She is doing good so far, it's a very nice facility. The facility is clean, and the staff is helpful, and friendly. The food is very good. We have no complaints, as of yet. We are happy with them.

Everything has gone very well with Sterling House, we're very pleased with it. They keep everything looking nice and clean, the employees are all very friendly, and they take good care of the people here. They also do a great job with the food, it's been tasty every time I've tried it!

Things have gone very well at Autumn Leaves! It's a very nice looking community, and everyone has been very friendly. They do an excellent job communicating with families, and are quick to let you know if anything goes wrong or answer any questions you may have. They've been able to provide everything they promised in terms of care, and are taking great care of our loved one!

We used this facility briefly for some respite care for a loved one, and we though they did a great job overall! It was a nice looking place, the staff were very friendly, and my loved one seemed to enjoy her time there.

Where do I begin to tell my story about Autumn Leaves. My mother was in an Assisted Living facility in Hendersonville, NC. Her memory was beginning to fail her, but we didn’t think too much of it. In early April she broke her hip and she went to a skilled nursing facility for rehab and recovery. She was recovering, however, my sisters and I realized that Mom’s memory issues were more than what we thought and we began to understand that she was in the mid stage of Alzheimer’s. I am the youngest of three sisters and it was tasked to me to find a suitable “Home” for Mom in Georgia. (I am the closest, one sister is in CA the other is in NY). So the search begins. My daughter found an organization called Senior Helpers. They were instrumental is narrowing my search to a few facilities in my area. I visited all of them, and saved Autumn Leaves for my final destination. I cry every time I think of the first time I met Kim Waid. The love and compassion for my situation was evident and REAL. As the daughter, you are very close to the situation and it is very emotional to realize your Mom now has a new “Normal” that has to be accepted and understood. The staff at Autumn Leaves helped me so much to understand where my Mom was at and what to expect. Everyone, and I mean everyone on staff is trained in memory care and play an active role in the residents lives. (My Mom is sweet on their Maintenance Manager Michael, he is her calming effect when she gets upset) Transferring a resident from another state is a feat in itself. I was so confused and concerned about all of the logistics in doing this. To my relief and my surprise, when the time came, Susan Tidwell (Executive Director) and Christa Hoffman (RN) got up early on a Wednesday morning and drove to Hendersonville, NC (a 4 hour trip) to personally meet my Mom and assess her for the transfer. I cannot tell you the relief and gratitude I felt knowing that they were there with me for the entire journey. It has been a month now that Mom is at “Home” in Autumn Leaves. There were some good days and bad days, however, the staff were comforting and supportive of me and my Mom and assured me she would settle in. They explained any move is traumatic, and when you are older and have Alzheimer’s the change can be very stressful for my Mom. Just the other day, my Mom was not feeling “right” so to be cautious the Dr. and staff suggested she go to the ER to get checked out. She checked out just fine. The best part was she said when she was in the ER, she wanted to go Home. When we got her back to Autumn Leaves she had a big smile on her face seeing the staff and said “Thank God I am Home”. If you want the best care for your loved one Autumn Leaves is where they will get it and feel like they are “Home”

Mom hasn't moved in yet, her official move-in date is the 29th, but she is excited and pumped about having her own space and the staff that took her around the facility couldn't have been more positive and enervating. Steve was so kind; bought her flowers and a quilting book because I told him that was her passion. Annie is dynamic and caring and obviously committed to providing the best experience she can for the residents. I'm excited about the potential and looking forward to many happy years here for my mom. Her take: She told me tonight that she had "only two more days to put up with me" ;) How funny is that!

A very pleasant atmosphere for all of the employees. Very attentive to my mother and always available when ever I have any questions or issues (which I really have not had any). My mother has been there over a year and is a Level One care.

We found Morningside with the help of "A Place for Mom". Robbin was very, very helpful and understanding about the difficulty of the process. She has been through this so many times she made us understand that our confusion was normal and that we just needed to stay on course.... which we did. That led us eventually to Morningside. My Mom moved in last week and is quickly adjusting. She can see that everything is there for her. She is going to be a very hard nut to crack... but that shell already has a few cracks in it. A Place of Mom helped us to understand the process that she will be going through. I can't say enough........ and it was free.

Things are going well. The staff is very friendly, and they keep the community nice and clean. They are responsive, and attentive, and they have some good activities to choose from. There are no complaints about the food, and I can't really think of any areas that need to be improved or done better. All in all they are doing good.

My mom has been at Horizon Bay for two years and loves it there. They'll fix whatever she wants at any meal. She sits wherever she chooses. The entire staff and residents are like family caring for one another.

Our loved one moved into Savannah Courts a couple of months ago. We are very pleased with all the staff from marketing to activities to nursing/therapy and dining. They have all been very helpful with this big transition in our lives. Our loved one has benefited from the socialization and the care they provide. We are very happy and satisfied with Savannah Courts. I highly recommend you to check out this family friendly assisted living home.

Savannah Court of Maitland is outstanding! The residents are engaged, the staff are caring and the amenities are excellent. Of all the assisted living communities in the area this is the one that you walk into and become instant family. Working in the industry and being in and out of numerous communities daily I can always count of their residents to be happy and smiling, which speaks volumes. From the front desk to healthcare staff, everyone that works here is not only friendly but committed to making everyone feel welcome . If anyone says differently its probably a competitor and I suggest you visit the community see for yourself.

We are very happy with them. I'm not sure about the activities, in the memory area, when I ask her what she did that day, she can't tell me what she's done. I know they take them outside, I've been there and seen that. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They were so over the top eager to help us, they called me back within an hour. We were in a crisis situation, and this made all the difference. Breakfast is the same everyday, but when I go for lunch and dinner, and they seem to have a good variety. If they could cut up the meat on the plates for them, that would be helpful, I think.

When I toured Savannah Court, the residents were happy. I was there at lunch and asked how the food tasted. Everyone I asked was enjoying their lunch. After lunch there were activities. Almost everyone participated and laughed. It was wonderful to see.

Clean and loving environment! I placed my grandmother at Grace Manor Suites 8 months ago. She has had the best care & they check on her every hour. This is a big deal to me because at the previous facility she was at in lakeland she fell and laid on the ground for 2 hours before someone came in to see her!!!!!!!!!! The staff goes above and beyond for their residents. You defenatly feel like family at Grace Manor Suites.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! They know the residents and care about them. The facility is clean and nicely appointed. We have been very happy with our experience! We were looking for a place for our mother and our criteria was that if we would not live there, we wouldn't take her there. We would live here.

Steve was awesome! Between Savannah Court and A Place For Mom, they really made this happen for us. The food is good, and one of the important factors is they have Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing, that was a plus for us. It made the transition seamless. I have had nothing but good feedback from them, they are good at keeping up with the communication. One of the things that swayed the decision, was that they were able to outsource some of the other things for us, like they provided us a company that was able to move her from one place to the other. We are out of state so that was important. They had a nurse practitioner come out and assess her too, to make sure this would be a good fit for her.

The people are really nice! They’ve helped me out considerably. They’re great! Mom seems to like the food. I’ve had a chance to try it. I’d just like other families to know that it’s a great place. They have decent parking available.
