Clean and a good value. But very high turnover and a lot of confusion in administration/management. The people taking care of my mom were nice but they were constantly changing. Confusion about how to handle her prescriptions.

Many times the food is carb-heavy, making it difficult for diabetic residents. The staff is friendly, but they are short-staffed most weekends and mornings. They need to add more variety to the food menu.

The place is a 4 and nearing a 5 from what I can see when I visit. So my comments are from my conversations with my wife and my father-in-law he lives there. Every time I've visited he seems happy living there the grounds are clean and well-kept. We have had only good encounters with management they have been so helpful in getting him settled in, he is thankful to them and to A Place for Mom as well.

The administrative staff is very helpful and handles most problems quickly. The health aides and general staff are very friendly, and do. their jobs well. Kudos to[Name removed]- he goes above and beyond . The cook [Name removed] is very accessible and friendly. My sister loves everything, but the food. There is a lack of seafood offerings and variety of fresh fruits. The facility itself is very clean and well-maintained. The monthly activity calendars are very useful. It helps me in discussing different activities with my sister. I would recommend this facility readily ( and have) to friends and family.

They are happy with the staff and my problem is not really with the staff, it's a family member who is my wife's health advocate, who also works in this field from Connecticut. My wife of 58 years is happy, that is all that matters to me. Thank you and A Place For Mom, for all your help.

I have had a wonderful experience so far at Grace Manor Suites. They provide excellent home cooked meals! Everyone, staff and management bring that southern charm and hospitality. Always clean and smells great.

The shortage with staffing makes it difficult at times but they are working on it and I am sure it will be resolved soon. Yes, I would recommend Ashton Manor at Sugarloaf to other families

We are pleased, high staff turnover is a concern but we know this is an industry problem. I would recommend to others.

The only point we hear about from my mother in law is about the food. Reliability of the morning staff seems to be an issue. Also the quality of the food has some inconsistency, examples that I know of is frozen pie delivered for dessert and a recent meal of soup was so salty it was inedible. Otherwise the staff is very supportive of Sybil. The facility is clean and [name removed] seems to be enjoying herself.

They have very friendly staff and a great activity director. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one. It's a great value for the money.

We have been very satisfied. Like most care facilities they could use more staff. That being said everyone without exception has been very caring. Management addresses issues when they arise quick and efficiently.

They are very helpful but can be short staffed on things like housekeeping. I think they hired a chef the month we left. Healthier, fresh food. Most of the food was processed and they did not offer enough vegetables. Management was changed in November 2025 so this may no longer be an issue.

I'm hoping once the changes in employees is finalized that they retain them better. Every staff member - admin has changed since September The independent living is nicer than others because they have a door that opens immediately outside so it feels more like a patio homes and apartments They have had 2 chefs and are on the 3 in a year so no consistency. Fortunately my mom cooks a couple of her meals a week. It's the best place for mom to be able to open her back door and take her dog outside off the patio

The staff has been wonderful. They have been very patient and accommodating. The only challenge we have had is not having a specialty diet. My mother-in-law has heart disease and is on dialysis and the meals that are provided are too high in sodium for her. She has a kitchen and can cook, but it really is not safe. She is going to be transitioning to assisted living in the coming month.

I felt immediately comfortable. I currently use a walker and I didn't feel out of place as the majority of tenants use one.

Each family must look out for their loved one's interests and stay on top of care keeping the staff informed if there are areas of concern on a regular basis. I have learned to be an advocate for my mother through trials. We must learn to be healthcare advocates in every way we can and not trust that everything is done as we would want it to be.

Mom is overall enjoying Wellington Manor. She still talks about wanting to live at her home & that's why she is not completely content there. When [name removed] left I was worried it would not be as good as it was before but the new administrator is very attentive and doing a great job.

I love the folks who work there. They LOVE their residents.

We are no longer living at Osprey Manor. We thought at the time it was the level of care that we needed. I will say this. Everyone who works there from [name removed] kitchen staff, cleaning & maintenance are wonderful. That type of living just wasn't for us.
