The Family Advisor greeted us, gave us information, answered our questions and showed us a one-bedroom apartment. She was very professional & efficient, yet very warm and friendly. It is rare in these days, but she was honest and told me that Sumter Grove was a better fit for me at this time. I really appreciated that. The facility was very convenient to everything. It was sparkling clean and nicely decorated. We were really impressed. We felt it was more of a rehabilitation and nursing home facility than assisted living. There was no nursing home type scents. The inhabitants that we saw were in wheel chairs, some wearing a leg prothesis and walking with canes.

Great staff and tour. Drop in visit went great! Looking to utilize the memory care unit, transition team and nurse had been amazingly helpful.

From the start, we had a great experience working with the manager, J[name removed]. She answered all of our questions clearly and made the transition seamless. The apartment sizes have been a perfect fit for our needs.

Staff have been amazing to work with and very understanding of our concerns as a family. So thankful for the team at Rock Hill Grove.

Mom is surrounded by structure, connection, caring staff/therapists, and support! The lake and baby ducks outside are an added bonus. Dementia is hard, but she is doing so much better with all of the care at Fairforest Grove.

It is a beautiful place--always clean and attractive inside and out when I visit my sister. She enjoys the meals most of the time, has assistance when needed, and enjoys a variety of fun and entertaining activities. I rest more easily knowing she is there!

Mom is doing well at Grace Manor. She says the staff is very supportive. Only thing she is getting use to is the food. Food is a little different than she is used to to.

My wife is in the memory care. All of the aids are very respectful. They never give orders to the patients, but ask "do you want to sit here", "are you through with your meal", etc. They seem to be aware that all of the folks were, in earlier years, young married, new mothers, had careers and were not having memory issues. I watched a big, tall young worker gently take the hand of a confused person and slowly lead them to a seat. I would rate them 5 stars, (the best). The food should be rated 4 1/2 to a 5. The workers are always cleaning the tables and sweeping the floors after a meal, they are quick to move the plates and utensils and wipe off the tables. Their is always a small, tasty desert served after a meal.

Nice staff Clean facility Just perfect for an older adult and even couples. They have a media room with movies available all day tou pick and play on thw DVD player. They have games They have local excursions. They drive to appointments. They have a pool hall even ! They have religious services. They have 3 meals a day serves in ding hall. No need to buy food/ groceries. They allow in room nurses and physical therapy and occupational therapy as well if prescribed by your Dr. They doors lock at 5 p.m. but every resident has a code to get inside after 5. There is a person at the door and desk during normal business hours. The cable t.v. services are included. The local phone line is free you just buy a desk phone and you have your own personal number no need for cell phones. They have snacks in the hallways available every day in case you need to munch. They do your trash 2 times daily so there are no critters around. They clean your room and your bathrooms weekly. They provide all the toilet paper for every resident. They have a coffee carafe' available in the entrance to the dining hall of you like coffee all day long. They have meals available for guests if you reserve it ahead of time for a small fee. They have Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at no charge so families can come celebrate with them as well. They have all kinds of activities every day. Puzzles, arts and crafts, etc. They have a smoking area out back of the facility but no smoking indoors. I could go on all day !

Facility was clean and orderly. All of the staff was friendly and caring. [name removed] was great and we really appreciate the time she took with us!

The facility waa very nice and welcoming![Name removed], the Family Advisor is a gem! However as new family bringing a family to the facility, I would have thought the Executive Director who was on site and in the office across from from where I was doing the intake for my family member, would have taken the time to introduce herself and welcome us! Unfortunately that did not happen! I also noticed in the lobby area at the front door, the filter in the ceiling was horrible. It needs to be changed!

To clarify The 2 grade. My brother is way above the physical shape than must all the patients. He can walk 3-4 miles daily without any problems. He can engage verbally at a higher level as well. A large walking area inside and outside, shuffle board, ping pong, pool, or a fitness room / treadmill would be a better fit for him. Other than that, he is safe, clean, fed, and the public is protect from him. That's a blessing. I would recommend the facility. The price point is also good compared to the rest of the country

Complains mail isn't given on time on various occasions. Maintenance sometimes is slow.

The place was one of the best that I have been in all the cleaning the food the staff ever body I couldn't have found a better place for my brother, thank you. It's the best.

Our family met with the staff at Chapman Manor and toured the facility twice, to ensure its suitability as a memory care residence for my mother-in-law. We give Chapman Manor our highest recommendation.

The staff was very responsive whenever I had a question or concern. Mom's caretakers seemed invested in her well-being.

It's a really good place. Friendly and caring. They take really good care of my mother. I would recommend to others.
