Staff is extraordinary, passionate, and competent. Meals are generally excellent with an occasional miss where food is not hot.

Maplewood is an absolutely amazing place. My wife received wonderful care. The staff is so kind and caring to everyone. It has to be the best place of it's kind anywhere.

From the moment I stepped into this community, I felt the warmth and friendly atmosphere. Employees care about the residents and each other. There is a true sense of community that sets this place apart from the rest. Residents are also very kind and supportive to one another, always eager to welcome the newcomers

The dining staff is amazing and the meals are good. I have met a lot of amazing residents that I can join for our great activities. The surroundings are very pleasant. I really like it here.

I think Maplewood at Newtown is a wonderful place. What I appreciate the most is the friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, and everyone makes me feel like I'm at home!

I love that everything is done for me! The cooking, the cleaning, and the entertainment. This is a wonderful place to be.

I moved from a home I had been in for 50 years, with a river and memories of grown children. Maplewood quickly turned into my new home. The great feelings and creature comforts start with the executive directors and the feelings of camaraderie spread to the staff and residents.. Maplewood is a place of love. Fulfilled physical needs good. Any senior would blossom here.

When I first had to leave my mother in the care of others, I had many concerns and questions. However, those concerns quietly faded away when I met and spoke to the outstanding nurses, staff and administrators at Maplewood. The beauty and cleanliness of the facility were the first things that made an impression. Then it was the welcoming and friendly nature of everyone from the person at the front desk to the lovely people in the dining room. Every time I visit my mother, the warmth and genuine concern for her well-being is visible in the way she is dressed, her continual interest in being part of every day activities, and the updates I receive from the Executive Director, nurses, doctors and therapists. When you leave a loved one in the care of others, it is comforting to have a place like Maplewood where my mother is as special to them as she is to me

Great service and great food. The residents are well cared for and the care is well adjusted for each resident’s needs. The staff is fantastic, from the front desk, to the nursing crew, to the dining services, to management.

My in-laws have been residents of Maplewood for two years. I have found the administration very helpful with any questions we may have. My in-laws have adjusted very nicely and seem to be very well adjusted.

The staff at this location are not only very professional they are also empathetic with all the residents and visitors they encounter i couldn’t wish for a better place for my family member to be cared for.

it was more expensive and a good location. It was a community with bigger rooms. They offered more, than what was needed for my loved one.

I really love the staff. If for any reason I had to leave, I would really miss each one of them. I also like the size of this community. Many places, on the order of this one, are so large. I also like the executive director [name removed] She makes herself available to talk to often.

My dad is in the nursing home and my mom is in an independent apartment. My mom can see her husband every day without leaving the building. The goal was to keep them together and we have honored their wishes. My mom can go see our dad and then enjoy time with her friends at the independent community. She still has an active social life and is no longer a caretaker. As a family we are beyond happy with this community and the staff.

The facility and staff are the best. Since day one, everyone treated my dad with kindness and respect. He really liked everyone that came in to help him. I was happily surprised at how quickly they responded when he rang the bell in his room and their smiling faces always cheered him up. Thank you all for the great way you helped Dad.

The cleanliness of the community is amazing and the meals are just delicious, and they have really nice activities. We think the overall value of the community is excellent. We really like the attentiveness of all the staff members there, and also the resident's they are all so very kind to our loved one.

From the moment I walked into Maplewood I felt it was a great fit for my mother. I work full time and after my father passed away I was my mother's social organizer. She has lived at Maplewood for over 4 months and is always attending a program or going to an activity. She has met some lovely new friends and is never in her apartment! The staff is wonderful too! My sister's and I feel relieved to know that she is safe and loves her apartment!

We brought our aunt to Maplewood in [date removed]. We loved it from the first visit. We were so thankful that she was safe and well cared for during COVID. The Administration and Staff are wonderful. They care for our aunt like she is their own family. When we visit they always take time to give us updates, they are responsive when we have concerns or questions. So grateful for a wonderful community!

We really like and appreciate the respect and quality of care they give the residents and also the quality and engagement that comes with the activities.
