I would recommend Ansley Parke at Orange City to a family if their loved one's memory is not too bad. It is not a locked unit and my Dad would sometimes wander. I was actively involved with this issue. I put a GPS in his walker so that I could find him with my cellphone. That part I don't miss!

I would recommend Quillen Manor but I'm not crazy about the food. It's good but it's institutional food.

My loved one is currently a resident at Windrush Assisted Living and the overall experience at this facility has been good. The facility was just sold to the new owners this month. They do have high staff turnover. However, overall, I would recommend Windrush Assisted Living to others.

The care for the residents is genuine. They look out for everyone as though they are their own family. My brother's time was short lived but he was treated with dignity. I would use this facility again if needed.

Sunabella is a great place for my mom and she loves it there. Very caring people. Even though mom fell and broke her hip I still feel that way enough that she will go back after rehab. Regardless of where a dementia patient might be accidents will happen

We moved my mom into Ansley Glen in [Date Removed] and she now calls it home. We could not have chose a better assisted living center for mom. The staff and residents have made her feel at home. My mom, loves sitting outside in the courtyard, watching the birds and turtle.

Make sure you visit love ones very regular basis.

The Wellington Manor Staff are caring, patient, and compassionate people, making your loved ones feel right at home. Two of the RA`s took the initiative to help my ninety-seven-year-old Mother in being able to walk on her walker again. This was a great achievement as it boosted her confidence level and increased the blood flow in her feet. The Activity Director is a hands-on, creative, charismatic, and enthusiastic person getting the residents involved in all of the activities. The monthly dinner events have different themes, music, and gourmet food that bring the Staff, Residents, and families together in a safe comfortable environment. Wellington Manor offers a variety of room layouts to meet the needs of the Senior. The outdoor green grounds are beautifully manicured and have a natural flow around the buildings on several sidewalks. There is plenty of ample parking. They offer an on-site hair salon and hair stylist. We recommend that you bring your Senior family member to see it.

It was a lovely time but unfortunately due to it being an assisted living and in the state of TN, they are no longer able to care for my father who needs full assistance. I wished this was notified to me sooner and as his mobility got worse. Now I'm scrambling to find a nursing home that's available asap, as he's stuck in bed until we do.

The family at the time was really welcoming, knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. It made the transition for my mom less anxious. The rooms are clean, great size and new appliances. The facility is clean and they have gotten better with the smell in the lobby which at time was very strong with a pee smell. When we signed up part of amenities was weekly transportation but that has not occurred since she moved in 2 months ago. There has also been staff changes including the director and no one returns calls except if you call to pay the rent. Overall, it serves my mom’s needs for the relative low cost compared to other communities.

My experience with the community, just to let you know there is not a lot of communication between me and the community. Most of my communications come from hospice.It seems to me that once she went on hospice care, they relaxed a lot of their nurses duties. But it is a very good nursing home.

Their role in his hospice care was outstanding. The care they gave towards the end was instrumental in helping us accept the inevitable. The fact that they honored him on his wall of veterans and gave us his final portrait was very touching. It helped his grandchild (our kid) towards the end too.

The ppl who work at AH are kind and helpful. Matthew and Alicia are wonderful. My dad tells us that the food is so good. The facility doesn't smell bad and always seems very clean. We are thankful to have our loved one safe and happy at AH.

The staff are excellent at communicating. They find a way to address any concerns that the family may have. The housekeeping is good, move-in process was quite easy and my mother, who is very fussy about food, really likes the food. I would recommend this facility. It's a good value.

People were really good to mama ..Clean with lots to do. Just didnt like paying for services not provided. Mama had a broken arm. So help would have been good.

The facility is clean and inviting. I would live there if I needed to. I love all the staff members who I have had dealing with for my mom's care especially Dee. Angie is always so happy and helpful on the weekends. [name removed] did an excellent job when I was looking for a safe new home for my mom. Mom's move in was less than ideal but things seem to have settled down. Now if the facility can improve the taste of the food and use spices to help I think the residents would be much happier. They may be elderly but they still have taste buds.

My loved one was a resident at Mars Hill Manor. We loved the staff. They were very friendly and were great about taking my Mom to meals and tried to get her to go to activities. We wished we had moved her when she was more motivated to do things or make friends. They were great with communication. I could call and leave messages and could even text the director. They were quick to get my Mom started with the local physician for any minor needs or for monitoring her medications. Housekeeping was good. They kept her bed linens and towels clean and her room was always clean. They were more of a country cooking kind of place meals. And while my Mom had been around country cooking all her life, she did not like gravy so that was the only think I ever heard her complain about. But when we talked to them, they made sure she didn't get gravy on anything. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

Staff seemed willing and friendly. There were many activities. There were too many sandwiches served for inactive people. Overall I think they did a good job and I would recommend them to others.

I liked it much better after visiting another place. I've already given info and a couple recently moved in on my reference. I love it here.

Our experience has been generally good. I wish they made more effort to get residents involved with other residents and the activities.We chose the Oaks for cost, location, and first impression of the staff.
