Uplifting feeling when I first entered. Pleasant lobby, concierge, number of varied activities and apartments - caring staff from top to bottom in all departments.

Friendly, caring people all staff from cleaners chef and help are great. That makes for a calm peaceful atmosphere which reflects staff in our attitude.

I love living here. The people who run this place are wonderful and the people who work here are great.

I live in a very caring and loving community and feel fortunate to be in a safe, loving community.

I have been here for 3 years ad forward. Concerned knowledgeable staff. Well run efficient transportation available. Interesting activities. Plenty of room to walk inside and outside area. Pool and gym - fitness center.

My parents decided to live at Maplewood after touring and considering several assisted living facilities in the area. While any transition of this type is challenging, the move was made easier by the patience and care of the Maplewood staff. Everyone from the receptionist to the servers are kind, upbeat, and extremely helpful and accommodating. The Lifestyle Director, [name removed], has been particularly important in keeping my parents busy with entertaining events and educational activities. There is a Garden Club, a Spanish class, a Book Club, as well as lively events each month to mark holidays. As a family member of a resident, I cannot express how comforting it is to know that my parents are so well cared for - with their medical, emotional, mental, and social welfare looked after by this lovely staff. As a family, we cannot recommend Maplewood of Newtown more enthusiastically.

My 89-year-old mother lived at Maplewood at Stony Hill for nearly a year. With Alzheimer's, a host of other chronic health issues, and a feisty personality, she needed attentive, professional, and respectful care. I was on site nearly every day to visit with Mom and saw first-hand that her care was top-notch. Maplewood cared for her whole person with activities, music, and excellent food in addition to close, careful monitoring of her physical well-being. Everyone--front desk staff, nursing, caregivers, chefs, housekeeping, management--truly cares for the residents and their families, and were responsive to any special or specific needs. Excellent care, excellent activities, excellent facilities.

While they are understaffed as most facilities are, Maplewood Newtown manages to serve the residents with care and professional help. The wait staff and maintenance workers are very good ([name removed]is the manager of the kitchen staff and does a superb job). Our aides are excellent (though we need more of them). Management could be more visible.

I am an entertainer and perform full-time performer at Senior living facilities. Maplewood at Weston is surely one of the nicest.

Even though my husbands stay at Maplewood was short, we could feel the connection being made between patients, and staff immediately. We sensed the compassion given to our beloved [name removed] until the moment our Lord came for him. We came to Maplewood not knowing anyone but left with all of you becoming members of our family. We know it takes a special person, to do what you do daily, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You were a part of [name removed] most difficult days of life here on earth but you also made this time easier for him and our family. Thank You so much.

I've got the chance to visit this great property and talk to the executive team there. They helped to give me a thorough tour and I have the chance to see how happy and peaceful when the residents are living there. When I talk to the team, I could feel that they care the residents genuinely.

Maplewood at Stony Hill is a wonderful place! Our family was looking for a nice place for my husband who has early onset dementia. We were impressed with Maplewood the minute we visited. The fact that it is a memory care facility hit home for us because we did not want him to be in a place that did not know how to care for or understand dementia residents. Maplewood gets it!! The staff is great. They are both caring and knowledgeable. I find it amazing that they can get to know the residents as well as they do (the good and not so good parts) LOL! The food is great and residents are always given a choice. If the resident does not want either choice that is on the menu there is always a substitute available (for my husband its usually PPJ or BLT). Maplewood at Stony Hill is an aesthetically beautiful place. The people that work there are equally as beautiful inside and out. They should be commended for what they do, it is not easy. Staff here are amazing!!! Thank you all!!

I give them 5 stars all the way around. The staff is fabulous and the facility is sparkling clean. Our family member we moved here was angry and irritated before. She is now so calm and happy and I really believe it is from the environment as well as the staff, I give them major credit. Here in the memory care unit they actually take the residents out on the van to parks and other places and we really like that. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

Toured memory care very impressed with the staff. Residents were engaged not just sitting. The outside park was inviting.

Beautiful building, reception very welcoming. Upon tour, residents were in the upscale salon receiving nail and hair services.

Maplewood at Brewster has been fantastic regarding Assisted Living for my mother. She had lived in assisted living for the past five years. My mother was well cared for and kept safe during the most difficult times this past year. The nurses at Maplewood got to know my mother and her needs. They were supportive, knowledgeable, and kind. I completely trusted their care, compassion, support, and love for her. Maplewood is a beautiful facility Her apartment was sunny with high ceilings. The maintenance staff was fantastic and fast when anything needed to be fixed. The dining room is a beautiful space for the residents to be together and eat. There are always many options for eating, and the food was delicious. The staff is truly fantastic, from the dining room servers to the daily concierge. They all took the time to get to know my mother and make personal connections with her. I am so grateful to all of the staff at Maplewood of Brewster.

I recommend Maplewood very highly. love it there. Everyone is so wonderful and helpful in answering your questions. They don't give you a line of baloney - they just tell you how it is. They have all sorts of activities, anything you would21` want to do. It's expensive, but still a good value, especially compared to what other places are charging. It's just a wonderful place.

We chose Maplewood at Twinsburg because of their experience with the elderly and dementia care. The staff were all very friendly, the facility itself was clean, and they had many activities provided throughout the days for the residents. We liked that the staff seemed well trained and that they do not use agency staff.

[name removed] has been such an incredible gift to our family and the care of our dad, [name removed]. She’s not only highly skilled in what she does, but patient, personable, upbeat and truly caring about the overall wellness of our dad and the other Maplewood residents. She continually goes above and beyond and has been such a mainstay and steady presence in our Dad’s day to day living, through the death of our mom, the pandemic, and the ups and downs of what it means to be 91. We consider [name removed] an integral part of Dad’s overall health AND to the Maplewood experience. She is a treasure.
