Her apartment is very nice, and fairly clean. Most of the staff is very attentive and very caring. Most the food is good, she doesn't complain about that too much. They have lots of activities some of which she participates. It helps to keep her social.

Mom is happy. That's what's most important. The staff is calm even in difficult situations. Mom is in memory care. Not a lot of activities but not many could participate. Some exercise would be nice but Mom walks a lot. Mom likes the food and has gained some weight which is good. Like most places, staff shortages or callouts are a problem. They do the best they can.

Overall experience went well. Mom likes it there, except she is bored. Very clean facility, workers are very helpful. She likes getting her hairline once a week, but they don't always remind her, or she forgets because of short term memory. She says meals are good, but does not remember what she ate. She needs help in the shower, but she will not ask. Like the idea of a call button around her neck if she needs help.

I feel that it is a good value for the care my mom received. The staff was kind and did a really good job caring for my mom. She was happy there. The activities director planned nice activities that my mom always participated in and enjoyed. The owner is excellent and very involved. She really knew my mom which I appreciated. Her communication is excellent. The building is a bit older compared with others we looked at. However, we were very happy with the care she received.

Saucon valley manor was excellent. Very warm and communication was great. Good management- Very much recommend. It's clean and comfortable.

Overall good -nothing is perfect. My Mom is in a much better place than being home alone. I feel she is doing more now than she has for many years. The only draw back is the size of the room. Thank you! My daughter said "Mom mom likes the residents " and the food is very good! There are a lot of activities.

The building and accommodations are a little old but otherwise it's a very nice place. Very spacious rooms . The staff was wonderful with my mother. I feel they went above and beyond, trying to accommodate her needs. A little disappointed with communication with the office staff.

When they have enough people it's good but when they don't, things tend to not get done. My Mom will need Medicaid available facility because her money is running low.

The food is good, the staff is friendly and responsive. Wellness staff is responsible.

The staff at the facility is very helpful, and cares about the patients. Patients being my word for those under their care, though it may not be the right word

Staff is good She is now on hospice care floor so I get more updates from hospice nurses Activities are great even though she would not participate but did see other residence enjoying Food is fine but with her dementia she isn't eating much anymore.

What I like the most about this community is the ease of medication, taken care of by Med Tech. Care from the residents Aids. And friendliness. Transport to appointments.. Availability of drinks. The people, nurses, med techs , Aids , transfer Drivers.

Staff is great. Food is good. Experience in dining room is good. Activities need improvement.

This is a nice old town . It's a nice walk in any direction. Seniors can ride the Public Transportation. Bus for free. Pharmacy , Bank , Library , Parks are close . I'm in Independent Living. But if I ever need Assisted Living or Nursing home help that is all available here in the 3 buildings at this location. I enjoy living here at Daucon Valley Manor in Hellertown, Pa. I'm a Resident here for 1 year now .

Most of the staff is very very compassionate and friendly and helpful. My mom's biggest complaint there is that other residents walk in and out of her room and if she keeps it locked then she has to find somebody to unlock it every time she comes and goes. Otherwise she says it's okay there. She is in the memory care unit. Which is a little different. And she does have to ask for everything because they do not let them have anything, not toothpaste nothing. And unfortunately for my mom she's very highly functioning so it's a little frustrating. Food is good and she is adjusting well so they must be doing enough of the right things

What stood out the most - Value for price. Most places are double the price of SVM. Most of the aides are very nice and kind. They are caring and patient. However, as with any place, there has been some things stolen, few bad aides. The activities aides are wonderful. Mom goes to most activities and has made many friends.

The living spaces are spacious and clean. The staff is reliable to provide medication daily. The staff is reliable for providing bathing assistance. The dining room rooms are large and bright. The Meals are adequate. The physical therapy was very beneficial. Social activities are pretty basic. This would be an area that could benefit from improvement.

Staff was helpful when asked questions and attentive to my loved ones needs and patient when times were difficult Administration was efficient and expedited paper work to get my loved one place

Saucon Valley Manor is more affordable than other places I looked at. It may be older, but the care is excellent. Also, they tour you on the bottom floor which is a little darker. My mom's floor was much brighter and nicer than the section they toured me in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The activity director is fantastic & my mom loves the activities. The owner is wonderful and knows all the patients which is so impressive. My mom has a big room with her own bathroom. We have been very happy at Saucon Valley Manor.
