I toured and/or assessed more than twelve senior living communities on be my 95-year-old mother in and around Orange City Florida during [date removed]. It was a bewildering process; for three weeks I found no acceptable facility until I came upon American House Orange City. Hands down, I discovered that American House provides the best housing options at the best price with the best service. Visiting American House multiple times on a daily basis over the next five weeks, I found that the facility exceeded all of my expectations. Its staff are professional, friendly, caring and considerate. The facility is always clean and presentable. My mother (a health-conscious retired R.N.) is exceedingly pleased with the facility's dining options and food quality, and the chef's constant willingness to solicit recommendations from the residents about helpful changes to the menu. My mother and I could not be happier with American House Orange City. It's top-notch in all regards.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience was superb, it was very clean and the people were nice very. Even though we did not pick this community for our loved one we would of been happy if they moved into Brookdale Greenwood.

It has been an excellent experience. I've had no concerns. The dining and the friendliness of the staff stand out to me.

Sunabella and the staff are amazing. They take very good care of my dad. It is the best care facility he's ever been in!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff

My lived at Wellington Manor for over a year. She had previously resided at 2 other assisted living facilities. The staff treated her wonderfully and like family. She was always clean and cared for any time I stopped by for a visit. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. They were wonderful to my mom and gave her excellent care and I knew she was always taken care of there! They were all great!

My new home is great, for my needs. Staff is friendly and well informed. The food is good and the whole place is clean.

I have been participating in activities that I enjoy such as bingo, coffee and chat, and Bible study. The concierge staff ahs been very kind to me, and everyone is very helpful.

The staff at Fairforest Grove always follows through. They are all very nice people that care about their jobs. Every time I walk in the door of Fairforest Grove Senior Living, they know who I am and they maintain open lines of communication with me about the status of my loved one. This community is a Godsend for my family. I feel like my loved one's voice is being heard and that she is respected in the community, by staff and residents. I don't eat with Mom, but she doesn't complain about the food or snacks! I just called her she is playing bingo. She loves the activities. The staff coordinated all of the community amenities, so my loved one could go have her hair and nails done and those types of things. It took it off my plate. The staff really relieved a lot of stress during this transition.

The staff to me is the best part of this facility. They are so nice to the residents. They have an in staff doctor who is great. There are plenty of activities provided and they have him up and moving/dancing around. I never thought dad would adjust, but he did and he calls it home now - that is huge. I would recommend Sunabella at Savannah to others.

My loved one loved the food, and always complimented the cooks. I picked this community, because when I walked through the door, one of the cargivers, gave me a feeling that it was a good fit for my loved one. The residents were all interacting and happy. They always made me feel welcomed. I like the atmosphere, it was caring, and the staff worked together completely, no matter what their job was. They always stepped up to help the residents. I trust their care, and I was always able to interact with the staff members. The nurse is wonderful. There is always something going on with the activities.

I’m so thankful for the kind and loving staff at Fairforest. My dad was dying of cancer, and it’s comforting to us that his final days were spent in a safe, clean environment being monitored by a trained, professional, and caring staff. I highly recommend this Assisted Living Facility.

They are kind and caring. The facility is clean and well run. They can improve on communication with the responsible party for the resident.

We moved mom, who’s 91, last week. The move went flawlessly, especially having items shipped, including furniture, before she moved in. The team on-site are gracious, kind and caring. They rolled out the red carpet for her the day she moved in which was very special. [name removed] was so helpful taking my many calls and texts. Mom is safe and happy!

[name removed] was the first person we met, she was amazing! She was readily available to answer all of our questions before, during, and after Dad's big move. Lakeshore is so nice and the entire staff is great. Dad and I were nervous but it is better that expected. Every time I go see Dad, he seems so happy. His room is always clean and he tells me that everyone is so friendly and caring. He said "mija, I am happy here they are so nice to me. Please don't bother bringing me any food because they give me enough. They are always checking on me too and I am making friends, I like it!" I can't remember everyone's name so I would like to send a general statement to all staff. THANK YOU ALL FOR CARING AND MAKING SURE DAD IS HAPPY, APPRECIATE YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS!! If you question yourself on if this is a good idea, look no further the Manor is beyond my expectations! This was truly the most amazing place for my loved one to be! I couldn’t have chose a better facility!

Our loved one really enjoys the meals and dining service as well as the activities. We did not think they would participate in what they offer but for the value we love the activities and amenities. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend them to other families.

It's a very clean community. There is interaction with, the people at the main desk and the director, but there is no interaction with the staff on the main floor. The lunch and dinner is terrible but breakfast is good. My loved one needs to be, included in more activies that are appropriate for them. We picked this community because, it was better than other places that we visited. We also liked, the cleanliness, and they had onsite nurses in the building. The facility itself was really nice.
