What stood out the most - Value for price. Most places are double the price of SVM. Most of the aides are very nice and kind. They are caring and patient. However, as with any place, there has been some things stolen, few bad aides. The activities aides are wonderful. Mom goes to most activities and has made many friends.

The living spaces are spacious and clean. The staff is reliable to provide medication daily. The staff is reliable for providing bathing assistance. The dining room rooms are large and bright. The Meals are adequate. The physical therapy was very beneficial. Social activities are pretty basic. This would be an area that could benefit from improvement.

Staff was helpful when asked questions and attentive to my loved ones needs and patient when times were difficult Administration was efficient and expedited paper work to get my loved one place

Saucon Valley Manor is more affordable than other places I looked at. It may be older, but the care is excellent. Also, they tour you on the bottom floor which is a little darker. My mom's floor was much brighter and nicer than the section they toured me in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The activity director is fantastic & my mom loves the activities. The owner is wonderful and knows all the patients which is so impressive. My mom has a big room with her own bathroom. We have been very happy at Saucon Valley Manor.

Having different levels of care at 1 facility was very helpful. As her health declined they were able to move her to a different area with increased care. The rooms are nice. Even with a roommate it felt more like an apartment than a care facility.

The staff was wonderful . They went above and beyond to make my wife feel loved and comfortable . All were great people . They treated her with respect and care. Health and cleanliness of the residents was always foremost in their daily duties

For the cost and location, Saucon Valley has worked out well for us. Very satisfied with the staff.

Bring as much of the resident's own furniture, knickknacks, photos, etc, as feasible. The more you can make it feel like their own space, the happier they will be.

There were genuine and caring improve in cleaning, but yes we would recommend Saucon Valley Manor to other families.

I would recommend to others. All the staff has been super nice to my mother and it's a good fit for her. Their memory care unit was the most reasonable in the valley and we needed that.

Staff very friendly sometimes a language barrier. We didn't get to pick the apartment they show you an equivalent then put you in whats available without seeing options. My moms fan is broken and she has asked several times to have it fixed and the guy doesn't fix it.

It would be good to be able to make online payments (it's 2025, most places have this as an option verses writing a check & mailing monthly). Room sizes and amenities offered are good and they have been good with communication with the family.

My mom has made friends and I get along well with the staff. It's no problem to take her some place as long as you make arrangements with the home. They help me explain things to mom about different situations as she has dementia. They do her laundry and clean her room 2 times a week. Which helps me a lot.

I would truly recommend the complex. We picked this community because of the price, location, the staff and the room size and convenience.

The staff was caring, experienced and was available when needed. The overall community was welcoming and had many planned events for all to attend.

Saucon Valley Manor may not look as nice as some places out there, but it is a safe place for Mom to get the care she needs. The communication is great, I text a lady at the front desk Mom needs something, there is someone in her room in 5 minutes! Mom went in hospice, the Family Pillars organization that runs the Hospice for Saucon Valley Manor is wonderful. Mom has her own aid five days a week, she can get the supplies that she needs. My mom is actually thriving there. She was a home in her home for three years and could no longer be by herself, and it was the best place for her.

The activities do not apply as the patient is bed bound. The care during week is good - Weekend sometimes appears to be understaffed.

They definitely need to do more activities and the food could be better. My mom is not that picky and often doesn't like the food. The staff do treat their residents very well and are very friendly. The owner is good about helping with any issues I may be having with things that may come up with my mom.

Staff was compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly. As far as the food goes, they should serve less pizza. More meatloaf and good soups.
