Maplewood Senior Living

My Mom has lived at Maplewood at Twinsburg now for more than four years. Overall we are very happy with our decision to move her here. The things we like for her the best are: wonderful dining atmosphere, food quality and menu choices, A varied daily schedule of activities, stressing social, spiritual, educational, fitness and creativity skills, cleanliness of common areas and individual rooms, attention to her medical needs and providing her medications, convenient onsite scheduling of services such as beauty salon, therapy and primary care doctor and nurse practitioner visits. The facilities are also well maintained. There is transportation provided for field trips as well. The services are provided by caring and dedicated staff.

Admitted elderly mother who was extremely weak following Covid attack. Admittance processes were streamlined and expedited to transfer mother from hospital to facility. Staff's professional care of physical therapy, good nutrition and a restful caring environment brought her from near fatal status to a fully recovered 90-year-old lady who regained, even exceeded her prior healthy status. I credit Maplewood facility and staff with saving my mother who is now enjoying life again as a physically and mentally healthy senior citizen.

I thought Maplewood at Southpoint was great. It was a little bigger than we thought would suit our loved one's needs. But I loved the people there, and I loved the building. They were definitely on our list for consideration.

The staff is very caring and keeps all of the patients engaged and happy. The food is great. And the building is clean. My mom loves it there.

Maplewood at Weston gets 5 stars all the way around - they were terrific. They are a compassionate, professional facility that has taken great care of my mother and they always keep us well informed.

The Memory Care center at Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls has been amazing for my grandmother. We did not recognize how much she needed the activity, structure, and engagement that their memory care programming provides when she was at a prior assisted living until we got her there. It is outstanding! Additionally, [name removed] ensured the smoothest transition for her and for my family with her move, when assisted living was just not working for her any longer. We are happy and grateful for the care that she receives from their staff- from the management to care providers. I highly recommend Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls!

My Mom really enjoys living here, she is very happy because she is very well cared for. It's a n amazing place whit great people and excellent food. I highly recommend this community.

They have a handbook but it was hard to figure out who was in charge of what. The people at the front desk were very very helpful if you have any questions. If I had to describe the facility to someone, I would say it is like living at a luxurious Marriott with lots of things geared toward the people who live here. It feels like a hotel in a way but they have tons of activities. They have 1-2 concerts a week, exercise classes, a pool, games, etc. Some of the apartments are much smaller than others, but they are the same price as the large ones. It worked out just fine for us, but it is just a little odd. When she was hospitalized and came back she needed oxygen, we did have to hire someone to be there 24/7. The dining room is very nice and the food is excellent, they have nice white table cloths and flowers on the tables. If you want, you can eat in your room, you just order your food and you go pick it up and there is no charge. If you want it delivered there is a fee. The wait staff know the residents so well that they would immediately bring them what they want to drink without even having to ask. They had choices on the menu for meals but then they have an alternate menu that you can always order from. The deserts are very good as well. It is expensive, but I really feel that you get what you pay for. I really believe I made the right choice for having my mother here. It is a very highly educated population.

Maplewood at Darien exceeded my expectations on all levels. What really distinguishes this community is how attentive and responsive the staff is. They go above and beyond to welcome new community members and remain attentive to their individual needs as they may change along the way.

I have lived in this community for 6 months. All of the staff, housekeeping, culinary, has been extremely supportive. [name removed] has planned many activities that I have found to be creative and hands on. She is well organized and as a former elementary teacher I understand all her time and effort. I appreciate all who are involved. I recommend this facility to my friends. I have enjoyed the weekly bus trips and the availability of the library is always. The director [name removed] is awesome.

Maplewood is a place that feels like home for the residents, the staff are all friendly and they all care for the residents as though they were family. The place is always very clean and you can tell they care care for the residents’s health. They have entertainment programs almost every day, lots of music and even trips to different places which keeps everyone engaged. Whenever I talk to the residents, they always seem happy and I highly recommend to come and visit to see for yourself how wonderful Maplewood is.

We had a really good first impression with Maplewood at Danbury, we just had a good feeling about it and we were happy that was our decision. Based on the experience we had we would recommend this community to other families

After looking at many different living situations, 7 years later we are still convinced our parents made the right choice in moving to Maplewood at Weston. The staff has been very supportive and caring with one staff person going above and beyond in assisting our Dad. After moving to Maplewood the Fitness Director eased him into a workout regime that includes riding a bike. He now religiously attends the gym 3x per week and the workout, and unique personal support and encouragement the Fitness Director provides him, has made a big difference in his health and overall well being. This was especially evident after he was grieving the death of our Mom, and during the pandemic/COVID lock down. The fitness director has also been a great support in other ways as well, including encouraging his poetry writing and providing occasional technical assistance with his computer/copier. This is one of many examples of how caring and attentive the staff are at Maplewood.

I always tell others that I would do a girls weekend here! It's a wonderful facility, they offer so much for the people. It's really wonderful and beautiful. They have exercise classes, a movie theater, and they always have entertainment. They have a few different courtyards that have stonewall with waterfalls. There's always some sort of class going one everyday, there's live music, and a bar with a happy hour. There's all kinds of activities for different walks of life, there's something for everyone at Maplewood at Orange.

This is a thriving, welcoming community where the staff works as a team to address the comfort and needs of its residents. The atmosphere is caring and friendly. Come take a tour.
