She is in independent living. The food is a little bit lacking. I don't know if it is quality or whatever, but I hear complaints about that. She moved to a smaller apartment and she has a kitchenette, but she gets three meals a day included. I know that there are a lot of activities, but the only thing that she really does is Bingo. They have transportation, and she has started using that for the store and the doctor. She likes the people, and she has made friends. We've had a good interface with everyone there.

The patient to staff ratio is really good. The facilities, particular the Alzheimer's/memory care unit, is very good. The food is pretty good too. The staff seems willing to do anything they can to help out. Most of the facilities in the area tend to use prescription bubble packs and charge extra money for that although Wellington Place ahs a thing worked out with the pharmacy that provides some additional help for veterans and veterans' spouses.

I think everything that they're doing is very good. They have lots of activities like bingo, people come in that play music and people coming in from ministries. Then they have sewing activities where they put quilts together and things like that. The meals are very good. They're well balanced.

Their administrators were far more realistic and forthcoming. It was very similar to the one in AIken, their idea's the same, it's a chain, the idea is a good one and the difference was the administrators were much more straight shooters. It's bigger, but the way they break it up is rooms placed around a circle so the person in the center has a certain number of doors they watch and it's the same ration of staff to people.

We chose Harborchase of Columbia because of the convenient location it provides for our family. It is located right off a very nice housing development and has easy access to the highway. The value we got here was better then what we would have received at other communities we looked at. There is some place of high traffic that could use a little more cleaning but overall it is a very good community and we would recommend it to anyone.

This is my first experience with a Memory Care Facility and I am satisfied. Marsh View Senior Living was competitively priced and the staff is very friendly.

In my town, nice people and affordable. Nurses are really good, nice and kind. Activities are great. Something to do everyday. Food is really good. Good choices and they provide snacks. The room is a nice size and they keep the facilities clean and smelling good.

Overall experience is good. Staff is nice but personal belongings go missing and are mixed up with other residents even with all items labeled. Need more activities. Care seams to be good. Could be a little more clean. Don't know about the food. Room size is good.

The staff and management are very involved with their residents. They go out of their way to help. They are very understanding and treat everyone with respect and care. They have rooms in various sizes to meet the needs of everyone. The facility is clean with areas for recreation and entertainment. I didn't check on the food when I visited. I would recommend the community to others.

Overall good in all areas. The custodian is very conscientious to cleaning floors and bathroom. They are undoubtedly understaffed, but for the monthly cost of keeping my brother there, it is reasonable. The staff are chipper and really work with a heart of caring for the residents. That would be a 4.5 rating. It is a no frills with this facility . They have an activity director who does a fine job. There are strict guidelines in what one can bring in and leave in the rooms. Rightly so. There is some disconnect with what my brother has in his personal box , located in the nurses station closet. Soap , candy and nabs of goodies and essentials . They cannot get to his box quickly. Misplaced mostly. The nurses , and psychologist have done great ,as I have asked, to issue his medicine three times a day to better control his emotions outbursts Last, but not least, my Brother has declined to the point where he will not take showers, wash his clothes, and understand that he has defecated in his bed. So, they try to sneak in his room quickly while he is at lunch to change his linens. He does have rights, but it is very difficult to get a 6 foot four strong person to keep himself clean. I myself cannot coerce him to do this.. They do the best they can and I appreciate it.

I toured the memory care area. I found it very open and airy. Lots of natural light and the single rooms had nice big windows. Best of the two places I saw up to now. Residents were out and about the common areas. I also liked the all inclusive price.

Everyone there has been wonderful and although her mental status varies from day to day she seems to like it well enough. There's always room for improvement. Oaks at Savannah is under new management. It is now Grace Manor

Staff is friendly and helpful, room size is ok, the food is really good, they're not as good about cleanliness as I would like. I'd recommend it. They really seem to care and they're taking good care of my mom.

My husband and I really love the other residents here, and we have enjoyed many aspects of living in the community. However, we have been disappointed with the food and laundry services. We also experienced a significant transportation issue when the bus with the wheelchair lift broke down and was out of service for about a month. During that time, we were unable to get to some of our doctors’ appointments. Fortunately, that issue has now been resolved. There has also been considerable staff turnover. We are currently on our third Director since March, which has made the transition and continuity of care somewhat challenging. We are still considering whether we should move, but after a recent hospital stay and rehabilitation therapy, I continue to have nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals coming by to assist with my recovery. Because of this, it will likely be some time before we seriously consider moving. In the meantime, we sincerely hope that things improve. We truly like the other residents and would prefer to stay if the concerns with food, laundry, staffing, and services can be addressed. We are hopeful that positive changes will be made so that we can continue to call this community home.

All of the workers are friendly and caring. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

Overall experience is a 4 only reason it's not a 5 is because of the food and AC issues. Very clean. No odors whatsoever. Everyone is extremely friendly, even the custodians. They have done an excellent job coordinating all of my sister's health care needs (which are a lot). The administrative staff is extremely empathetic and good at their jobs. I have met with them numerous times and the have been very responsive to my concerns. Food is a 3 only because there are lot of fatty foods offered and almost no seafood at all. The vegetables are overcooked. Some of the "dinner" offering look more like lunch items to my sister and I. There are many activities offered (unfortunately my sister does not take advantage of most of them). Would like to see more culturally oriented trips off property on Fridays. I think for the money my sister is spending, she is getting a huge amount of value. Housekeeping cleans all room thoroughly every week, laundry is collected and returned folded and pristine, employees come and remind residents about meals and field trips, all medical appointments are scheduled right there at the facility ( everything from orthopedics to dermatologists)!

Activities for memory care are engaging. Food is recorded as the same thing over and over; again this is memory care- so they have to have easy to swallow dishes. Staff always seems happy. Rooms are kept up. 4 stars based on always needs for growth and improvement.

There was some confusion in the beginning. Don't know about some of the fees. Said everything was in house , but some services are hard to get. Room is fine. Food seems to be good, no issues.

Staff is the biggest plus. They are attentive, friendly and responsive. It has taken a bit of time for the new owners to settle into new procedures Only difficulty is occasional problems with the internet provider and tv provider. It takes several days to fix issues.
