendly, caring and well beyond communicative. They really care and it shows. If you are in the process of looking for a location for your loved one, Mill Hill is the place. Best of luck in your move.

This community is lovely, they took my info and the down payment for my loved one. Then they would not take him due to his condition being too much.

Overall, our tour at Maplewood at Mayflower Place was great. The staff, tour, and informational piece were very well done. They were very welcoming. When it came to a decision, it was mostly about location. We needed family support in the geographic area she would be in. Also cost and opportunities for socialization were a factor. But Maplewood was outstanding. They seemed to have a lot more options for activities and socialization going on at their facility than at other places we looked at.

Maplewood at Brewster is a beautiful facility, the people have been wonderful there and they have navigating all through the covid pandemic and limitations with flying colors. Our father tells us the food is delicious and he is very educated when it comes to food so if he says its delicious it is delicious. The staff have kept up constant and great communication with our family and they seem to offer a lot of options for residents as far as recreational activities, musical groups and movie nights. Overall we are very pleased

Maplewood provided great care for our family member. They helped navigate a difficult transition and connected us to resources and support. The care team was responsive and compassionate in their care of our loved one.

I toured Maplewood and thought it was absolutely beautiful! We chose another community because it was more economical. Maplewood did not fit into our budget.

We would absolutely recommend this community it others, our loved one was only there for [date removed] but he was the happiest we had seen him in weeks. This community is beautiful, it is like living in a country club. He really enjoyed being there, the staff members were great and we were just very happy with our experience.

Our family had an in person tour and it is a very nice facility, but it did not have that homey feeling to it that we were looking for. However, I am sure Maplewood that is completely capable of caring for your loved ones.

Best people that work at the Mill Hill from the Director, Director of Memory Care, Resident Services Director and all the nurses and Resident Services ASsistants (RSA's) and Director of Food Services. The staff is always around to assist all the residents that live there. They are part of our family. We love them all. There is a lot of recreation activities daily with laughter, singing and a lot of fun!

Maplewood at Twinsburg has given our family such relief, and in comparison to other facilities the value for the money is excellent.

My wife [name removed] health was declining and even with daily support from a caregiver, it all got to be too much for me to handle. We realized we needed to make a change. Maplewood at Chardon is the best community in the greater Cleveland area and I do not say that lightly. Before coming here I researched 12 other communities but they just didn't measure up. Here, [name removed] and I are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. The people are amazing. The staff is very attentive and caring. We have everything we could possibly need. Loving friends, diverse activities, and exceptional care. We couldn't be happier. The best decision we ever made!

It's easy to write a review when you can say positive things. Yes, I'm very happy at Maplewood and I'll list a few of the reasons why. The Executive Director - he's totally committed to our comfort and safety. The Lifestyle Director - she is pure genius at finding fun, educational, and just so many interesting things to do. The chefs and kitchen staff - they really try to give a varied menu, served in a pleasant atmosphere. The nurses, aides, housekeeping - truly professional, and so pleasant - always. Yes, I'm a fan of Maplewood - I have chosen it as my home - and I have CHOSEN WELL.

Maplewood at Southport is a fantastic facility in every way, the most important being their dedicated staff at every level, my loved one is looked after with kindness and compassion. The level of expertise is unmatched by other senior car living experiences. My loved one has dignity and agency. The programming is stimulating and safe. And their covid protocols have been incredibly effective at keeping the community safe and healthy.
