Manors of the Valley

[name removed]'s room was great. We were able to arrange her furniture to accommodate her wheelchair so she could get around. We found the facility to be clean. The staff was mostly friendly, with some being better with [name removed] on her uncooperative days than others. She was depressed when she came to you, and I did not feel that this was always taken into account on her difficult days. Overall, the quality of care was very good. She was in and out of the hospital a number of times, and the staff helped make those transitions easier. The administrative staff was excellent. They were always available to answer questions and helped us navigate every part of [name removed]'s stay. We felt that [name removed] received excellent value at Saucon Valley Manor. Because of the great care [name removed] received, one of her family members now has parents staying there as well.

We have had a great experience. All of the staff is professional and caring. The assisted living facility is great. I would recommend it to anyone. My only issue is that my husband (68 y) is 12 yrs younger than the next youngest- but that was true of all the places we went. Food is varied and healthy. They seem responsive to any complaints/requests. My husband has therapy at Good Sgephetd and sometimes they have trouble getting him there BUT Good Shepherd actually comes to Parkland Manor for therapy, my husband is a wierd situation Medical staff is busy , but responsive and friendly

From my few dealings I would say 5 as the few folks I have dealt with have been great. Her apartment is nice everything is clean they have lots of activities. My sister [name removed] complains a bit about the meals but my older sister [name removed] thinks it's because of others complaining. [name removed]'s cognitive ability is not the greatest.

Mom has a large room, her own bathroom, small refrigerator and microwave. Plenty of activities, but chooses not to participate. She has not fallen since she moved there, and wears a alarm around her neck in case she needs help. Price of the place is always a factor. Not sure she has the money for the rest of her life. Other then that. everything is good. Mom has her own vacuum and pretty much cleans herself, but they do clean her room and bathroom and empty her trash. Her mobility is limited and she has very little short term memory.

Like any place family needs to be involved I am there very often at times everyday. They definitely know who I am and you need to speak up . I do plan on doing some research about helping the food get better it is nothing to right home about . As far as I am concerned it is edible, and some aides are better than others . There was a medtac along time employee and she wasn't very nice to me and also the staff so I complained about her and she wasn't very nice moved to another floor with less contact with the residents. The owner does listen to me. I will say. I am there a lot and am the type to speak up. I think at times they are short handed and aren't always quick to respond to the call button.

[name removed] was very helpful, [name removed] and all staff at Saucon Valley Manor were very friendly and patient with both my dad and my step sister who did not want to leave her home.

The administrator is fantastic. Very responsive to any questions I have To sum it up the best, my mom is very happy

We love SVM! The activities are fun, engaging, and promote friendships! The "field trips" allow guest to experience freedom, and they have PT, OT, and Speech Therapy on site!

All staff have been very helpful in accommodating our family members' needs. They are a joy to work with.

The place is very nice - all the people have been great and helpful. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

The community is well maintained and they worked with us to make our financial situation work. We are supporting my sister in this transition to supported living.

What we like the most about the community is that all of the people that work there are extremely friendly, attentive and caring. Yes, we would recommend Bethlehem Manor Senior Living to other families based on the experience.

I feel the staff is friendly and they communicate well with the family. They always call if there is an issue to keep us informed. My father in laws room is very spacious. He has a double bed, 2 chairs, and a desk with room to spare. Also large bathroom and kitchenette as well as large closet. He has plenty of room.

Perfect place for anyone looking for a combination of safety and companionship. Staff are always helpful friendly professional. 24/7 peace of mind knowing that mom has someone to help her say or night.

I would recommend to others looking for a care facility. Well managed. Good value.

I was a RN for 42 years and was a Director of Nursing in a facility similar to Whitehall Manor. Whitehall Manor is the best!! The services and activities offered are the great. I, as a retired RN of 42years, can't think of a better place to reside. You move into an independent resident unit and can finish your stay in a care unit. As I said before, I highly recommend the facility.

I have seen other senior living, places and nursing homes, and this place is by far the absolute best place. We were looking for placement for a brother-in-law, and he is very happy, moving in six weeks ago. The people are caring, the place is clean, they have daily activities for them to join in, I was very impressed with this place. If you’re thinking of placing a loved one in senior living, check this place out.
